New owners were terrible and now business is closed. Crappie ending to a good biz. Now there is only a sign on the door saying that they are temporarily closed but it has been up for over a month

Called business several times and no answer. The answer machine mailbox was full. Came to the business and there’s a sign saying it’s temporarily closed with no date of return.

I’m not sure if you are still in business or not? I came to your location today at 11:30AM and the store is closed?

I went in expecting to have my all time favorite Charlie Brown cupcake to see that it was a completely different cupcake *****There is new ownership***** The cupcakes are much smaller, frosting is gritty, and the cake consistency is not correct. Sad to say I will not be returning. I also had the same issue where I arrived after opening and there wasn’t even half the cupcake selection ready – if you’re going to open a business or takeover one you should make sure you have the time to commit to it.

I’ve been in this plaza a million times and always brushed over Pinky’s since it wasn’t that appealing from the outside. When I saw that it had good reviews on Unilocal,I thought I’d give it a shot. My initial reaction was the obnoxious amount of bleach that hit my senses right as I walked in. That should have been a sign! I had some specific questions for some custom ordering and the poor, sweet teenager behind the counter didn’t have much knowledge to offer. I felt bad that I was asking her tough questions, so I bought a few cupcakes to test it out. I got something like a butterfinger and the churro. The cake part on the butterfinger one was soooo dry and the churro was drenched in cinnamon flavoring. Overall, pretty mediocre. I’ve had better at Albertsons. LOL.

Just tried to order 2 dozen cookies and was quoted $ 4/cookie. Sadly the owner was unwilling to work with me or brainstorm a simpler cookie to create. I have used Pinky’s in the past and have been so happy with the cookies and service. Not sure if ownership has changed but one thing is for sure, I will never go back or recommend it.

Soooo yummy, my friend and I resorted to eventually go to as many cupcakeries as possible and we came across this one maybe like 3 years ago! Been going ever since! Not only are their cupcakes delicious but the owner had great customer service and another plus, I like to support small businesses! Mmm I can’t say I have a fave I love them all ! I like the Tuesday cheesecake one can’t go wrong with red velvet and salted caramel is absolutely delicious! Also cupcakes are deliciously moist!!!

My daughter wanted a cupcake for her birthday and this place was super close. We went straight there after the gym and arrived a few minutes before they opened(11am). Finally at about 11:10 they opened. There were hardly any cupcakes in the case, which was weird considering they JUST opened. I got a red velvet and it was dry, flavorless, just plain yucky. I swear they were leftover cupcakes from the day before! My daughter took one bite and said she didn’t like hers either. Wish I would have just took the drive to Sprinkles!

I chose a Sweet Dream cupcake, which was supposed to be a vanilla cupcake with what I thought would be a vanilla frosting. The cake was kind of dense and reminded me a little of cornbread taste and texture-wise, and the frosting had a bit of cream cheese tanginess. It’s a little more exciting than your average white on white cupcake, and I like the fact that it’s not overwhelmingly sweet, but I just didn’t get the«wow» factor. I’m not sure if I’d come back again, but if I did, it might help if they have descriptions for each cupcake in the display. Compared to other cupcake shops, I’d say this was about average.

These were some of the worst cupcakes I have had! First for something nice. The gal at the counter was super sweet! The rest: These are NOT cupcakes. They are frosted muffins. The consistency is way to dense. Flavor you ask. There is none. Zero none plaino janeo! The frosting tasted like nothing on all the cupcakes. Very very sad when I can make them better out of a box. I am not sure how this place stays in business. Go elsewhere even if it means driving out of your way. It will save you money and disappointment.

I ordered a dozen of cupcakes with hello kitty decoration on top for my niece’s birthday and Vanessa did her best with the decoration especially when I asked her to make everything edible instead of placing the plastic hello kitty on top like some other places. Ordered red velvet and mrs. lord(vanilla cake and strawberry cream), kids love it

I love this place! My favorites are the Strawberry-Lemonade and Raspberry Champagne. Make sure to check the website for the flavor schedule to see which cupcakes are available on which day. Some flavors are available everyday! Don’t pass on the shave ice!

Pretty sure I will die sooner because of the sweets there, but I will die with a smile. Thank you for making life just a little bit better!

One day, while shopping around at the Dollar Store, my friend and I noticed this little cupcake place. I’m not a huge fan on sweets, but my friend was and she really wanted to try it out. So we went to try it out. It really does take a lot to wow me with sweets, and I wasn’t too impressed. Wasn’t too special to me, just tasted like any over average mini cupcake. Plus they were a bit pricey. I took a couple to work with me as well, and I guess I wasn’t the only one that wasn’t impressed. This place is so randomly located. I’m honestly surprised my friend even saw it. I didn’t even think it was opened when we walked by. It looked so sad and dark inside, and it kind of was minus the little decorations. Honestly, I’m probably not going to come back. The dessert was mediocre and the price range is a bit much.

Where to begin? This place is such a cluster you-know-what. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION I was driving west on Talbert and saw on the shopping center sign«Cupcakes» and decided to go get one. First problem, I had a very difficult time finding the place once I went looking for it. After looking at everything else I drive up to the location that says«Pinky’s» and next to it is a little tiny cupcake. If you want to be found, make it proud. UH, WHATISTHAT… WHATISTHAT… WHATISTHAT? They have all these«cutesy» names for their cupcakes and you have no idea what they are. I suggested to the counter girl to put a legend in the case window with a description so we as customers don’t have to ask about every single cupcake to know what we might want. I am pretty sure it fell on deaf ears. TASTEISEVERYTHING I bought their monkey something cupcake which is a blueberry cupcake with banana frosting. It tasted exactly like a Jiffy blueberry muffin box mix, the kind my mom use to make when I was a kid. The frosting was too light and basically flavorless. OOPS??? Well, when she handed me my cupcake was I surprised. I get it floating inside of a huge plastic box on a limp piece of parchment. If I had wanted to take it home I would have been out of luck as it was doing the Electric Slide all over the container on the slightest movement. Get a clue people and use cupcake boxes! GETTINGINTHEDOOR Finally, I have a big issue with the front door. You walk in directly into a wall and have to turn right to enter into the store. Problem is that since the door swings inward and you guessed it, to the right, rather than outward you must close the door first in order to walk in. All they have to do is reverse the hinges and it would be a lot easier and not a fire hazard. Very dumb! By the way, the décor leaves a lot to be desired and is just a hodge-podge of things. All in all not a good experience and one not likely to repeat.

My coworker has been raving about their cupcakes for the past week! I LOVE cupcakes so when she decided to take orders, I jumped on it! Ordered: Red Velvet and Salty Carmel Swirl(2/$ 5) Meh, not a fan… Both cupcakes were not moist(boooo!) and the frosting was extremely sweet and GRAINY! What’s up with that? The salty carmel swirl had an oil aftertaste(Bleh!) and there was barely any carmel filling! =( I’ve had my fair share of cupcakes– Sprinkles, ConfeXion, My Delight Cupcakery, Frosted Cupcakery, SusieCakes, Dots, Crumbs, just to name a few… Sorry, but Pinky’s just doesn’t compare =/ NEXT!
