Went by the other day to see what they were about. Looks like they shut their doors for good. There were lots of appliances inside, but the windows were butcher papered up, there was a pile of mail just inside the slot, and there was a flier for a bankruptcy attorney taped to the door. Inside, I noticed the phone number, called it, and found it to be disconnected.

We had the same problem as the Mary W. — paid for our washer and dryer the day we ordered it, then got the runaround for over a month before everyything showed up. Lies, half-truths, missed delivery appointments. NEVERAGAIN.

BUYERBEWARE. We have shopped at this store for years when they were located on Beach Blvd. and have purchased many items from them. We were recently buying a wall oven and decided to give them a try once again. We were promised the product in two to four weeks. Lowes promised the same oven in two weeks, but decided to give the local guy the business. We needed some modification to our existing cabinets, and they did the work themselves, so felt comfortable having them install the oven. After four weeks and hearing nothing from the store, we gave them a call. They told us the oven had come into their warehouse the previous Friday, but it was after their truck had left the warehouse with their weekly load. We would get our oven the next week. The next week we called again. This time we were told the truck had gone to the warehouse to pick up a load, but they had too many items to bring back to the store and our oven didn’t make it on the truck. We would have our oven the next week. They promised the oven that Friday, so set a date on Saturday for them to come and install the product. Ten minutes before they were to arrive, Randy called to say the oven had not come in as it had been loaded on a truck that went to San Diego and they didn’t get a shipment that day. The oven would be in their store on Wednesday or Thursday of the following week. On Friday after hearing nothing from the store, we went to the store. We were prepared to ask for our money back since they had charged our credit card the day we purchased the oven. We were told that their truck was en route as we spoke to pick up the oven and it would be into their store later that day. In the conversation with Jeff, he told us the truck had gone to San Diego the week before and had been in an accident and that is why they couldn’t deliver to us. Do you think they could have come up with any more stories? Later that day, we did get a call that the oven had come in and they could install it the following morning. Randy and his installer came. The installer couldn’t have been nicer, but Randy, you need a lesson in customer service. It took seven weeks to get our oven and a lot of worry and concern. I had contacted the manufacturer to see if there was a production problem and was told they had plenty ovens of that model available. The people in the store were rude and treated us like we had just fallen off the turnip truck. Once when we did check on the oven, Randy did say he apologized and Jeff did say he was sorry the last day we were in the store. But other than that, we were treated very poorly. WEWILLNEVERSETFOOTINTHATSTOREAGAIN. Just be aware when you put your money down that things probably won’t go perfectly. It’s a shame that a local store doesn’t get it that they must provide that extra service and a positive attitude to get repeat business. No wonder big box stores are surviving.
