My wife and I love this place. We ordered a pizza and had a little hiccup. And, they corrected it right away. There is nothing like great customer service! Pizza, you can’t live with it and you can’t live without it.

I go here for the lunch buffet sometimes. The pizza is crappy, but not offensively so. The real gem here is the salad bar which is unreasonably good. I mainly go just to build up an epic salad and score a couple pieces of pizza if one of my favorites happens to show up. I usually end up with pepperoni though, the pizza selection at lunch is pretty random.

Yummy & the staff is always so nice with offering specials when I place an order.

Cheap, easy lunch. I grew up on Round Table Pizza and there is something about the Peperoni and crust that I crave 1 – 2 times a year. Yes, there are MANY better places for Pizza on the Peninsula, and If you didn’t grow up on it, most would think its garbage, like Domino’s, Pizza Hut and Papa Johns are. A personal pizza, salad bar and drink for less then $ 10 a person in the 650 is great. The pizza was a tiny bit overcooked, but it was edible. Just enough Pizza not to screw up my amazing body. The location is in a strip mall, next to a giant apartment complex that lacks parking and I can’t even imagine what a cluster this is at night. Bumper beware. I would come back, on the weekend, for an early/late lunch because every so often you need that fix.

I grew up in Foster City eating Round Table Pizza since I was a kid. In my humble opinion this restaurant should look at improving their service and quality. The pizza I ate tonight did not bring back those Wonderfull childhood memories… Instead it finalized my decision to NEVER eat here again. Good Luck

I don’t think Round Table Pizza is very good. At the same time, it is around the corner from my house and our son likes it OK, so sometimes you can’t beat the convenience. Hence I will go there again, but every time I go, I never feel good about it. Today I called at 4:45 and said I wanted to pick it up at 5:15 giving them ample time to make the order. I walked out at 5:25. The food is OK, but as many of the Unilocal say, the service is just not good. The guy waiting on me should have apologized, didn’t, but at least worked hard to try and get the order completed. When I asked him if I could speak with a manager, he gets someone who was ten feet behind him and heard the whole thing. Any real manager who cared about the place, would have intercepted this earlier and attempted to fix the problem or minimally provide me $s off or something. She ultimately did nothing, which of course was no surprise. So unless you live around the corner or have a pizza emergency in Foster City, take your business elsewhere!

If I could give this shit hole 0 stars I would. Customer service is by far the worst. Ordered a $ 30 pizza for delivery and didn’t even get the chance to eat it cause it took Over two hours and I live half a mile from this shit hole. DONOT order from this place. I shoulda read the Unilocal before I ordered.

Was here a couple of weeks ago. Ugh… Awful attitude from the person by the counter. They plainly wanted to be anywhere else. The restaurant? Two other people in it besides us. It was nearly empty. But half the tables still had dishes on them, they were not cleaned away. I wonder how many hours these dirty dishes were sitting on these tables. The pizza was not exactly the best, either. It was ok for chain store pizza, but there are other places to get pizza around here. It was unclean, the food was mediocre, the employees were unpleasant. No way on Earth would I ever go back here.

I’ve come here a handful of times and have had to wait way too long for my pizza every time. To top it off, the pizza is very mediocre at best so it’s not even worth the wait. And if you end up eating here, it’s always dirty and loud with families and kids. It’s just the closest pizza spot to the person I visit in the area. She’s told me their delivery also takes forever. The only positive thing I can say about them is that the staff is usually nice when interacting with them… but, on that note, they’re not very professional considering how slow they are and how many excuses they come up with for their lack of effort.

I would have given them zero stars if that was possible. What can I say, horrible service, dough was not even baked properly, chicken wings seemed like they just nuked it in a microwave, driver was lost, forgot our chili peppers that we mentioned to bring… Thank you but no thanks

DONTORDERFROMTHISLOCATION! the store manager was rude and short when I needed his assistance to pay for a large order. I asked for his full name incase I needed to contact him again and he would only give me his first name, Freddy. They were also very late with the delivery and hung up on me when I asked him to hold for one min.

Don’t ever order pizza from here… they suck! The pizza came 1.5hours late and was soggy dripping… wouldn’t call it a pizza. More like a pancake with red sauce on it. Not what you would expect to get for $ 30+ If you call the store the employees will give you excuses in the world about why they can’t deliver… too many orders, too few drivers, traffic, etc… they should stop saying they can deliver and just survive on pick up and in store business.

In the mid 90s I videotaped the regional VP at Round Table corporate Headquarters in San Francisco who had some very honest comments to the owner of the Foster City and San Mateo locations. Before we got to her session she asked me where I lived, and if I liked the Round Table location in Foster City. She was the client, so all I could really do was smile pollitely and say I didn’t go there too often. Her response; «Yes, we know. We’ve had issues with the owner.» That was in the 90s. I don’t know if those stores have changed hands any, but the pizza hasn’t gotten better. The Foster City location used to be a big rundown, but the pizza was okay. And I mean that in the most sincere way. Now the location has been revamped over the last ten years, and where the location(last I checked) was nice and clean, the pizza is thinner than before, and the amount of toppings are not as generous. Additionally, there was little sauce on the pizza we ordered. I shrug at it. I’m overweight, so I could stand to lose a few pounds by cutting down on my caloric intake. BUT, when I ordered from any of the other independent pizza establishments, I can hardly hold myself back from polishing of half an Extra large. Tonight, after about a quarter of a smaller regular«large», I had to stop. Sidenote; the local county have tried courting my friend into various careers in local businesses with visual clues, and tonight was the last straw for him as the same low-brow psychological tactic was used for the umpteenth time, with said Round Table location as the target of employment opportunity. He has had it. Neither he nor I would work, much less manage, this particular location for all the pizza sauce in Italy(and elsewhere). Order from this round table if you must, but be aware that the owner during the 80s and 90s had quality control contentions and issues with Corporate HQ in San Francisco, and it was a thing that was never resolved. Given the paltry pizza I had tonight, I can only assume the fight rages on. I would recommend patronizing one of the local chains or independent restaurants.

The worst experience ever! I ordered a pizza for delivery, was told it would be an hour(which was fine). Called after an hour and 20 minutes to check on my order and was told it takes an hour, I said it’s been an hour and 20. Response was we are running late. TWO hours later I get a call telling me that my order is being cancelled and will not be delivered due to major management issues. It took me ten years to try Round Table again and it looks like it will be another 10 years until I try them again(if ever). The WORST!

Fast service and flexible. Eat lunch on Sat and the place not crowded. Perfect for family. No lunch buffet on Sat or Sun. You can alway request to customize the pizza 50⁄50 topping.

Ordered a pizza that took over an hour to arrive. Called after 45 minutes to check on it and was told it would be here in 5 minutes. Later the driver called, saying he would be there soon, after other deliveries. He finally arrived and gave us a lukewarm, soggy pizza. I took two bites and gave up, called them back, went through the story, then once again with the manager. Asked for another pizza to be delivered or a refund, was told no refund’s or discounts on the pizza special. Manager argued and finally said he would give a $ 10 credit on the next order. I don’t care about the next order, what am I supposed to do with this un edible, lukewarm, soggy cardboard? No need for a credit, no plans to order again. Another poorly run suburban franchise. Foster City Round Table, where the customer doesn’t matter.

Round table is not my favorite pizza… don’t think it’s even on my top five but it’s popular so I end up eating it with people often… today I went during work to pick up for lunch. pluses about this location: family friendly, good location, they have Sierra Nevada which is always a plus :) The negative side: food wasn’t ready hen they said it would be… that’s one of my biggest pet peeves when ordering food, but I get that it comes with the territory. Employees were nice and there’s now a lunch buffet available so that’s cool

Nope. Last few times. Same old. The crust that I used to love is now something thin and lame. The last time I even tried a thick crust and even that turned out to be bad since it was mostly dough. I give up on Round Table.
