RootsForKids After School

This is the PERFECT after-​school program. My older son is in kindergarten and he LOVES RootsForKids. I’m planning to put my younger son in RFK and I’m just dreading the day that they graduate to middle school and can’t go here anymore!
The owners, Ms. Shuchi and Ms. Añu, are wonderful people, smart, caring, professional. They answer my emails promptly. This program is excellent academically but also fun. I can’t even believe the enrichment activities such as dancing, history, language classes, yoga. My son is learning more math here than in elementary school — and he’s having fun with it!
I give this program my highest recommendation. I’m just so grateful I found RootsForKids after a nightmarish experience trying to get them into the Annex (horrible!).

Excellent staff, great enrichment programs. Mrs. Shuchi and Mrs. Añu are very dedicated to this program and it reflects in the services they bring to the after school program. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for an after school program for their child.

My family and I moved from London a year ago, my daughter is 10 years old and she absolutely loved her weeks she spent there during summer holidays. She felt safe and part of a family. She’s become more outspoken, she’s more confident and I saw a difference right away. I’ll send her back to roots for kids without any second thoughts and I’ll recommend it to all parents who wants their children to learn and be involved.

My son has been with Roots for Kids through his Kindergarden year and I have been very happy with the curriculum and the activities. We have already signed up for the summer and for next year!
The teachers are very caring and they really teach the children. The fun activities include: chess, dancing, drawing, math, Spanish and a whole lot more.
I would recommend this after school care 100%.

Our 9 year old joined Roots for kids after-​school after a couple of Holiday camps she attended here. We could not have been more happy with our decision. Añu and Shuchi are warm, nurturing professionals who are constantly seeking to stimulate the after-​schoolers in a supportive environment. Our daughter loves the extracurricular activities in particular. She has the opportunity to partake in Yoga, bollywood dancing and chess camps– all during the afterschool hours. As busy working parents we are thankful & pleased that we do not have to invest additional family time on activities. The academics are geared to challenge the kids appropriately and Discover India is fun and educational. Our daughter is thriving academically and socially here– she has had the opportunity to participate in Math & Essay competitions here. To us, Roots is a lot more than an afterschool where homework gets done– it is a topnotch enrichment program that our daughter truly enjoys going to!

My sons loves it here! I really am relieved I did not send him to any other after school care. He has made lot of friends and I am glad the teachers here keeps him rooted in his tradition and values.

Whatever I said about the rootsforkids program holds true in all its spirit and I had absolutely no hesitation in removing my kid from annex and putting her in rootsforkids.
Cant take out even half star, given the love and care my daughter received. This gotta get all 5!

Roots for Kids is a fantastic afterschool program that believes in the overall development of the child. I signed up my 1^st grader at this program, and frankly, it is like a top class private elementary school. They have an excellent curriculum which includes Math, Launguage Arts, and Science, in addition to offering enrichment programs like dance and language immersion. They also include physical activity to keep the kids on their feet. The owners, Añu and Shuchi, are thoroughly professional, passionate, dedicated, warm with the kids, and they make it fun and exciting. My daughter never wants to come back home with me when I pick her up in the evenings. The facility is extremely clean, bright and lively. My daughter has developed by leaps and bounds, not only in her academic level, but also in her level of confidence and social awareness. I cannot say enough good things about Roots for Kids, please do go check it out and see for yourself. Ask to see the children’s work binders when you visit, you will see for yourself the superior quality of work at this program.
