First let me start off by saying if you are wanting a physician who is going to just run in and out, look for someone else. As a social worker I have had the privilege of working with him sharing mutual patients. He is very skilled not only in internal medicine but also infectious diseases, treatment of infections and wound care. Unlike many physician offices he spends time with his patients and is very thorough. If you have things you need to do and don’t like to wait, ask for an appointment the first appointment of the day or first appointment after lunch. I promise you that if he is running behind schedule it is not because he is taking a break or goofing off in his office. Either he has been called by the hospital with an emergency of a hospital patient or someone in the office is having some problems. Also remember that he is going to provide you the same care and treatment if you ever find yourself in the same position. For me personally, I contribute much of my positive health outcomes to Dr Hupert directly. I suffered a spinal cord injury and the recovery process went drastically wrong. After 6 reconstruction surgeries and a nasty infection I requested to see Dr Hupert for a consultation. It took almost a year on IV antibiotics and another year on oral antibiotics he has gotten me back to a full recovery.
