I like the crazy fried rice. Sitting here waiting for my food and he tells me to have a seat. When there are no customers waiting. Ok so I am reading the menu to see what else I want to try next time. Then I hate places that want to charge u 0.25 for each additional pack of ketchup, tarter sauce, hot sauce, etc. And they have there pricelist laid out on the counter. Really it cost you pennies for the packages maybe 10 cents is more reasonable. The food is good. I will still come here for the crazy fried rice n catfish and will just take my 4 quarters and buy me a bottle of my condiments!

Great tasting Chicken and sides with the Best deals and specials ever! Its nothing entirely too special, but if you’re ever hungry and in need of something fulfilling for a good price, then Lisa’s Chicken is the place to go.

This Lisa’s posts their phone number on the walls along their drive-thru to call-in orders as you wait. All because they can’t bother to fix their broken drive-thru speaker. Only thing is no one answers your call. This Lisa’s is located in a predominately large Catholic area and isn’t prepared with Fish on Fridays for regular and frequent customers. When these suggestions are passed to associates, they laugh with unconcern. Lisa’s on Riverside isn’t the same since what must have apparently been a management change for the worse.

Great upbeat service. Kind of a neighborhood place«where everybody knows your name». I was hungry and waiting on a client and thought what the heck. PLEASANTLY surprised. Fresh great food. I thought it would be greasy, but it wasn’t. Zero atmosphere but it actually gives the place a personality of its own. The pice is perfect too!

Cheap… the logic behind my 2 star rating vs a 1 star. Grabbed something here to take with me to work to have for dinner. Nasty… dry chicken, rubbery okra Will not chance the possibility that maybe they just had a bad day, first impressions…

Large servings. However to be a hood spot, the food was pretty generic tasting and bland. They don’t even make own tarter sauce.

I have eaten at Lisa’s many times, so many times that they know what I want when i walk in the door. 3 piece dark, fries, okra with sweet tea. Great food and nice people. I really enjoy the taste of the food, the jalapeño they include on combos and the price.

Well if you really want a cheap meal & good chicken this is the place. We got two meals &2 super big cokes for under $ 10.00 .These meals came with 2 side dishes, too. Not bad for a good deal.

FYI, it says cervasa on the building(and they have beer posters of latin chickas everywhere), but they do not sell beer anymore. I don’t get the appeal of this place(but I’m not a big fried chicken connoisseur either). People frequently go in and out of this place while I’m here(so someone must like it) yet I’m sitting here thinking it’s just OK. I think the price is probably a big factor(pretty reasonable prices on the combos), but other then that the food tastes pretty ordinary or bland. I would have given this place 3 stars for being as «middle of the road» as it is, but I have one big issue with this place. FOOD I CAN’T EAT. Yes,(at times) when I get the chicken tenders or the fried okra I get(on occasions) pieces of food that no one could possibly eat. Either I get good size pieces of cartilage in the chicken tenders, or I get an occasional piece of okra that feels like I’m chewing plastic(leathery). And it hasn’t been one visit that I’ve experienced this. So I end up going the safe approach and getting the chicken nuggets, and green beans(Geez… is this a stem in the green beans?) Anyhow, with a place like El Pollo Regio right across the street, I would recommend just stopping over there instead.
