Food is not as good as it used to be. Service is terrible. Seems like all the good servers aren’t there anymore– managers are rude– one of them is boisterous and has bad attitude. Used to come every week definitely not coming back anymore. If I could give 0.5 stars I would

The man working where you build your plate was very rude. He was rude about us putting sauce on the plate? Okay well I dont see a sign saying what to do. It’s confusing if you’ve never been here. So then the man who was rude then went to the cook to tell him about us. I’m guessing how«stupid» we are. the cook shook his head and looked at us. This place made me feel uncomfortable. and the employees do is stand around and chit chat. Our waiter didn’t check on us one time!!! Don’t go here.

I am a big fan of this place. You custom build your own plate so you can change it up as much or as little as you want. Never had a bad experience here.

Food was good. The tea is $ 3 and not really that good(overpriced). The bowls are decent size and filling.

It’s ok. That’s about all I have to say. Staff could use more training, but they were at least nice.

I recommend making your own bowl rather than choosing off the menu the stuff taste better, its been slow when i have gone but the service is okay. Staff could use a little more training.

They are known for building your own plate. If you’ve never been there before, it is totally confusing and you feel rushed because there’s people behind you. They need to fix their signs because you can’t read the flavors for the sauces. We were told oh on no you don’t pour the sauce in your bowl, you put them in these little containers. So ok, I think they are dipping sauces?! I got couple spicy ones and regular ones for the kids! Ah, no! At the end You hand the tray to them to cook! They don’t ask anything about the sauces you have chosen. We are very lucky they didn’t poor the spicy sauce on the kids dish. If you choose the build your own dish, have some knowledge about cooking.

I stopped by yesterday at 11 am. There weren’t many customer’s there. I sat in the bar area. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu. It was tasteless and dry. Honestly, it was the very worst Pad Thai I have had in my life. I thought about putting some ice tea in it to loosen it up. There was too much tofu and not enough vegetables. I was starving, but couldn’t get through half. After I ate the Pad Thai I needed a litter box to cleanse my palate. I won’t be back.

Every Genghis Grill is a little different and this one has a different way to get your protein — a server will scoop the meat for you instead of you getting your own protein. I actually ended up with more meat than I typically serve myself — this was a good thing! However, this process backs up the line to get your bowl ingredients. Aside from that, it is the typical Genghis Grill. Service was okay, I mean the server is just getting your drink and then checking in after you get your bowl — nothing complicated. We plan on eating here since it’s closer to home than the one on Western Center.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday, and we were greeted by a lady who told us she would be taking care of us. Before we took our seat, she took our drink order, and then tried to sell us appetizers(again, before we had taken our seats). We went ahead and ordered the edamame to start. Without going into too much detail, we felt very rushed. I finally had to tell her that we are not in a hurry so she would give us more time to look at the menu and decide what we wanted to do. Other than the service, the food was good. Such a great concept to be able to build your own bowl. It is easy to eat healthy here. I had a big bowl of vegetables with some chicken and various seasonings and sauce. Wonderful! I will be back to Genghis Grill, but I hope that we can have better service next time. It truly made me frustrated today…

Great food held back by lackluster service, a seemingly intentionally confusing pricing system, and overly tight seating.

Did not like the changes they have made. I am use to serving myself at the food bar. Did not like the selection of veggies. Didn’t have half of what others have. Watched them pick things out off people’s bowls before delivering them to the customer. Watched a very young and unprofessional manager chewing an employee out in front of all of the customers. I can say will not be coming back.

Service was great! Liz was really nice. Atmosphere seems like it could be more Asiany? Forks were dirty, but Liz quickly got us new ones. I heard the manager getting on to several employees during our visit — maybe he could’ve saved the negativity for a time away from guests.

Brand new Genghis Grill location in lake worth. Nice location in a fairly new strip. Just look for the Lowes and it’s in the same center. There’s a lot of things different about this Gg location that you won’t see at the others. I have eaten in GG in Dallas off 75 and lovers. And a newer GG in Frisco near stone briar. This location is by far the cleanest with most updated looking décor. It’s a very nice setting. The biggest difference I noticed at this location is how you pick your food for the bowls. My one gripe at GG is that the protein and sauce areas get pretty messy. A lot of customers usually reuse the tongs in different meats and spill sauce everywhere when mixing them. Here you have workers getting the meat and sauce for you so it eliminated that messy stuff. This in my book is a huge plus. Other then that the taste and service was really on par with the other locations I have been. I really hope they implement that service idea at other locations. Honestly it is much more sanitary. 5 stars for trailblazing with this new idea! They also have these touch pad ordering screens for drinks which is pretty cool and i never saw that at the Dallas location. Fresh Bok choy, delicious baby corn, and as much meat as you can stack in the bowl. Awesome!

This is new place in Lake Worth. It is laid out differently than the others that we frequent but they have 2 lines to build your bowl so moves pretty quickly. My son has been here several times since they have opened and said they were not very good at keeping the ingredients of the bowls separated on the grill. If you have food allergies, beware. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. Usually new restaurants take a while to get rolling but not this one. I love the Asian tacos, but this night I had the Thai street noodle bowl. It was good with just the right amount of spice and heat. When I was first looking at the menu the waitress was quick to recommend several things. I always like when an employee recommends something. I think this location is a winner. So nice not to have to drive across town anymore.

Good food, you get to pick what you want in your bowl, so if it sucks its pretty much your own fault. They just opened so everything is still brand new and they’re really trying to impress people, which is good, but the new will eventually wear off.
