If I could give no star at all I would. Terrible, terrible service!!! I ordered fries with my burger, never got them. Waitress didn’t even notice I never got them. Husband ordered more toast and never got the toast. After waiting 20 min for the toast we just said,“cancel the order”. Our friend ordered an over medium egg on his burger and it was cooked. Husband also ordered the special and asked if he could change the fries for onion rings and she said yes, comes back and tells him if he does that they are going to charge him $ 4 for the onion rings. Who does that? Waitress did say she was new and it was obvious because she didn’t know much of anything. I want the old Chubby’s back when it was in the old location. Smh!!!

Chubby’s is a lot of fun. They have a wide variety of unique burgers that taste great. They have the thick frozen glass beer mugs and a variety of draft beer. However they don’t have the local RAHR Brewery beer on draft. The outdoor porch is good for big parties.

Not very welcoming for people of color late at night. As soon as I entered, the restaurant became quiet and we were stared down by customers and employees until we left and all we wanted was a late night snack. This will be my first and last time here

Chubby’s does wonders for the soul when you need it. This is not the place to go if you’re concerned about trimming weight off for a swimsuit picture(look at the name!) ~ although the Cajun Chicken Salad can help you reach that goal if it’s needed. Go for the down-home feel and some of the most delectable, unassuming tastes that truly belong on a burger. The Frisco Burger with chili and grilled onions will deliver the nap you’ve been searching for. Cold, inexpensive beer and sports await your visit, as well as a quick and courteous staff. Live music, karaōke, and random benefits round out the package.

Went there for first time, they have nice patio area for music when it’s not too hot, excellent service from Skylar. Food was great, fresh, and the topping bar is a nice surprise! Good atmosphere, bar area kind of separate from dining area, good tvs, and I’d say ok for kids. Will be back!

This was my first trip to Chubbys. The burger was good. The atmosphere kinda laid back. It’s a place you can take yourself in jeans and flip flops if you just want to relax, have a beer, eat a good burger and have a relaxing evening! The service was great!

Why does this place not have 4 stars is beyond me. I don’t give out 5 stars unless something is basically perfect. The burgers(patty) themselves are very well done. Good amount of moisture and flavor. Not to mention that they have fresh vegetables to add on the burger… YOURPICK. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, JALAPEÑOS! It’s well priced for what you get IMO and they’ve got nice schooner prices as well. Get the Queso Burger

This place is always easy to get into for lunch. The Service is always good and the food hasn’t disappointed me yet. The motif is modern day garage sale seconds but gets the job done. I’ll continue to be a loyal customer.

This place looks like a shack. The atmosphere inside is kind of country. I was really excited to try the burger after the photos I saw on Unilocal. It was a disappointment. Way overdone and dry, be sure to ask for medium if you go. The fries were nothing special and the homemade potato chips were good, but not worth the$ 1.50 extra charge. They were out of Corona and tater tots. My husband and I both ended up with Dos Equis on draft and the beer wasn’t very cold. Pluses: free beans with you entrée and they were delicious and all burgers you dress yourself at the burger bar. All in all just average. Would go back and sit on the patio for the live music, but not the food.

The Chubby with Cheddar was cooked to PERFECTION!!! We also ordered a side of Fried Mushrooms and they were the best we have ever had and we travel far and wide in search of great shrooms. I usually take a photo to include but I couldn’t put that mouth-watering burger down long enough to snap a pic. Sorry! Our server Skylar did a great job and we wanted for nothing. I love coming here because it has the feel of a casual neighborhood place. Everyone is laid back and you can have a beer and hangout if that is your thing. They have a great patio for outside dining too! There’s lots of other items on their menu but I just can’t pass up their awesome build your own burger. Lip smackin’ good! This is not a «5 Star» restaurant: no white table linens here. However, when you cannot find fault with either the food or the service you have to call it right. Today they earned 5 stars!!!

Myself and a bunch of coworkers decided to go to Chubby’s for lunch. Since there were at least 8 of us, we called in our order ahead of time so it would be ready when we arrived. Imagine how pleasantly surprised we were when we walked in to find a table set up with our food already set out, each with a drink that was labeled with our names per the order. Not only that but not a single mistake was made and the food was still hot. At first I was a little upset because the portion of fries seemed really small… it didn’t matter. The burger was so huge I couldn’t even finish it. Loved the atmosphere and the service was perfect. I will definitely put Chubby’s on the regular lunch rotation! *4 stars because its a little pricey for my taste! But still worth it*

Food was okay and reasonably priced. But unfortunately, I have to agree with the reviewer that found the place dirty and unsanitary. It comes across as Hooters gone Country. Comes across as a honky-tonk dive kinda vibe. Plenty of other choices for me.

I’m giving Chubby’s two stars because I’m hopeful that they’ll step up their game. The first time I went there in summer of 2012 it was amazing! The green chile burger was off the chain I live close by and ordered it again a couple of weeks later to go. The vegetables they sent me home with were moldy. I decided that was an honest mistake and went back again for a family birthday in late 2012, hoping for another great green chile burger. Forty minutes later the waitress fessed up that she gave my burger to someone else on the patio. Mine finally arrived barely cooked and thrown together. I’m evidently a glutton for punishment and went back again, this time for a friend’s retirement party a couple of months ago. My once wonderful burger was greasy and the meat tasted old. I won’t go to Chubby’s again unless I have to for a family get-together. But if I do I hope they get their act together and deliver a good, juicy burger like they used to make. How hard can it be?

The Burgers are Wonderful! Full of flavor and hearty! I also LOVE the condiment bar area which has FREE beans! Great beer deals too! I enjoyed my time there and the wait staff was friendly. The food is Really good and served fairly quickly as well. I am always looking for good burger places and this one hit the spot! We have also had a few of their apps. Every time I have been there… it has been a great experience! :) You will LOVE these burgers! Oh and they DO have a buffalo chicken sandwich it is just not listed on the menu. It is AWESOME as well! :)

Chubby’s «hard to beat» burger was in fact quite easy to beat. The burger was lacking in seasoning and taste, but had plenty of grease. The fries were homemade which was a plus, but again everything was missing something. Salt maybe? The service wasn’t very friendly or attentive. For a $ 10 burger I expected a little bit more. Whataburger would of been better and cheaper. I left still hungry and a bit grouchy.

So it seems I am on a burger tear of late. Going to having M&O’s version of the Bleu Cheese Burger a few weeks back, I mentioned to The Girlfriend that Chubby’s was just as good, or pretty close. So we came back to Chubby’s to test my hypothesis. The great thing about Chubby’s are the portions. You’ll get one massive patty and a large portion of fries too, which are quickly becoming my favorite fries in Fort Worth. This time around we tried the Chubby Chips, their home made potato chips, and if you are looking to indulge yourself but want something a little lighter than fries, then the chips are the way to go. Still, note, they are aptly named. Having the Bleu Cheese burger again, I definitely conclude it is almost as good as M&O’s version. I do love at Chubby’s where you grab all the add-ons yourself: onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, sauces, etc. Get a great burger and then you get to make it just how you want it. Plus, it helps the staff get the burger out faster to you, so all the better! I do not see any issues with the new location and I think it is definitely an improvement, a bit more space to be had. We are quickly becoming spoiled in Fort Worth with all the quality burger joints popping up. Growing up here, the traditional locations were Tommy’s, Kincaid’s, Fred’s, John’s(now Dutch’s) and Charlies. Those are all still great, but now we have the likes of M&O, MML, Chubbys, and Rodeo Goat to add to the mix. So view it as the way I do, go to whichever one is closest to you! In that case, should you be in southwest Fort Worth, go hit up some Chubby’s. While I do think M&O is still the best(I think their burger sauce gives them the photo-finish), Chubby’s is a solid second.
