The service was ok but the food wasn’t worth what we were paying for so I don’t think we will be back there anytime soon!

I just want my check. Seem to be not interested in serving their customers. First time here and won’t rush to come back.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with food and customer service. Three people in our party got their food HOURS after the rest of us did, the waitress printed up our bills, not once but THREE times incorrectly, and we never had the manager say a word to us. To make things worse, we could hear the manager yell at the waitress right by our table. This rude manager also demanded that we pay for three bills that were never finished correctly. Good luck. My «medium» burger was also charred to the max. If this bar has any chance of survival, I highly suggest new management.

Passed by here several times before deciding to stop in on a Wednesday night. Best life decision I have made in a long time!!! Erin was my bartender and she has a passion for bourbon that is second to none. She’s like a fire breathing, bourbon drinking unicorn. Super awesome. Speaking of super awesome, build your own burger for $ 5 on Wednesday is a deal and a half. The tempura green beans won’t disappoint and deviled eggs were solid. Protein and bourbon. I’m also a burger fiend and their pretzel bun is right up there with the best I’ve had. The bourbon selection is solid, the food is great and the wait staff and management were amazing. Plus they had some karaōke if you dig that thing. I give this place 5 Freddie Mercurys out of 5 Somebody to Loves.

Went here for the first time on a Friday night. Not a large crowd but a decent amount of people. It’s a very nice bar and they play live music on weekends. They had a $ 4 Jack Daniels special so I got a shot of Jack Honey along with a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel beer. The bourbon barrel is a great choice for a stronger beer. For food I had the salmon burger on brioche with Gouda, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, roasted peppers, and citrus mayo. With a side of maple bacon mac & cheese. The burger was GREAT! The Mac & cheese was below average. Prices are reasonable and the service was really good. The Mac & cheese is what stopped me from giving 6 stars.

The vibe is old school so it’s kinda 90’s throw-back punk. So that was nice and nostalgic, BUT also bled into the service a bit which seemed aloof. Cool for the 90’s vibe but not so cool for the ‘service’ aspect of the experience. Beer selection was underwhelming, not enough IPA’S, which is surprising because there are so many great ones. For food, I built a burger which I based on menu items, however I don’t eat red meat which was a bit difficult here. I heard the fries were superb, but when I got them I had ordered them with a sauce that thought would come on the side, but came on top instead, so I ordered an additional dipping sauce to make the experince of ‘fries’ whole. All the components were good or decent but as a whole fell short of the mark.

This place looked awesome on the inside and out but looks is nothing when you can’t eat! Went to this place on a Sunday at 8:34PM they said they were no «Longer» serving food meanwhile the door says 10PM! Place was filled with other guests, guess they were just drinking… The people makes you feel you’re in the wrong place and the hours says 10PM that’s nearly 2 hours before closing; wish I could have tried it…

Can’t say enough good things about Bar 145– the food is spectacular. The build your own burger option makes my world complete. Burgers are always cooked perfectly, interesting toppings, and the fries are crispy & delicious. Their drinks are great, lots of interesting cocktails to choose from & a great beer selection. Is it Spring yet? I can’t wait for more patio fun!

For a bourbon bar I thought a whiskey and ginger ale or a Manhattan would be a good start for a cocktail… I was wrong. Ginger Ale was flat and Manhattan wasn’t made correctly. We went later in the evening and the staff didn’t seem interested in being there either, so we left since the kitchen also closed before we had a chance to order food. I’ll try this place on another day in the future.

Finally got around to trying this place since it opened in spring of 2015. Definitely will be going back. The atmosphere is trendy, nicely decorated and a lively environment. We visited on a Friday around 6PM… no wait for two, but the place was near full and people were arriving that would be waiting. We opted to be seated at the bar and were not disappointed. The bar is well stocked with 12 taps of beer and MANY craft brew choices by bottle or can. And not to mention the bourbon offerings… nice. Plenty of cocktail choices too. Our server was very friendly and offered plenty of suggestions from the menu. They have several appetizer offerings and a few salads. But the focus of the menu is the burger, several options or you can build your own. The server shared that all the ingredients are brought in fresh each day, and locally sourced. Our beverages consisted of a Two Brothers Dog Day Lager for me, and a Peach Cosmo for the better half. The beer was crisp and refreshing and served perfectly chilled. The Cosmo was not too sweet, just the way she asked. Our appetizer was the Bavarian Pretzel bits. These are balls of dough deep fried and served with a side of Honey Dijon/Cheddar dipping sauce. They were nicely flavored but a little greasy from the frying. Our burger was the Patty Melt of Sorts(yep, that’s what it’s called) paired with the truffle fries. It arrived promptly and was perfectly prepared, med rare just as we asked(it’s so rare that a placed gets it right). The bread is a toasted sourdough(kind of like a ciabatta thickness) and was wonderful. Caramelized red onions also were perfect. We both enjoyed this burger very much and look forward to trying it again. The fries were flavorful as well, fresh cut style, with a hint of truffle butter. Hope that this is a helpful review to you, will update it after trying them again… enjoy

Bar 145 has a great vibe. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the build your own burger. The truffle fries were great. I felt the pricing was reasonable. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We plan to go back.

I was really hoping this was going to be awesome. Let’s face it, there aren’t a lot of places like this in Fort Wayne. A different spin on bar food that is SO welcomed. They have great ideas and the menu descriptions are great. I wanted to try everything. The Flat Bread appetizer,(which was recommended) was visually pleasing, but just tasted like bread. No flavor. After our Kobe burger and open faced salmon sandwich arrived, I realized the issue. A lot of ideas, well thought out… Poor execution. The food was bland and boring. The truffle oil on the burger was non existent, the salmon was covered in a bland sauce that made the while dish«heavy». The truffle oil fries were over powered with rosemary… Maybe they are still learning their ways, maybe it will improve, but don’t expect to be impressed.

My first visit turned out to be twice in one day. I started at the bar with a Stella and pub chips. Service 5* Stella was perfectly cold in the correct glass and priced well. Pub chips were tasty but the portion was a little on the light side for the price. Later I returned with my wife to try a burger and bourbon. I ordered my staple double of makers neat. The pour wasn’t doing anyone anyone any favors but the price was decent. The burger was fantastic. I went with medium rare Kobe beef and checked a ton of boxes. It was cooked medium rare+ if I am going to be picky. The bacon option could use an extra piece for the price. Overall it was a solid burger. The fried brussel sprouts are tasty, but best when they are first delivered to the table. The fries were great. I liked the rosemary but my wife wasn’t a fan. Good portion and perfectly cooked. Overall the food was 4.5÷5. I’ll be back. How to take it to the next level: –Décor seems independent of the experience. It might work when a band is playing but seemed random at 2:00 on a Saturday. Embrace the subtle bourbon culture. –Push the extensive adult beverage selection. Maybe offer a 145 flight. There was not an emphasis on the bourbon… Or any of the beverages. –Maintain pricing and food quality. –TV’s at the bar seemed a little high and the bar stools seemed a little low for my 6’3″ frame.

Tried it out for the first time today. Used to be an Outback. Love the décor. Very open and nice colors. Also, I know it’s small, but I liked the monogrammed chairs. Found the floor to be a bit slick but that might be from the humidity. They have outdoor seating also, which looked nice. Plenty of TV’s around to watch, and a stage. Also the bar looked nice. One thing that was a tad annoying was the lighting. Some of the lights were very bright and positioned in a way that shined in our eyes. This is minor though and not something that would prevent us from coming. Food Appetizer — Bavarian Pretzel Bites — Average. There weren’t that many and the pretzels themselves were somewhat bland single bites. The cheese sauce, however was very good. Wife had a drink consisting of sangria. She said it was okay, but not the best one she’s had. Meals — We both did the make your own stack option, which we thought was very nice. I had a medium Kobe on a pretzel with blue cheese, maple bacon, sweet chili, and garlic aioli. Wife had same except smoked gouda, an egg, and some other garnishes. The burgers were spectacular. Cooked very well, juicy, and delicious. The only thing we needed was more napkins. For sides, I had the mac & cheese, which, although somewhat al dente, was very tasty. My wife had the fries that were terrific. Especially loved the dipping sauce that came with it and the ranch we ordered. Service — Good for the most part. We had to ask for a napkin a few times because our server forgot, but other than that very friendly. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we look forward to going back and trying some of the other things.

Let’s just say I will not be spending my money here again. First off– took our waiter almost 10 minutes to greet the table– just as I was walking up to the host stand to check in… AND they weren’t even overly busy. My dad had to ask our server 3 times for sweetener for his ice tea. We all chose to build our own burgers. After a loooooong wait they arrived– mine not as I ordered. It got remade quickly which was a plus but at this point I was over Bar 145. We didn’t complain since we did the BOGO free burgers– but definitely tipped on the discounted total. I have heard the bar and bands aspect is better but I am reluctant to spend any more money here.

Decided to go here for their grand opening special«buy one get one free burger». Service was good — thought it was odd that they switched us to a different waitress without any explanations. They have a selection of food and you can make your own burger. I made my own kobe(extra $ 5) burger and it wasn’t too bad. I think the sauce made it better(bourbon and red pepper aioli). My bf ordered the same thing with different sauces and he asked one of his sauce to be on the side. He thought it tasted plain. We did not tried any appetizers or drinks. Overall, this place was alright. Nothing too fancy about it. If you want to grab a quick bite — go for it but don’t expect it to be too amazing!

Enjoyed the meal and the service. Fish & chips were crispy cooked with tender fish inside and caper tarter sauce. We also tried the Simpleton(delish mushrooms) and the Patty melt burger(good messy). Love the glass garage doors open to the patio with umbrellas(which, yeah!!!, were finally needed as the sun appeared today). Had beers — will try the bourbon next time.

The«build your own burger» is yummy !! It was my first time here and the experience was nice. I’ll have to come back another time and try other things to review about. But for now, I’ll give this place 5 stars!
