Not impressed. Once again, another stylist that either overbooks or accepts late clients. The lady who helped me (I’ll leave her nameless) was pleasant but not friendly. There’s no receptionist so you have to walk to the stylist and let them know you’ve arrived — how rude is that for the client currently in the chair? Plus she was rushing around trying to accommodate her clients which is nice but proper planning can prevent that. However, all her clients left with their hair looking good so she’s good at what she does.
Oh and there was a homeless lady out front on a bench that was asking for change. Just too much going on for me.

Don’t be put off by the area that this hair salon is in. The women within know their hair inside and out and will give you top notch service.
I booked with Jarae and was a little annoyed that my appointment started late but was not really all that surprised. She was professional and answered all my questions about coloring and natural hair.
She was kind enough to test out the color before just fully applying it in case of potential damage to my natural locks. When she was happy with the result she proceeded fully. After that it was just a matter of waiting.
During the time she was doing my hair, she was super knowledgeable and answered any and all questions I had (yeah, I’m that kind of customer). It’s been over a month now since I had my natural hair dyed and it’s still in tact, and actually was extremely soft after she first dyed it. She used a lot of conditioner to help stop it from drying out. So far she’s the only local person I’d trust to dye (with success!) my natural hair.
