Just had this for lunch for the first time. Will definitely go back. Wife had the chicken parm crema, and I had the pasta trio. The bread was great. Pasta was homemade and delicious. Good size is portions. Price was reasonable. Waitress was great.

Best Italian in Fort Smith. Their bread alone is worth going for. I love the hole in the wall vibe and local flavor feel. The food is so fantastic.

Great food and great service. Try the Hot Chick, it’s very good and different than your usual pizza. I will definitely come back.

Giving them 3 stars because i like them in general — the bread and dipping sauce is good and their tirimisu is awesome — but they’ve raised their prices over the last year and its not as worth it anymore(compared to, for example olive garden, their portions are small compared to what they charge). Their food is usually great but can give you serious stomach upset if you catch them on a bad day(had an unfortunate valentines day incident one year). Id also skip the appetizers — besides the bread and oil. Wasnt impressed by the brushetta and they give you like 5 mozzarella sticks for $ 6. Overall — good but not frequenting too often and I think olive garden is a better deal. The staff has always been really courteous and I have no complaints there.

My coworkers and I went to dinner and had a great time. Food was spot on! Service was wonderful! Prices were great compared with what ya got. Better then Taliano’s(down the road) that’s for sure, we went there the night before and they were a major flop. Joe’s fullfilled our Italian craving!

The prices are seriously ridiculous. They charge you for everything. My boyfriend and I ate here and our ticket was $ 70+, and that’s without dessert. The food tastes plain. Regular. Something I could’ve made at home much better. My boyfriend got the seafood pasta and there wasn’t any seafood at all. The food could use more authenticity. I honestly think Olive Garden tastes better. The bread and oil is really good though. And tip, don’t get the fruit punch. It tastes like cough syrup. I felt like I could’ve made a much better Italian meal at home for less than $ 70+. I came here when I was younger, I’d say 5 – 6 years ago and the food was much better then. Had a lot of flavor, was absolutely delicious and it was less expensive. I would beg my mom to go here and as a returning customer after so many years, the business doesn’t hold up to what it use to be. I’d say your best bet is to go to Olive Garden where they have better deals and tastier food.

Overpriced for what it is. Very distracting trying to enjoy a nice meal when you have two TVs playing random shows. They love to nickle and dime, you want to share a plate or have any modifications it will seriously cost you. Bread was very good, main course was just ok.

Joe’s appreciates all the positive feedback, but we would like to make clear that outside of being friends we are in no way associated with Frank’s in Van Buren or any other restaurants. Thanks again for your business.

I grew up eating home made Italian food(my father’s full blooded) and after discovering Joe’s yesterday I felt like I was eating something from my childhood. My dish was full of good quality ingredients and the lemon wine sauce was delicious. Will be visiting again when I next crave Italian food.

I try to eat here every visit to ft. smith. It reminds me of Italian recipes in Ohio. The spaghetti is first rate and I like the tomato based house dressing. Try lunch specials if $ are on your mind My favorite is chicken arrabiata. Since I’m traveling alone I have yet to try the pizza.

The prices do not coincide with the originality or taste of the food. Not anything impressive. As a family of 3 we ordered a large pizza, an adult pasta and child’s spaghetti that cost us over $ 60. The service was not bad but the food is not worth a second trip.

Joe’s is a local«chain»(by chain, I mean his brother Frank owns an identical restaurant in Van Buren called«Frank’s»). With Italian food, there are two levels… budget(Olive Garden type) and high-end(the ones with Italian names and cloth napkins). Joe’s is in the budget category, and one of the best in that category. It certainly blows Olive Garden away. The food is good and it’s easy on the wallet. If you want to eat ultra cheap(for lunch, say) the stromboli is delicious and, at about $ 5, not pricey. I love the pasta bakes and spaghetti varieties. The bread and oil you’re given as an appetizer is fantastic. Just don’t fill up on it. Joe’s is great for a dinner withe the family or even a date(they have wine now!) without breaking the bank. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that.
