Jing Du, Cleveland Ave., Ft. Myers, FL, Here is some chit chat and my 2 cents on the food. I am a beef and potato guy. Sometime I like fish bait with the wasabi… This is a good place for you Sushi fans and chinese buffet folks. I was impress with all the different sushi offerings. 25 + …Plus pick and peel shrimp. And mussels galore. I tried to sample a bit of it all. Hard to do. But fun. They also have a hibachi and chinese buffet. This is a Japanese run joint. So the chinese offering is a hit or miss. I was surprise I found the fried chicken wings tasty and moist.(Most places are bland and dry) The noodles, rice and soup are a bit above par. The price is above par too…11 Bucks for lunch. Though very much worth it. Nice atmosphere pretty place. LOTS of choices all FRESH and tasty. Folks are great. Oh a nice dessert bar healthy and bad for you. LOL

Been going there from day one When they first open the food was much better large shrimp and better food. Now the foods better than average still much better than most.

Its a 4star Chinese/Japanese buffet. We came for a quick lunch on our way to Naples. The place is on average size for buffet. They are super busy with a lot of local folks coming here. Food is fresh and service is prompt and quick. The Japanese food selection is on an average aide. We would prefer a bit of more variety on sushi and rolls. There is not much on fresh salad sides. They seemed to cater more, at least during lunch hours for Chinese food selection. However, that could be due to the local market demand, since there were a long line to the Chinese food stand. Overall, its a good place to a quick«i am full» stop

Largest selection of ready to eat sushi. This is not one of those all you can eat but you can only order 2 at the time. This is an Asian buffet with mostly Sushi selection. There are some hot food choices a-la Chinese buffet but that’s not what this place is about. This is for sushi binge eating while not breaking your wallet. Yes, it is not a 5 star fish but it is still fresh, taste good and for the money, fantastic ;) Décor is average China buffet and so is service. It is clean and over 30 plus visits for lunch and dinner, I never got sick lol… that’s the best endorsement I can give to an establishment like this!!!

My husband and I just left January 20th, 2016. We come here a couple of times a year. This place always has hot food, clean tables, tenitive waitressing staff. Reasonably priced buffet & the hot Saki my husband loves. Will definitely be back.

Exceeded my expectations by a mile. Been wanting to try this place for a while, but wasn’t expecting it to be that good considering it’s a buffet. Excellent quality sushi and a lot of good choices at that. Sushi chefs were on top of things, making sure no plates were left empty. Lot of great non-sushi items available as well. Wait staff kept the emptied plates cleared and the drinks filled. For the price, it’s well worth it. Definitely will be back.

If you like fresh sushi and good food, this is the place to visit. Plenty of space for seating. Someone told not to go eat here, but I went with my instinct and WOW! I enjoy sushi very much. Plus you don’t feel guilty after eating. I will definitely be back again and again…

I honestly feel sick. Like really sick. Not from eating so much because the foods good. But because this food is gross and I decided to eat it anyways. Don’t come here

Food can be a little on the iffy side. The atmosphere is inviting and actually pretty decent. An average oriental dining experience. Meals that are supposed to be classic in oriental dining like the steamed mushrooms are their best eat.

Very clean place, sushi is publix grade, nothing spectacular. Noodles too greasy, but dumplings taste great. Overall I would come back.

I’ve never been a big fan of buffets, but this is such a great place to eat. Great service, good lunch and dinner prices, and good food, especially the sushi! They have a very large selection

The sushi selection for a buffet was awesome and extensive and included sashimi which you rarely see on a buffet. And the buffet includes all your ‘standard’ Chinese — buffet type fare. Very reasonably priced and one of the best Chinese buffets I’ve encountered. Recommended.

Two words: Jing Du-Du. I don’t do buffets, but me and my dining partner were starved and thought we’d give it a shot because the ratings on Unilocal seemed reasonable and it was closer than our other option. What follows may be a no-brainer for most. In case you’re in my metaphorical boat: The food is edible if you’re looking for a quick fill-up; however, it’s over-priced for its quality. Bad food is bad food, and being more inexpensive than most meals in the area doesn’t make up for this. Me and my dining partner were most concerned with the contamination-nightmare hibachi station, where raw meats were positioned next to raw veggies, and seepage from ladles and other respective meat-juice covered utensils was surely happening. The dumplings were beef filled – presumably the pink slime beef from your local quality discount meats store.(Pork, please) If you’re in the mood for sushi, go elsewhere – unless you can settle for 90% rice and flavorless seafood. Eat at your own risk(hence Jing Du-du).

I gave up eating at all you can eat restaurants years ago. When I met a friend who wanted to buy me dinner with limited funds, I chose Jing Du. I was extremely surprised, with their sushi presentation and the fresh raw Oyesters, & shrimp was a complete surprise. I live nearby and watched this restaurant begin and never considered because of my bias against buffet restaurants. I will be making a regular appearance for lunch for the sushi & raw bar

First time coming here on Saturday & exceeded my expectation. This place is Mecca of seafood ! If your like me that love salmon, there a plate full of raw salmon . Also hot buffet was Eh, ok. I recommend this place . Now I need to convince my girlfriend to come here with me and try it(non seafood fan). I hope you enjoy this buffet like a hungry fat kid eating his plate lol.

My family and I were fortunate enough to have found this place during our vacation. For the price of $ 13, no one can really complain about the amount of seafood and meat available. For the salmon eaters like my mom and oyster eaters like my dad, it’s heaven! Well, on the other side of the coin, there is a reason it is $ 13. The quality of food is not the best, and the fish is pretty tasteless just like other Unilocalers have mentioned. But if you let me pick between this and typical Chinese takeout, this will win big time.

Typical Chinese buffet. Service was fine nothing special. Food was a below avg as sushi fell apart, sashimi were cut into chunks never had chunky sashimi, hot food had no taste, didn’t try hibachi grill. You get what you paid for so for $ 13.75 you get a bunch of below avg food but that’s buffet. Oh desserts were good. Luv the square shaped coffee cake n sponge cake roll.
