A friend and I mistakenly decided to check out this place on our lunch break. We saw the restaurant was under new ownership so we swung by. We ordered a Cali Chicken sandwich and a Roasted chicken sub. To our disappointment, the sandwiches were makeshift at best and were greatly lacking of any meat(we each received ONE slice of chicken per sandwich). On top of everything we each paid $ 10 with taxes to essentially consume lettuce on two pieces of bread. The best part of our meals by far were the Lays chips that were included in the meal. Thanks Lays!

I LOVE Riddlez for breakfast or lunch. Delicious and healthy meals, on budget and in a timely fashion with sweet, friendly service. Was there something else needed? It’s a convenient, attractive location a few hundred feet from Broward’s Main Library, parks and more.

I had the clam chowder soup and the Italian sandwich… both were good. This is a very small, walk-in restaurant with a limited seating inside, but you can utilize the picnic tables outside. I would go back.

Riddlez Café bills itself as an upscale café that takes pride in serving only the highest quality foods, in a cheerful upbeat environment, for your enjoyment. It is a little bit of an oversell. This is basically a five table sandwich shop at best, which happens to offer some salads, a breakfast menu, a dinner menu, and a catering option. The place really is built to service the local offices and their lunch needs, which is why this place really is a sandwich and salad lunch place. The sandwiches are served half or full size, with your choice of several types of bread. The sandwiches can be served cold or warmed up by panini press. The sandwiches come with a choice of potato chips, potato salad, or corn salad. The menu is not particularly inventive, with the standard variations of roast beef, turkey, chicken, and the like. I had a warm vegetable sandwich with herb cream cheese, served on what I think was a multigrain bread. The vegetables were served warm and the bread not bad, although not really pressed enough to make me even think it actually went into the panini press. The herb cream cheese tasted more like mayonnaise and was so heavy on the sandwich that I had to scrap it off. I did enjoy the corn salad, which was a nice mix of flavor and texture. One of the members of my group had the turkey and brie sandwich. He found it good and liked that the brie was served warm. I don’t know if I am running back. It is just a sandwich shop at best in my mind and not really built for walk-in business given the limited seating. I will certainly give it another try because I sort of deserved what I got for ordering a vegetable sandwich. PS, can Riddlez Café please do a better job of selecting what goes on the TV. You make this a focus on your website, then you should at least delivery what you say. There are two in the tiniest of restaurants and both had on what I can only guess was the Independent Film Channel given the actors in the movie were total unknowns and the director kept going with slanted camera shots and quick cutting. The website says the comedy channel would be on(«no boring news channels here), but this movie was far from funny. PSS, do you know why they call the place Riddlez Café… because«We have solved the riddle that pops into your head each day; «What should I eat for _______?» Really? Well riddle me this Riddlez Café. What gets bigger the more you take away? The hole this place could be digging if it continues to focus more on the concept than on the execution.
