Fusion & Flavors has either moved or gone out of business as they are no longer here.

This place has good food but it seems like it is always closing early. Why on earth would you close for dinner at 7:30 or 8pm? Even when we do make it before closing, they always warn us «the kitchen is closing in 15 mins». Just bizarre. Think they’d do more business if they were open regular business hours! Location is also a bit sketch(and hard to find), and it wasn’t the cleanest inside either. Just ok. Think there are other Peruvian spots that are worth eating at more than this place. Shame because the food is good!

Great food. Amazing flavors with incredible fusions as the name says it. Clean place. A great place to eat and relax.

I tried this restaurant with a certificate. Even with the discount, it was not worth it. The service was fair and they were out of certain foods. We were the only two in the restaurant. The server seemed confused when we asked her questions. There is free parking in front of the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is very bare. The menu is very small. Other Peruvian places have more options and better food and service. I would not return to this restaurant.

Had a great fish ceviche and then chicken saltado and green tallarines with skirt steak. Food was delicious and will certainly repeat very soon!

Small place nothing fancy but food was good. The lomo saltado was super tasty and so was the seafood ceviche. Will return ;)

Flavors are correct in every dish… Had the vuelve de la vida. Fresh, spicy, with the right amount of lime… Next up was the lomo saltado lunch special… It was tasty, cooked properly The homemade lemonade was flavorful and not overpowering … You could tell someone took the time to make this by hand I will most certainly return to try other dishes… Such as the chaufa

When we came in there were no other patrons, so I was a bit skeptical. We were barely greeted when we went inside. However, the food was delicious! We had as an appetizer Choros a la Chalaca, which are cold half shell green lipped mussels with salsa criolla(Peruvian style pico de gallo). They were fresh and zesty. My boyfriend had Lomo Saltado, stir fried steak with tomatoes and onions, over rice with French fries. More or less Peru’s national dish. I had the Pollo a la Pimienta, a seared chicken breast with a creamy black pepper sauce over rice with maduros, sweet plantains. Both entrees were prepared a la minute and tasted just they way we expected. The dishes even matched the pictures of the food on the walls. The only reason the place didn’t receive 5 stars from me is because the server/hostess appeared indifferent to our arrival and meal almost entirely. She seemed to perhaps be a family member corralled into familial duty at the family restaurant. She had some weird tv show on very loud after we sat down. She took our order, deposited our drinks, brought our food, then the check. No visits for refills or to check up. She gave us the check before asking if we wanted anything else, like maybe dessert. This is what leads me to believe she was not trained for this particular task. Even so, the food was great and I’d definitely go back, maybe for take out next time.

What a pleasant surprise. We went out looking for our first Peruvian meal. We’ve had dinners prepared by Peruvian chefs and were always impressed with their results. But never Peruvian food. As such, I can’t judge how Peruvian the food is. We started with a fish ceviche split between 2 of us. Then a skirt steak and the chickarron de pescada. Ceviche we know and this was one of the best we’ve ever had. More marinating time than a typical ceviche and a superb blend of fish and marinade. The skirt was also quite different in that it was slow cooked then finished off at a higher heat. A lovely consistency. The chickarron was superb. A perfect blend of spices, sauce and a nice piece of fish, deep fried but still delicate. The rice was cooked perfect. Way better than the rice served in oriental and Indian restaurants around Ft Laud. For $ 40 one of the nicest meals we’ve had in the area. We will definitely go back. Restaurants like this put most of the high end Ft Laud restaurants to shame. Perhaps the ambience is not there and the cuts are not prime. But the cooking, the balance and the use of spices puts another nail in our coffin of high end restaurants around here. 4 ½ stars if it were possible. Go. If you enjoy good cooking you won’t be disappointed.

I found this place through and was pleasantly surprised at this find. I probably never would have ventured to this place! I’ve never had Peruvian food before and I absolutely fell in love. I loved the complementary Cancha(Peruvian Popcorn) that they bring to the table. I ended up ordering the soup, which I could tell was made with evaporated milk and low quality fish but was good none the less. I also got the Ceviche, which was pretty good. I was on the fence about ordering the dessert but the waitress convinced me. She said it was made by a local baker and it was really good so I decided on the Crocante de Lucuma and was not disappointed. It was very, very good. I definitely would frequent this place if I were closer.

Best Lomo Saltado in South Florida. The meat is tender and the sauce is perfect. Not too salty. Daniella is friendly and attentive.

Let me start by saying that the food is 4 stars. I had a ceviche and it was delicious. Generous portions, authentic flavors. The waitress was very nice. What forced me to lower the rating was that I visited Fusion & Flavors with my husband on a Friday evening. Being this our dinner date night we were expecting something different. We were the only ones there. The TV was on some European soccer match. The restaurant doesn’t offer beer/wine. Moreover, it was overly lit… I kind of felt like I was in a grocery store. So I guess this would be a perfect lunch spot during the week. Somewhere to get a good, quick bite to eat. Nothing fancy. Maybe I’ll come back and do another review. But for now, I’m sticking to my 3 stars.

I eat here 2 – 3 times a week, and am never disappointed. Daily specials are reasonably priced, and the staff is helpful and friendly in every way. The ceviche is great, as well as the pollo/lomo saltado. All seafood is always fresh, and never overcooked. I’m a fan of the chicken marsala, and the talliarin saltado… but no matter what you order you can’t go wrong here. Two thumbs Up!

Highly anticipated the ceviche per Unilocal reviews. Went for dinner last night at 8:30 p.m. Walked in to an empty restaurant. Asked to be seated for dinner. Told unable because they were closed. At 8:30 p.m. With this kind of service, no wonder it was empty.

Came by again for the ceviche … still the best one in my book. We tried the ceviche at Darpur(had to use up a gift certificate) and were sorely disappointed. This place once again renewed our zest for ceviche. Anybody know where I can get that crunchy, fat, corn that they serve?

The fresh squeezed lemonade here is the best I’ve ever had. We also ordered an Inca Cola to share because all of the regulars seemed to be drinking it with their meals. It’s very sweet. Josh ordered the Aji de Gallina and I ordered the Chaufa Fried Rice with chicken. Both were phenomenal! We actually ended up switching half way through the meal because we liked both dishes so much!

The atmosphere is quaint and filled with locals, as the food came out I was delighted by all the flavors, Aji de Gallina was amazing, so creamy and the chicken was perfectly tender. Job well done.

Stopped in for lunch with wife and stepdaughter yesterday, and we were very pleased with the food. We shared a causa con pollo(around $ 7), which was one of the better causas we have had in Florida. The sauce that was drizzled on and around the potato cake was not typical of what I have had on other causas and it was deliciously spicy(but not too much) and flavorful. The chicken salad inside tasted freshly made. My wife and I shared their vuelve a la vida(around $ 8), which was very similar to a leche de tigre in that it was basically ceviche served in a glass with the juice from the ceviche. The fish was fresh and it tasted very good. I can also confirm that it helped subside the previous night’s hangover, which leche de tigres are supposed to do. Finally, we had the chaufa rice with beef($ 11.99), which is Peruvian-style fried rice. It was a nice size portion, excellently prepared and tasted great. The restaurant is a little small and cramped, but it’s above-average Peruvian food and some of the best you can get in Fort Lauderdale. You will likely have to go to Miami to find something better. My wife says she wants to return again soon, and she was born and raised in Lima, so if that’s not a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is…
