Great atmosphere, right along the water. Happy hour goes until 7 and they have excellent appetizers. The food could have been better I suppose, my fried fish was a bit over fried if I’m being picky. Would definitely go again and try more.

Went for brunch. The mimosas were flowing. The food however, was not. After the first hour with no food, we asked about it and the server literally said he had no idea when or if it was coming out. We asked to speak to the manager. He told us he had 3 cooks call out sick and the kitchen was backed up. He could have been more polite, but we were definitely not the first table to complain. In the 3 hours we were there, the only thing to come out was the fish dip, which was great. The manager comped about half of our drinks to make up for the long wait, but didn’t bother to tell the incoming customers that there was a delay in service. I’m giving two stars because we had to leave to go get lunch.

Checked this place out after Shooters had a long wait next door. Was pleased with the scenery and drinks at first, then it started. We were told our appetizer order would come out«some time» and after 50 minutes I approached the staff and asked to speak to the manager. The owner was sent over and explained that he had 3 kitchen staff call out today and continued to discuss the issues he had without ever apologizing. It wasn’t until I continued to discuss the other issues we had that he finally apologized and offered to buy a round, but not before he complained about my complaining and said he «didn’t have time» for it. This doesn’t begin to describe the owner’s complete lack of basic customer service skills. Needless to say, only one of our appetizers came out after an hour(fish dip mind you) and after an hour and a half we had no other food. We left and went to Bokampers. Wait staff was good and apologetic but the owner needs to check himself and hire a proper manager while he stays in the office way in the back and doesn’t interact with customers.

Excellent ribs, great margaritas, fabulous music, and exceptional service. Ask for Jill, she has spunk, personality, and will make your visit enjoyable. As if sitting along the intracoastal isn’t enjoyable enough.

Found on Unilocal and decided to give it a shot for Happy Hour. We were greeted at the door by two very friendly and welcoming staff members. We found a seat near the water… What a View! Ordered drinks and enjoyed the beautiful evening. We shared a clam chowder soup. It was very good… not great but still good. I had the chicken blt, which was really good. Nicely cooked and loved the avocado on it. Everything tasted very fresh. Service was excellent. And the prices were extraordinarily reasonable. This is not fine dining, but they don’t claim to be. I recommend and will return.

So when you walk in you’re like«Oh…this is probably going to suck.» Wrong! Their all day happy hour on Sunday was so much fun. We stayed forever and our bill was super cheap. The food was really good too. We had the wraps. View was gorgeous too. Check it out.

Arrived by Water Taxi and this was highly recommended by the other passengers onboard. Now for the good news it is clean and brightly decorated in tropical colors. You feel you have been transported to the islands. The menu looked like all pre pared items nothing that was actually made on the premises so we had drinks instead. I had a frozen strawberry daiquiri and my husband a margarita. He said his was too sweet so he switched to frozen margaritas instead. Great place for drinks and to watch the boats going by on the waterway.

To all the karaōke haters! This place Is AWESOME !!! If you really judging a place just because they have karaōke singers or the karaōke people was ear piercing, it’s just like adding water to a flood. And some people do sing bad. That’s true tho. We really enjoyed our first experience here, loved the wings, and the fact that is next to the water and not overpriced, is a plus. Really good service, and lovely ambience. We loved it. Don’t let us down :)

I was somewhat impressed for the first 10 minutes until the karaōke kicked in. It was so ear piercing I couldn’t hear anyone at my table. The food was good but as the restaurant got busier the service got worse. I don’t like chasing my waiter and all I did was try to track this guy down. My suggestion: Stop by the bar for a beer and then move on…

DONOTCOMEONKARAOKENIGHT! Unless you like not to hear the person sitting right in front of you and repeating yourself 5 times. Some good singers. But, mostly bad. Singing loader does NOT make you sound better. Our waiter was good and the perfect height to wait tables and remain able to keep eye contact. I’m not getting on him because he was short. It was just convenient. Food runner brings out our sweat potato fries… HIM-«Here are your fries.» ME-«Oh, thank you.» ME-«Wait a minute. You forgot the ranch.» HIM-«Uh, I’ll bring it out right now.» … … … Nearly ten minutes go by and the food runner never returns. I have to flag down our waiter for it. He is running in circles. Why would the manager put him on half the table in the restaurant? Poor management maybe? My fries are cold by the time I get the ranch. «I didn’t need those anyway. My thighs are big enough as it is.» I tell myself. I’ll come back here when I want to blow my eardrums out and waist my food. The End

Good Sunday Funday spot… we took the water taxi to and it dropped us off right here. Coconut shrimp and smoked seafood dip were both good… and the specials were priced well. $ 3 mimosas was also a strong selling point for Sunday Funday. We will be back there again atmosphere was strong and right on the water as well.

My husband and I just had to try this place on a Saturday night the food was consistent very good cute place but the waitress looked like she would rather be anywhere but here. Slow service he kept having it and ask for refill it seemed like she was a bit overwhelmed. Good food at reasonable prices but don’t come here for the service or you’ll be disappointed I will give it one more shot

This has been bookmarked for a while and it finally got checked off the list. A perfect dockside restaurant, made perfect by a gorgeous May evening. Start with the Fish Dip or Mile High Nachos. If you go with the nachos that might be all you need, it is truly Mile High and loaded with goodness. The Philly Cheese Steak reminded of Dan’s Sub Shop, a perfect ratio of cheese to meat placed into a wonderfully fresh hoagie roll. I foresee a few more south Florida evenings spent here. Our waiter kept of glasses full and made sure there was nothing we were missing.

I had not been to FF for may years and probably wasn’t Unilocaling when I first visited. But just visited on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for lunch. Parking can be tricky since they don’t have valet parking. But the setting right on the Intracoastal can’t be beat. I had a frozen Rum Runner to start and it was great. My swiss burger was fine, was supposed to be cooked medium, but it was well done instead. So, instead of awesome, it was just ok. My friends enjoyed their meals. Service was friendly and attentive. Sit back and watch the boats and the people, have a drink and some decent food at Flip Flops!

I was drawn into this place from our passing watercraft like a magnetic and undeniable vortex. See, I wear flip flops. Like all the time. All the TIME! I grew up in Miami and my pal Mike Lingswiler got me flip flopped way back and sent me on this path. Thanks Mike! My dad referred to his flip flops differently: * Zori’s * Sandals * Slippers * Zarachi’s * Shower Shoes Sorry about the spelling. Dad’s been gone for many moons. My Mom gets frustrated because I try and wear my flip flops longer than their designed usefulness. Any hooo, this place is cool, because: * Waterfront * Small * Cozy * Casual * People dancing to the D.J. * Fairly priced for being on the water * Friendly and affable bartender * You can come and go via the Water Taxi Can’t wait to try the food. Cabeza Forever in Flip Flops!

A lot has changed since 4 year old prior review of Flip Flops. The most notable are in the menu which is now very limited, consisting of mostly comfort or easy foods like burgers, tacos, calamari, ribs, wings; nothing particularly unique or exceptional however with what they do serve, they do a pretty darn good job of it. Their calamari is tender, done just right and not greasy. Their tacos are good and their smoked fish dip actually being outstanding; I’d say the best smoked fish dip in town. Though overall I might rate the food as being Three Star Plus, I’m going to keep with my Four Star rating because of Flip Flops pleasant location along the Intracoastal, its laid back Key West like atmosphere but more particularly because of its rather decent daily or monthly specials and events. Every day except on Mondays they offer specials on dinning such as Sunday Fundays with Caribbean music and $ 3 dollar Bloody Marys or Mimosas. Saturdays are ribs and $ 4 Sky Vodka, and Tuesdays with Philly Cheesesteaks. It’s best to check their website in order to know what is happening. One of their best is the first Sunday of the month T-Dance. In case you don’t know what a T-Dance is, it’s a rather specific gay cultural term originating from the French expression of «the dansant» or literally«dancing tea.» It’s the only T-Dance held on the Intracoastal with some of the very best in drag queen entertainment. It’s about as lively, hilarious and fun as thing can get, really very popular, and crowds up fast. The very best thing about it is that it is, though clearly gay themed, a fun for everybody event with a very mixed crowd, generally being about 1⁄3 gay and 2/3rds straight, but all joining in, enjoying each other and having a super good blow out time of it. It was particularly lively when I was last there as it was close in time to when Federal Judge Hinkle put an end to Florida’s ban on gay marriages with everyone celebrating like crazy. So, if you’re not a Pam Bondi(that’s Florida’s Attorney general and recipient of several«Loser of the Year» awards) creep, a good sport and enjoy a fun time, I highly recommend it.

Checked this place out in a Sunday afternoon. Very cool Key West vibe!!! Great crowd of people in different age groups. There was a drag show going on(apparently it’s once a month), good mix of straights and gays. The drinks are cheap, you get what you pay for. I would go back for the $ 3 drinks without a second thought!!! The $ 13 nacho plate I saw was HUGE!!! And I asked a few people they all said it was tasty and well worth it, for about 6 people.
