Love this place. The turkey burger and the veggie burger are by far my favorite… or maybe it’s the French fries or the sweet potato fries? Never dissapointed!

I like the food here but the customer service is not professional. The burgers are really good and the shakes… the banana foster… INCREDIBLE however, every time we have entered this establishment(which has been about 5 times) the employees are all standing around whispering to one another upset about something someone said or did on their shift(I know because when I walk up to place my order they are still talking about it while I wait to be acknowledged). On one particular occasion, one of them went as far as to tell us that the restaurants next door are not up to code and we shouldn’t eat there which was completely unprofessional. The employees are friendly but we as customers should not walk into a business establishment and feel the tension among the team. I will continue to eat here(and at the places next door because I like them too) but I hope the customer service is a little more on point across the board.

Best part about Burger 21 — GLUTENFREEBUNS! They are fantastic! Their burgers are juicy, and always cooked as you ask for. The condiment bar is a fun addition and it is labeled for those with food allergies. I love being able to go out and enjoy a burger on a bun again! Both sweet potato fries and regular fries are crispy, not soggy, and not too salty. Small beer selection is nice for a quick Friday night out. Staff is friendly, and it is always clean inside.

Burgers hers were just amazing. The staff if very friendly and sweet. They give suggestions and make you feel welcome. The barbecue burger was simply Divine. The Mediterranean chicken burger definitely seemed very fresh and flavorful. The bacon in d beef burger was so perfect that it cannot be described in words. Chips were also very long and crisp. Worth the money! Would definitely go back.

We found this place on a food run driving down the street. So glad we stopped! We weren’t really sure if it was sit down, fast food, or what, because the décor was so nice. We ordered a cheeseburger, some other burger(can’t remember the name), kids sundae, and the cheese fries. AMAZING!!! The burger was huge and cooked to order, fries were enough to feed us all, and the $ 1.99 kids sundae was huge!!! Would definitely recommend.

WOW this is an incredible Burger joint. I had the Chico Burger and the Nutella shake and both were incredible. You can tell this is a premium burger, it makes all other meats at other burger places seem fake. The atmosphere is great. The place is clean, simple and the staff is very friendly.

Delicious! I had the shrimp burger, and my family had the trio of sliders(the bacon cheesy) and the bacon bleu. All were excellent. We finished it off with the shake of the month, Hazelnut with toasted marshmallow. Yum yum! Can’t wait to try other things on the menu.

From new york, visiting for a few days. We ate at the pizza place located in the same shopping center, then walked over to get a shake after. After ordering and paying, we walked over to where the shakes are prepared. While making our way over, I guess our order went through to the girl behind the ‘shake bar’ and she starts yelling at the cashier saying, ‘Noo, I want to get out of here!’. Um, I’m sorry but the cashier had nothing very to do with our craving for a shake. Also, you really don’t care if your customers hear you complaining about having to make their order… hmmmm. She was just finishing up someone else’s order, when a friend of hers walked in and sat down at the shake ‘bar’. They began talking about what shake she wanted to try ‘this time’, and they decided it would be a chocolate malt. Ok, who cares, you are hooking your friend up with free stuff… Until we realize her shakes are being prepared before ours and other PAYING customers. We already had to wait for you to finish your conversation about which FREE shake you would make for your friends, but now we have to wait while you prepare them too? I’d want to be her friend! The chocolate malt and bananas foster shake my husband had were good, but not good enough to spend money there ever again.

The best service I’ve had a burger place, hell better than a lot of restaurants in general… Excellent food… Great options and customization and they went above and beyond to make sure we were welcome and our orders were correct!

Cool place, very affordable, and super clean. That’s how I can describe this place. Looking for a burger after working on a Saturday my wife told me about Burger 21, so I said«baby get ready because Im coming for you». Upon our arrival we were welcomed and immediately introduced to the burger of the month, a Texas burger with fried jalapeños and Monterey Jack Cheese. I love spicy food so pretty much I was sold on that idea. Wife took a look to the menu she ordered the Tex Mex, with awesome Applewood bacon. We also ordered the Cheese Ale Fries with bacon(of course we got some more bacon). They have a nice Ketchup and Mayo bar where you can find from Marshmallow Mayo to Sweat And spicy Ketchup(my favorite). Now my complaint comes at the fact that the place wasn’t super busy and took us over 25 minutes to get our food… the funny thing is they delivered the burgers first without the fries(those took another 10 min). Basically 35 min wait for 2 burgers and fries. Food was really good, a little bit pricey but the flavor compensate that little extra. What I can’t pass on is the wait, there were literally 4 tables and one came after us. They have a good thing going on, but they still need to work details and the manager needs to pay attention to the employees. Overall good place, but that’s about it.

Super slow! 20+ minutes for a black bean veggie burger &2 chicken strips. Black bean patty fell apart & had to be eaten with a fork because it was not well bound together(who wants to eat a burger with a fork?!) Food was ok but I’ll stick to BurgerFi when I’m in the mood for a(veggie) burger.

This place is great I ordered the OMG burger and it blew me away I ordered it medium well and took a bite of it and it was so juicy I thought to myself this has to be very rare and looked and it was done to a perfect medium well. This place blows Shake Shack out of the water.

This is my second time here. The first time I came here the food was perfect. Today made my second day, the burger was really good but my fries were dry. It was no big deal because the service is good. The young waitress kindly taken them back and I’ve received new hot fresh ones with a little extra. I wish the fries here at Burger21 were more like 5 Guys. Other than that just like its name, the burgers are good and the staff are friendly.

Updated review: went in today, made an order and when it came out one of the burgers was wrong. We sent it back and while waiting we realized we got a vegetarian customers bean burger… We caught the customer who had loaded our burger with condiments. At this point we were highly annoyed and asked for our money back. The front staff was very nice, apologized and offered to give us our money back and make us new food. We opted for just our money back. Then the manager came out and said to us «what they made your order wrong??» Um, yes. Then he proceed to bash his employees in front of us «I can’t leave you guys alone for a second. You never get anything right unless I check it» It was awkward and unprofessional. First review: This place is pretty tasty but over priced. When I look at the prices I always think«that’s pretty good» until I realize they don’t come with fries… Tip: the chili dog is amazing!

As an out-of-towner, I liked this chain. We visited two different locations during our 2 week trip to Florida. I have to eat strictly gluten free because of a really severe allergy, so traveling and eating are super hard and stressful. I like that they have a separate menu for the gluten free, and the employee that took our order was friendly and knowledgable on some other allergy questions we had. The burger was good. I love the fries here, and that they have a dedicated fryer for them! I was able to safely eat without getting sick, because let’s face it, getting«poisoned» a.k.a. cross contaminated, really sucks when traveling. The GF buns were also really good. They didn’t get mushy or disintegrate when I took a bite. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly and prompt. It kind of makes me wish this was a chain in the PNW.

Well it’s been about 6 months since I last popped in to Burger 21 and it seems that not a lot has changed other than ownership. There was a brief period in late summer, after our first visit where the restaurant was closed. We decided to give it another shot and see if we liked it any better than our first go around. Now the first time wasn’t bad, it was pretty tasty just not knock you over the head outstanding. Sadly that hasn’t changed either, We both decided to get burgers this time. Me, the Turkey/cranberry featured special and my dining companion the Bacon Cheesy. The Turkey burger special was topped with goat cheese, cranberry chutney and honey mustard together with typical burger veggies. The Bacon Cheesy was slathered with mayo and mustard in addition to the lettuce and tomato. The turkey burger was tasty although a little strange. It looked like a preformed, breaded turkey patty. I don’t think it was but it sure looked like it. It had flavor compliments of the toppings but the burger patty itself was kind of dry and lifeless. It actually resembled a patty of fried tuna salad(not that I would fry tuna salad … come to think of it. hmm). The one thing the burger has in abundance was honey mustard, lots and lots of thin, drippy honey mustard. the bacon cheese burger had similar issues. When ordered the burger was requested to be «medium» however, much like my yardbird, it was pretty far to the south side of dead. Rather than having a honey mustard explosion it was a slathering of mayo and mustard. Some people like a burger and some people like mustard garnished with cow I guess. So how was it? This is one of those reviews that is a little hard to write. It wasn’t bad, We enjoyed the burgers. Was it worth the cost? All told two burgers, fries and a couple of sodas came it at a hefty $ 29. That’s a lot of dough for a pair counter service burgers. The question was asked would I rather come to Burger 21 or the Freakishly jammin’ place over on Powerline and McNab? Honestly, I can’t say that anything really draws me here. It’s close to my house but maybe I’d rather go on adventure. Burger 21 ultimately comes in at more like a Burger 151⁄2

Walk in and don’t know if it’s order at the counter or at the table. Once we got that figured out, ordered our burgers and 2 fries. The waiter said, do a large fry instead and it will save you money, so we did. I asked for no lettuce or tomato on my burger, which he read back and even said he would go tell them in the back. Sure enough, the burger came out covered in lettuce and tomato. Which may have been a blessing because it soaked up some of the grease, there was so much grease it dropped down your arms while trying to eat the burger. Oh and the large fry, we didn’t get it even though we paid for it, we got one small thing. One time is enough for me. Again one time is enough.

Best gourmet chicken burger I’ve ever had.(Monterey chicken). Perfectly cooked and had a wonderful prepared crust. The toppings selection were clearly prepared by a trained chef. Awesome. The sweet potato fries were nice and crisp, not soggy and limp like most places. You would be pleased

I am a fun of their burger; however, Davie location has a better service in my opinion, regardless of that I will still continue to come here if I’m around, it’s really close from me and their burger is pretty consistent, juicy, well seasoned and ok price. Today I am trying the Gluten Free Black and Blue Burger and it is delish, the bread is super soft and the blue cheese gave the kick to it. Can’t wait to try the others gluten fee options.

Really now! Yet another burger outlet? Well yes, and probably more yet to come because all burgers are not created the same. The newer ones springing up, such as Burger 21, aren’t «just another» burger type of joint. Their offerings have unique culinary twists to them and the possibilities of those culinary twists seem endless; only limited by ones lack of imagination, creativity or inspiration a burger lends itself so well and in so many ways to modifications or innovations which may be based upon not only upon ingredients, but also upon regional tastes, matters rooted in cultural or ethnic background preferences, dietary or health concerns. The possibilities of burger creations would seem as unlimited as is the American passion for the burger. Along these lines, Burger 21 started off with its first outlet opening in Tampa, Florida in 2010, inspired by the owners of Melting Pot Restaurants in an effort to bring about a fast burger outlet with a hip upscale environment offering innovative burgers creative in preparation and unique in taste. Hence I was rather eager to try this particular location out for myself and I’m happy to report that along the creative lines they intended with their offerings, they’ve succeeded. In the near vicinity of this location, the burgers of Burger 21 are in my opinion far better than McDonalds, more tasty and satisfying than Burger King, and though not as distinctively rich in fresh down to earth meat flavor as local Jack’s Old Fashioned, overwhelming superior to any of that highly overpriced gimmicky branded bun crap served up by BurgerFi or horribly expensive, more bulky bun than a anything else, mediocre in flavor and taste creations of oft times valet parking only Rosie’s on the Drive. For my first meal try, I went for the«The Shroom» burger, being a beef burger with crimini mushroom, tomato, lettuce, onion and fontina cheese served up in what was to be a toasted brioche bun, $ 7.29, to which I added mustard, ketchup and chipotle mayo along with a side order of their«Cheese and Ale Fries.» To my surprise, and though I could discern the taste of each ingredient, none were distinctive, but instead blended together in what I thought to be a well-rounded delicious flavor. My brioche bun which appeared to have unfortunately come untoasted was however fresh, of proper size, moist and of exceedingly good texture enhancing to the ingredients it contained. As for the fries I had, rather good but typical of those served up at most fast food burger places. The accompanying cheese and ale sauce with bacon and fresh scallion, though good enough, to me rather bland and indistinctive; so much so that added to it some of their chipotle mayo. As Burger 21 has only been open a matter of weeks, I had expected a rather inept, untrained, sort of working out the opening bugs wait staff, but such was not the case. To the contrary, they all seemed fully up to speed, more than accommodating, professional and pleasant.
