Worst place to stay and if you are planning to ruin your vacation go here. The restroom is leaking, no hot water, the soap feels like lime paint that we use for walls, comforters full of cigar burns and what not, I just stayed here for 1 days and cancelled my booking for rest of 3 days and moved to Days inn close by. I’ve still got charged $ 110 extra for cancelling, but I don’t care as I enjoyed my stay at Days Inn. I strongly regret selecting this place to stay. Worst hotel till date in my entire life. I prefer getting tents from Walmart and stay on roads if they permit me instead of this hotel.

DONOTSTAYHEREEVER! PAYINGFORTHISPLACEIS A RIPOFFTOTHECONSUMERANDONLYENCOURAGESTHEOWNERTOCONTINUEHISHORRIBLEBUSINESSPRACTICES! The only positive I have from this is the front office lady checking our group in was very friendly. Now to the bad. We were basically stuck with this hotel because we got in late and needed somewhere to stay. Since it was late Friday night we didn’t have a lot of options. We had been up for 20 hours already and were so exhausted. Our room was a disaster! Reeked of cigarette smoke. Old outdated rooms. After looking at the complete lack of cleanliness in the room we stripped off the top cover and sheet. Under the first bed was old newspaper inserts from previous guests I’m assuming. Under the second bed was a shard of glass. I am only speculating here but it really did look like a piece of glass from a crack pipe. Why? I don’t personally smoke crack but it was thin piece of glass with curvature with a cloudy residue on it and after looking at the place I wouldn’t be surprised if people had smoked crack in this room. The pillows barely resembled a pillow anymore because they were so old and beaten down. After taking a shower in the morning I had to decide which towel to dry off with based on which one had the least amount of brown stains on them. As my title states, it was literally the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The only reason we didn’t leave or try to get a refund was we had been up for 20 hours and it was already almost 2AM. In the morning we were going to complain but with the horrible conditions in the room we assumed they heard complaints all the time and wouldn’t care anyway. The owner clearly has given up and doesn’t care about the quality of his rooms or his guest’s experience. Seriously find any other place!

My mom and aunt came here to visit us from Michigan for Mother’s Day and come to find out that there nothing but hustlers and hookers standing outside on the premises and peering through windows and doors. Needless to say they went to another location.(Royal Beach Palace)!

Decent Overnight /Extended Weekend Stay SITREP — YSB2015 Ft. Lauderrdale I tend to be frugal when I travel for just myself because when I want to make sure I have the fundage to spend on the fun tourist treks in a new locale, as well as splurge in that really cool cocktail lounge or treat myself and any partner-in-crime to a fancy restaurant. THESETUP The good people at America’s Best Inn & Suites provide a basic accomodation that let’s me keep my stuff in my room during the day while I’m romping about, and a nice crash pad to sleep for 7 – 10 hours a night(depending on how hard I need to *crash*! ;) And luckily for me, they are located right smack in the middle of where most of the events I am participating in for this extended 4-day weekend are being held. Nothing like being able to come from one event, and along the way stop in the room, freshen up, and then be off to my next event. But there IS a catch… TONEDDOWNAMENITIES This is NOT a frilly stop. [In other words, I would not bring a female companion here along with me that I was trying to impress, unless she was of the same mind as me.] No shampoo, no conditioner, no skin lotion, no thick towels, etc. etc. They only provide a small bar of soap. And the beds are bit firm. Okay. They are really firm, but I can handle it. PLUSES But the room has got a fridge, and a microwave, and FREE WiFi(that is a big plus with all my review-writing and uploading of pictures), and it’s also got a wall mounted air-conditioner that is sufficient to keep the heat AND humidity(I dam near forgot what THAT was like), and a TV with lots of stations. RATE And my rate this go-around is really reasonable. I can’t promise that my rate would like this everytime, but on this junket it is a four(4) Night total for $ 302(roughly a bit more than $ 75 a night). Leaves more money to spend on the fun, rather than on a room I’m hardly visiting except to sleep. [My 2 cents.] THELOWDOWN A decent basic room set-up for my trip to Ft. Lauderdale.
