New owners!!! I ordered a ham and cheese omelet from the new owners, Grace and Leandro. Great omelet, big in size and good value. The Café has been cleaned up viibly. New menus, new foods, bright lights. Gone is the tattered look of the old owner. It is worth a re-consideration. They still have the Nathans dogs and sauerkraut as well.

Excellent prices, great atmosphere! Don’t waste your time on the overpriced restaurants at Beach Place, check this place out instead.

The first time I wanted to try this restaurant it was 9:45 pm and we were told the kitchen closed. We were in the neighborhood for lunch one day and dropped by and spoke to the owner and he said they close at 10:00. My second attempt to dine here was at 9:30 on a Tuesday night and a very rude waitress said they closed at 9:30, despite what the owner and website says! Don’t bother if your a local, go to Village Grille or Aruba Café, they both honor their closing time.

Excellent value for simple meals. Hidden gem – next to Haagen Dazs. Don’t let the look fool you. Outside seating. Good quality. Breakfast is a deal. Also Nathan’s hot dogs. Better value than the overpriced sit down restaurants in the area. We ended up making it our spot for bfast and lunch while here on vacation, saved our $$$ for dinners

Wish we had gone to the Aruba Café instead! The food @ Beach Café is mediocre and for $ 14.99 the fish sandwich with a bag of chips = ripoff! The only good thing about the place is the view. The tall guy from the midwest was rude to say the least. He hung around sitting on the railing behind us. We did not notice that the menu there was a 18% tip added to the bill for everyone even, 1 or 100 people. When we got our bill, he had added a 20% tip which we normally tip but for this guy he would have been lucky to get a 15% tip! Note that the menu states 18% NOT20%. When we asked him about the 20% tip, he told us that Aruba Café(across the street) does the same thing. Well, we had to verify this so we walked over there and asked them. They said they only charge 18% when there are parties of 10 or more so this guy at Beach Café lied to us and he is also very arrogant. Would not recommend this place if you want good service and good food. As I said the only good thing about this place is the view. We’ll stick with Aruba as those folks are friendly and the food a million times better. Our fist clue should have been how empty the Beach Café was and how busy Aruba was!

Unlike the surrounding overpriced tourist trap eateries, this place serves American food at reasonable prices. I got two Nathan’s dogs with kraut. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely a great place to stop in for a quick lunch.

Located amongst the over priced over hyped tourist traps of Beach Place sits one shinning star, which is Beach Café, a simple little hot dog, pizza and sub joint which serves up an ok snack at a reasonable price. Since all I wanted was a hot dog without the hype, price or example of inept roller skating waiters as are found in Sonic, I was delighted to find Beach Café which does serve up a plump, juicy, boiled Nathan’s for $ 2.50 with sauerkraut or other garnishments included. Not for the food, which is ok, but for being the one place in Beach Place not dedicated to tourist rip off or hype, 4 Stars.
