We stopped in at this restaurant and immediately were seated, I was surprised we did for a prime lunch hour dining time. The menu had just enough items to offer and the service was good. However, the items ordered tasted pretty average with too much fusion and sugar thrown in, which took away from the dishes. I definitely recommend it since my taste buds will differ from others. The taste and service are my biggest peeves.

This place has a great location with nice outdoor seating available. Our waitress was very nice and made sure that we had everything we needed. She made sure that the kitchen knew my wife’s food had to be strictly gluten free(she has Celiac). The food was delicious and came out quickly. I would recommend this place.

After our first not so good experience at the Austin’s in old town I have to say the location down on harmony is a lot nicer, has a more comfortable atmosphere and the food was way better. We went for my birthday dinner and thanks to the Director of Austin’s he convinced us to try it one more time. We chose the other location on harmony this time to give it a newer experience for my husband and I. We had the chorizo cheese as an appetizer it was very good. and with prime rib and new york steak we had a good main course. taste was great and our waiter was lovely his name was ben. great service. I had a margarita that was alright and my husband had a manhattan. all in all a good experience! Thank you again!

5 stars. We had a great meal here last night after a long drive, highly recommend one of the rotisserie options — I had the lamb and my girlfriend had the beef. I forgot my credit card when we left(nightmare while driving cross country!) and the awesome bartender went running around town to the jazz club/music venues he recommended we check out that evening, looking for me, and I ended up going back to the restaurant shortly thereafter looking for it and was able to get it back. Great service, great food, great prices.

I’ve been to Austins many, many times and I think last night might be my last time. I’ve been disappointed too many times to justify going back. I love the atmosphere and the restaurant itself is beautiful inside and is a great location for outside seating as well but many of the dishes are sub=par. The rack of lamb both my mother and I had last night was mainly fat and the taste was not good. I barely ate any of it. The mashed potatoes and vegetables that went with it were nothing to report about but not bad. My husband had the buffalo steak and it was very tough with not a lot of flavor. My daughter had the chicken and she loved it. Perhaps its what you order. DO not get the lamb. The final straw was the crème brûlée. We ordered 4 servings and they were just what they are supposed to. They custard was thick and not creamy and the shell on top was too hard. The overall flavor wasn’t satisfying. I might give Austins another try but not until I’ve gotten over this one.

This place was okay. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside, and I loved looking at the brick work in the room we sat in. The staff was friendly and on the ball, and the entire place was very clean. My biggest concern here was the food. Especially for a place that charges as much as they do, we were expecting a lot higher quality. My husband got a burger with fries, which were just the McDonalds style kind(not hand cut or seasoned) and honestly not quite as tasty. My garlic mashed potatoes were awesome, but the food was lukewarm and could’ve used a lot more flavor. Earned an extra star from me for handling my service dog, Samson like champs. None of their tables were friendly for him to sit underneath, so they let us move a chair out of the way so he could take his place under the table while we ate.

Good and service were good. Atmosphere is pretty cool too. It was priced well and always nice to downtown Ft Collins.

Ok at best. Service & atmosphere were nice. However, salmon Caesar was poor quality. Both were flavorless, Caesar mix was strange & fish was over cooked. I am shocked that this restaurant has sustained in an area with very quality options.

The food is outstanding. The service is on top of everything. If a server sees so. ething that needs to be done they just do it. It is a team effort to take care of the customer. You will not regret eating here.

My visit to Austin’s was the end of a VERY long Saturday of meandering around downtown Foco, hiking at Lory Park, and shopping in the area. My friend and I were basically exhausted and wanted something delicious but were feeling indecisive. Maybe we would have stayed home otherwise but it was the last night of our little weekend getaway to Foco and we wanted to experience the scene. Austin’s was a good pick since the menu has items that pretty much anyone will like. We were seated immediately and well served by the attentive staff. The interior is warm, welcoming, and casual enough for a normal dinner yet nice enough for a date. I ordered the burger with fries and it was delicious. My friend ordered the bison burger and smashed potatoes and she seemed happy as well! We were in and out in under an hour but it is clear that Austin’s is the type of place that you could have a slow relaxed boozy dinner as well. I would recommend it highly.

Had an absolutely wonderful sandwich there today. Believe it was called chicken haystack; pulled chicken, cheese, flavored mayo, bbq sauce(very good), poco de gallo, and thin deep fried onions on a decent bun with fries. Perhaps the best sandwich I have ever had. Certainly at the top of my list. Service was good, friendly, prompt. Give this sandwich a try.

My husband and I were in town and wanted a nice place to eat. After reading other reviews we came here. There was a small wait but we stood at the bar and had drinks. The ambience is wonderful, beautiful décor, different kinds of seating for groups and more intimate spaces, lots of brick, definitely a good choice. After reading through their menu we both went with the daily special: bison pot roast! Amazing!!! Every mouthful was tender and delicious! If I’m in Ft. Collins again I will definitely go back.

Have been for lunch as well as brunch and it’s wonderful every time! Drinks are perfect, we had bloody marys and mimosas, and the food was so excellent! If you go for brunch make sure to get an order of apple fritters for the table! You won’t regret it!

I love Austin’s! They have been one of my favorite FoCo restaurants for years. I wish the downtown location were larger, but it’s cozy and welcoming. The outdoor patio on the best corner in Old Town is a must in nice weather. On my most recent visit, the kitchen was kind enough to make me a sandwich from the lunch menu even though it was 9:30 at night. Roasted Turkey Club… YUM! Love!!!

Visited Austin’s this week and ordered the $ 25 New York Strip. I expected a great meal based on the previous Unilocal reviews. First off, everything was under seasoned and needed several hits of salt and pepper. The baked potato was decent but also under seasoned. The vegetable side was cold, bland, and was very likely frozen and not fresh. Lastly, that steak. The preparation of the steak was an insult to the cow who gave it: undercooked, under seasoned, a big ribbon of unrendered fat that had to be cut off. In short, it was basically inedible. Friends, it’s called salt. Use it. A huge disappointment overall.

Excellent service and amazing food I had the roasted chicken sandwich with the apple coleslaw. We went in, all 6 of us, ordered drinks and appetizers before we ordered the entrée. The waiter was attentive and didn’t let our drinks run out.

You can hardly miss Austin’s: Overflowing onto the main drag of downtown Fort Collins with plenty of outdoor seating. Very high end part of town, enjoyed walking up and down the main drag and just people watching from the restaurant. Plenty of outdoor seating for a nice sunny Colorado day. My drink was strong! It was my first time there and the bartender didn’t know us at all and we still got strong drinks. Food was a little lacking — there was a special on appetizers so we got a few and it was lukewarm. Other than that, great experience and generally cheap for the location and the drinks we ordered. If I find myself in Fort Collins again, I’ll definitely stop in.

I would highly recommend the«chorizo queso» appetizer. Delicious. The outdoor seating is perfect and the staff are knowledgable of the menu. The pork tenderloin and flat iron steak are also delicious I don’t think we left anything on our plates.

I went into Austins with a group of 7, so 8 total. We called about 35 minutes in advance so they could be prepared. Once we got in, the male server was a bit harsh, blunt & impersonal. He then switched with another waitress so from the beginning we were feeling a bit uncomfortable. When our food came, the waitress spilled water on my friend. Accidents happen but she still brushed it off like no big deal. The steaks 3 of the 8 ordered were over salted & chewy. The vegetables were cold and mushy. I confronted the manager. He twitted his pencil behind a clipboard & preceded to argue with all of us when we told him how terrible of a service we had. I tried to ask him what grade of meat they carried & he had no idea. After me asking him twice, I feel as though he just picked a grade I named off. Terrible. I will never fucking go back there. We spent about $ 350 all together and the meals were worth about &150 all together.
