Subway

There are a few reasons I am giving this Subway a lower rating. The biggest reason is I cannot understand the staff at all. The staff really needs to speak clearly. This is especially important at Subway, a restaurant where staff builds sandwiches for you and therefore asks many questions. In the past when I have visited this Subway, I have had no idea what I’m being asked. Saying «yes» or «no» to the questions has always been a gamble! Also, and perhaps I am picky about this because I prefer the spacious suburbs, the parking lot stinks. It is too small and crowded. In addition to that, the Subway is on a busy street that is hard to even make a right turn onto at times.
There are good points about this place, however. It is clean and the sandwiches are fine. If you can understand what staff is saying, I suppose it’s not a bad idea to stop in for a quick meal.

It’s typical for a Subway, and they honor all or most company-​wide promotions, such as $ 5 footlongs and daily specials. I would have to say that the 1215 S Harlem location is somewhat better than many other local Subways, because the staff are friendly and helpful. Several other nearly Subways nearby are staffed by employees who are downright mean. This location, however, has always been nice to visit.
