I had an absolutely superlative experience buying a mattress and bed from Sleepy’s in April. Eddie was knowledgeable, showed me any style of mattress one could want, and helped me find exactly what I needed. He was also an absolute doll to talk to about life and, while I doubt I will need to return to this store anytime soon, I would urge anyone in the area who is looking for a bed to go there.

Edward ! Ed is a knowledgable person who took his time to explain the mattresses to you and helps you to find the one that fits your sleeping needs without being a typical pushy salesperson.
I went in around 5pm it was quiet and there was parking out front. Ed greeted me and showed me multiple mattresses and stressed to take my time. I ended up staying for about 2 hours… crazy, I know. I bought the Simmons crossover firm phenom while taking advantage of the Memorial Day sales.
I recommend coming here and speaking to Ed if you’re looking to buy a new bed!

My fiancée and I came to this location in hopes of finding our ideal mattress. We’ve never been mattress shopping and didn’t know what to expect. Edward was such a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. We found our perfect fit and he was even able to give us a promotion that began the next day! We recommend this location and Edward in particular.

I came to sleepy’s today looking to purchase a new mattress and got just that! I was greeted by a very knowledgeable saleswoman Mia, who listened to my needs and was able to help me narrow it down to 2 mattress. Mia ultimately helped me to pick the best mattress for me which was the Sealy posturpedic Santa Ana firm mattress which was great for me since I am a stomach sleeper. She also helped me to find the perfect pillow designed for stomach sleepers. I wasn’t rushed and was able lay on the mattress for at least 15 min until I decided. I highly recommended sleepys and especially Mia!

My husband and I went in hoping to find a mattress that we would both be satisfied with. My husband likes super firm and I like sleeping on a cloud. Edward was super knowledgeable and informative regarding the various types of coils, toppers, etc. He was very patient with us, allowing us to spend time on each mattress and then offering to show us more variety. He was never pushy or forceful and it didn’t feel like he was only interested in making a sale. He seemed genuinely interested in providing us with enough information to make a smart choice and with giving us the best deal he could. My husband and I were both super pleased with our purchase and Edward’s excellent customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Edward to anyone interested in looking for a mattress. He really knows his stuff.

I witnessed a really ugly outburst as two women seemingly attempted to threaten the store manager, Abdel, into giving them free shipping after he’d already found them a $ 800.00 bed on sale for $ 290.00!!! I’ve only seen customers acting like this on television! My god! Despite the ridiculous rants of these two unruly customers, Abdel remained professional and was of great service to us. He helped us find a bed that fit our price range (he even went into the store’s network to find us the best deal possible)! I did not feel overly sold on options. Of course, warranty and other things were mentioned, but this is standard for any sales outlet. He was very respectful when I declined his few offers and we moved on with the purchase. I am very happy with the service I was given, the price I received, and the the bed I now have. FOUR STARS!

i bought my mattress there and they guy there helped me, so i dont understand why is this guy James K is complaining for? if u have a friend working in a different location why u didnt go to him? duh! my mattress is good and i would recommend anybody, my got a simmons beutyrest,

I got suckered into buying a 1.2k mattress. These guys are worse than used car salesmen. I had not known that i was suckered until a friend of mine (who is employed at a different location) had told me about how they mark up these mattresses and you are suppose to bargain with these sales people to bring the price down. Its not fair knowing that someone paid 600 for a mattress that i also paid for double that. This is a mattress people!!! not a car! Life lesson learned, don’t buy mattresses from Sleepy’s. Next time, I’m going to Macys or Sears, where everyone gets the same price.

So when I was moving to Forest Hills, I had to throw out my 10 year old, well beloved bed. I moved in without a mattress to sleep on. First night in the new place was spent on the floor in my sleeping bag. It hurt.
so the next morning I got my ass to the nearest Sleepy’s, which happened to be this one. I was upfront with the salesman (Walter), telling him that I had a tight budget, a bad back and a short shirt schedule. Half an hour later, i walked out having purchased a complete set (mattress, box spring and frame + delivery) for all of 700 and it came early the next afternoon. Walter was very thorough in explaining the warranty to me and the fact that I could exchange it if it wasnt comfortable in 21 days, but I’m not giving this babe up. It’s mattress win. srsly

I walked into Sleepy’s having done a considerable amount of Internet research on different types of mattresses. I fully expected to get a Sealy mattress with a Tempurpedic top. The salesman immediately came over when I walked in and offered to do a free mattress profile for me. I lay on a mattress hooked up to a computer, and it spit out some type of graph that said I’d do best with a medium-​firm mattress. Hmph! We’ll see about that.
The salesman was helpful and knowledgeable, but also gave me plenty of time and space to lay on each mattress I was interested in for a good 5 – 10 minutes to really test it out. After laying on the Tempurpedic-​topped mattress I thought I wanted, I soon found my butt sinking in to its foamy surface. After a few minutes I was sure the mattress had a Meredith-​shaped crater in it that I was stuck in.
Feeling much like Goldilocks at this point, I proceeded to try a soft pillow-​topped mattress (too soft), and then a medium-​firm pillow-​topped mattress (just right), and then a firm pillow-​topped mattress (too hard). The computer knew it all along! The salesman came back to hear my assessment, with a knowing smile. He explained that tall people (like me) usually prefer firmer mattresses because it upholds our center of gravity, eliminating the sinking butt feeling, and a potential bad back.
Within a few minutes my information was in the computer, my delivery scheduled, and I was feeling pretty happy having only spent about $ 1200 on a quality Sealy queen mattress, box spring, and stain-​proof mattress cover that comes with 3 free lifetime replacements. I’ve already taken advantage of one of these due to a dryer melting incident. Over this year I have had many lovely nights sleep on my medium-​firm bed.
When my mattress was delivered the guys were courteous, right on time, and had the bed set up in a record 10 minutes. I highly recommend Sleepy’s for a good quality mattress at a good price, with good service to boot.
