5 stars is for the Feb’2016 reopening free ~$ 15 burrito bowl &2xtras, but the rest of this will be on the Unilocal level. on weekday mid-late afternoon this dark 1960’s bomb shelter décor spotless odorless place is a high school hang out. the counter people were cool and efficient and the cashier was friendly despite my meal being a freebie. while Chipotle is a major upgrade from«food squeezed out of a tube» Taco Bell, it can’t compete with freshly made to order, far better textured authentic sweet, smokey and spicy Mexican, even when it’s being made by a neighborhood Chinese takeout venue. the Chipotle food was too salty, non textured with an overwhelming green pepper flavor — which I especially dislike. trying to digest my meal distracted me a good 12 hours after eating only half of it. I’m glad I tried it, but even if offered more free food, I doubt I’ll take them up on it. I wish the counter people would put each element in it’s own pile, instead of layering it on top of each other — maybe then I could learn what part(s) of my meal were so distasteful, and know what to avoid reordering in the future should someone drag me back here.

WORST Chipotle ever. Seriously. Staff is RUDE. They SKIMPSOHARD on the portions of chicken. It’s ridiculous. They will pile on the rice and beans(which are the cheapest ingredients) and then when they’re putting in the chicken, the fill up the spoon and then shake half of the meat off and put that in the burrito– basically, they put HALF A SPOON of chicken– about 5 teeny tiny pieces. I’m sorry but when you’re paying $ 10 for a chicken burrito, it needs to be a chicken burrito, not a RICEANDBEANS burrito! Other Chipotles aren’t this bad, so I wonder if it’s the manager here who tells his staff to totally skimp on the meat and doesn’t care if employees are rude.

I love this Chipotle. Even though it’s in a busy location in Forest Hills, it’s not a long wait. I was literally in and out. Being that they have the Ecoli scares going on with Chipotle going on, they had signs everywhere stating that there’s no lettuce. It was a bummer but I understand the safety precautions. All the ingredients were fresh and hot. Every location is skimp with the rice portions but I asked for more and they gave it willingly without attitude or hesitation. Chipotle is usually known for doing your meal fast to get you in and out but my food prep guy took his time and didn’t slob my food in my plate. I recommend and I will return

The last two times I ate here(including today), I got sick. I had the steak both times and I thought to myself, maybe it’ll be just fine today. NOPE. Sent me straight to the bathroom. I think that this chipotle doesn’t really cook their steak very well. Everyone I was with had chicken or tofu. That stuff seems safe. That steak, though? It will legit make you sick to your stomach. Literally. The service was pretty good.

I’ll preface this review by expressing my undying love for Chipotle! When in doubt, Chipotle for lunch. I even drove from Seattle to NYC, and managed to hit a few Chipotle’s on the way. This particular location definitely stands out though, and not for a good reason. My burrito bowl was extremely salty, and the chicken was tasteless. Imagine my surprise as I’m digging in and all I taste is salt. :(I did get a few burnt pieces of chicken, at least that had some flavor.

I’ve been here a couple times, usually the food is good but not tonight. 1. The chicken in my bowl was both chewy and some pieces was burnt. I usually love Guacamole but it looked so gross as if it’s been sitting there for hours, so I decided not to get any. 2. Whenever I come here the tables are always dirty. 3. The cheese also was really cold and hard. 4. The lettuce tasted weird, it was cold and tasted like the grass you pick in your back yard, I couldn’t eat it. And if you look at my pic of my bowl you will see the hard white spine part of the lettuce bunch in my bowl. Is that necessary ! I’ve never gotten that in my bowl ever ! Not a good experience this time at all. Only reason I gave it three stars is because this is the first time I’ve had this horrible experience, the past few times I’ve been there it was a lot better. Only good thing I can say is the staff was nice.

The worst Chipotle EVER! Ridiculously stingy place. Horribly stingy. This time around I voiced it, «This must be the most stingy Chipotle ever…», the employee replied: Yes, we are bound by our portion control policy. I wonder who is the owner of this franchise. Never ever again. Some nasty employees too. Never again!

I totally agree with a previous comment — this is the worst Chipotle store ever. Stingy portions, low service(especially there’s usually a jam near cashier and lettuce area), unfriendly staff. Can you believe that — after I purchased, I figured I needed a cup with lid & straw for my young toddler to consume water, but the water cup a staff gave me couldn’t match with any lid, so I went back to inquire for a different cup, and she said«we are not allowed». I raised the water I poured, showed her it’s only water, I had no any intention to steal their soda, I simply needed to get a cup with lid for my baby. I inquired, I begged, I pleased. She turned back asking a guy, and that guy said«we charged for the cup(with lid)». Again, can you believe this?

This is the worst Chipotle. I absolutely love Chipotle but the one sucks. Everything from the extremely slow service to the sub par food!

I never have a problem here. I always get fast, fresh and good service. My portions of food and toppings are the perfect amount. But if I wanted more I’d just ask for more. The employees definitely don’t wanna be here. Lmaoooo but who cares just gimme my food Im hungry. And oh I do have 1 complaint. Can somebody come wipe off these dirty ass tables. Geeshhh!!!

How many times do I have to have an attitude from somebody who hates their job. I ask for the tomato salsa and she dipped the spoon and poured fluid into my bowel. No tomatoes. Then had the nerve to throw shade when I corrected her. This is it, the last time because it happens at multiple locations but always here!

Their portions are way too small. If they got a scoop of chicken they will lower it. Even rice

The service at this particular chipotle is a bit sub-par. There are occasions when you do get a friendly server. However, on most of my visits I have brushed upon some employees that could be considered rude. Aside from that, you can expect good food. Important note: the prices at this chipotle are about $ 1.00 above the prices at other locations on Long Island.

Chipotle’s lines are often long but some locations can get through orders fast. This place, however, doesn’t and I had to wait on line for a while. Then when it was my time to order, I got an attitude from every single worker. Plus, they were unorganized; my veggie bowl was made by four people, all of whom were not sure what they were in charge of. After trying to regain my appetite from the terrible customer service, I was hoping to still enjoy my veggie bowl. It was good but I was disappointed at the smaller portion size relative to other locations. The portions were not consistent as the people ahead of me got different amounts of rice and beans. I also found an avocado stem and cilantro branch in my bowl, so they don’t have the best quality control in their kitchen either. I definitely don’t recommend this location.

Stingy, stingy, stingy!!! Literally all their scoops were kid portion sized! The only thing good about the place was the servers were ok… EDIT: I’m taking a star away and giving it 1 star because it just give me really bad food poisoning after several hours! I almost threw up twice and my stomach was in a really bad place a couple of minutes ago. Jesus christ.

I have always found chipotle ‘too much everything’, ‘pricey’n ‘heavy on calories’. But once a month, I am ready to give in this Mexican tiffin place. I usually go for simple rice n beans with loads of veggies. I avoid too much of sauces coz that’s the calorie web. Overall, nothing to brag about!

Soooo… full disclosure: I’m not a Chipotle fan. In fact, I’m quite the burrito snob. And for me, a good burrito, much less good Mexican food, does not exist here in NYC. The main reason I even step foot in Chipotle is because my fiancée likes their food and, ya know, «happy wife, happy life» and all that. =) Although, what with me being a tree hugger and all, and since they have gone all non-gmo, I’m finding myself more willing to eat here. Not to mention, I kinda like their tortilla chips. During our most recent visit, there was the usual line, the not exactly friendly service, and the semi-clean tables. Normally, I go for the Carnitas bowl. But because of their new non-gmo policy they were out of it because of a shortage in sustainably raised pork. I’m totally cool with that. So we shared the sofritas bowl. Color my tongue surprised! That thing was actually tasty! And may be my new go-to since I’m 100% positive the fiancée will insist on coming here again. It’s conveniently 1 ½ blocks away from where we live. So… yay for non-gmo! And yay for the sofritas! Oh, and did I mention the also serve margaritas? Haven’t tried them yet, but maybe next time.

I finally tried Chipotle and got to see what all the hype was about. It was good, but I could probably make this at home for less. I got a 2 chicken rice bowls with brown rice, black beans, salsa, corn, chicken, cheese, guacamole, and lettuce. If I had known guacamole was going to cost extra, I would have omitted it since I’m not crazy about avocados, but it did taste good. The service was good, the guys that were putting together our orders were friendly and joked around with my brother and I, which I thought was nice. However, the total came out to be $ 23, which is a bit pricey especially without a drink.

I never have an. issue at this location. They’re always on point with my vegetarian burrito.(Yes, I go for the baby fetus, and I have no shame) my four pounds of vegetables is all I need to make me very happy. The guacamole is always fresh when I go here, and the staff is always friendly to me. A good location for all to try at least once.

This chipotle has good food but some problems. It seems the servers don’t know what«more beans» or «more rice» means. The manager seemed apathetic when I pointed out his bathroom faucet didn’t work and it was a mess(see photo). And these guys are raking it in. Low Unilocal rating though.
