I rent here and I actually really like living here! I’m an extrovert and insist on knowing my neighbors. To me, the key to keeping a community great is keeping tabs on the freaks and not letting them live here and doing as much (safely) as we can to run them out. Good neighbors must stick together. The association is not the strongest I’m sorry to say. On the other hand if they allowed every little thing to get through, it would be the most annoying job.
I’m also not thrilled with the ‘parking enforcer’, oh, I mean the ‘security company’.
I agree with the two posts below. I’m happy to say as a community we were able to come together and make enough noise about the crazy couple in building 39 and we got them evicted!!! As far as the other couple they are the worst. And yes the mom owns a bunch of the units. If we make enough noise about them, they too will go.
And a note for the association; its a sellers market, let that witch sell her conglomerate! Out with the old in with the new!
And another note for anyone that is SUB PAR (ie. Sketchy. You know who you are); this community is not for you. We will make it very uncomfortable for you.

The review below me is correct. I currently live in the same building, and the people below us have caused us such a headache. They get upset about EVERYTHING. We wanted to live here since it was close to my boyfriends work, and they let us have our dog (He is quiet large 70lbs). We’ve lived in different cities/​states, and Ive never dealt with such CRAZY people — Even the word ‘crazy’ can not explain how these people are. If I walk up the stairs, they will get upset. If I clean my patio, they yell and cuss. The HOA does nothing to stop them from smoking either, or harassing us. We’ve had to get our landlord involved and write them a formal letter to leave us alone but that does not stop them.
I would not recommend anyone to live here. A lot of the people here are mentally, and physically distressed. We’ve had cops here atleast every month, smoking, noisiness, and no sense of privacy.
Worst crime rate in OC —

My wife and I lived here the first two years of our marriage– it was the single worst living experience we’ve ever had.
I lived in building 42, which is towards the back right corner of the complex. Nearly every week we were dealing with a group of 30-​somethings with no jobs smoking weed (although all smoking is banned by HOA rules), drinking 40s, and yelling at their video games until 3 in the morning. No matter how many times I told them to stop, called the cops, alerted the HOA– nothing deterred their efforts to make our lives miserable.
Come to find out, my downstairs neighbor’s mom owned all of the condos these guys were living in– 6 or 7 to be exact. In all of these units which scattered about that back right area of the complex, problems just seemed to happen and nothing would be done about them. A friend I made in building 39 said that my neighbor’s live-​in girlfriend prompted an altercation with them because he was walking to the gym– ever since then, she would stand outside of their house and stare in their windows. Two guys and a girl living together in a one bedroom unit owned by this woman got in a shouting match over one of them not paying rent. When I called the security company, they not only identified them all name and said, «They do this all the time” — they then proceed to never show up and do anything about it. (This so called security company, although not able to do anything for me then, was very prompt in towing my car when my parking pass fell off of my rear view mirror one day.) All of these incidences were reported to my landlord who told the HOA, who even had us come in (which usually isn’t allowed for tenants) and tell all of the incidents that happened. The actual board was very understanding, but the management company who we then dealt with on a regular basis after that, even refused to take our calls.
As confirmed by my landlord– nothing was being done by the HOA’s management company because this woman had a stranglehold on them providing dues for 7 condos– all she had to do was threaten to leave and her precious son’s troubles would be wiped away. The last straw was we even sent in a video to the board of him and his girlfriend lighting up in the parking lot (very against the rules), we were told to stop contacting the management company entirely.
In conclusion: I would never buy a condo in here, unless you can afford 8 and out strong arm this woman who lets these low-​lifes run amok. The managers of the HOA only see dollar signs, they don’t care about the people who have to live there. If you have to rent in there (which I also don’t suggest) — stay away from buildings 39 – 42, better yet: stay away from the whole complex and save your sanity.
