Absolutely LOVE this place for home-cooked pinoy eats! Our family favorite is the breakfast silogs(Tocino, Langonisa, Tapa) on the weekend… great portions and great tasting! Each silog comes with a generous portion of steamed or garlic fried rice, two eggs, and sabow. The owners are very down to earth, and we always feel welcome, as if we were going to mom’s house for a meal. Highly recommend, will definitely return!

Good people and good food make a good combination. The food is always fresh and tastes great. They also have very reasonable catering prices. If you’re in the mood for Filipino food in the IE, they’re the best around.

You know when a brother start loving Filipino food. It’s a great thing. Manila wok is. A great family owned restaurant by Belen and Gilbert. They can sure cook some Filipino dishes. The Bistek and Sisig is to die for. The only Filipino restaurant that I will only eat at. It’s worth driving to and try.

Not worth spending your hard earned money. It looks and taste like they serve foods made from three days ago.

Not bad at all, the place is small but the food is great. I recommend the sisig. When you order it they cook it fresh. Caldereta is excellent. It is best to come early when they open because I don’t think they cook anymore in the afternoon once the food is gone that’s about it. But I can’t complain food is very good. The ones I really didn’t like is the mungo it’s too watery. The dinuguann is ok. But most of it are good. Way better than the other 2 Filipino restaurant in the area. So come here you won’t regret it.

Ordered 10 dishes for a big party! Yay! Everyone was having fun until one guest approached me saying that the chicken pastel was bubbly. uh oh! Good gracious… it was SPOILED! Good thing only one person have tried it and she confirmed that ’twas already bad. Called manila wok the following day to complain, the lady owner/cook seems like didn’t care. I was told that that dish really get spoiled easily, she said that maybe I didn’t put it on the warmer. I told her it was sitting on the warmer the whole time. She just kept silent, didn’t even offer to refund my money or apologize. Never went back… booo

Coming from the Bay Area and growing up with hella Filipinos, I am pretty confident in my ability to distinguish amazing Filipino food from mediocre attempts at signature dishes. The homie and I came here before raging it up at Nocturnal during Labor Day weekend. When we arrived during their regular business hours, it looked like they were about to close up. They stated they were closing early for the holiday, so not many options were left. We went for their signature pancit and lumpia shanghai. It took quite some time to get those items prepared, so we were excited that it would come out amazing. However, once we got back to our room to feast upon our meal, we were sadly disappointed that there was barely any meat or shrimp in their pancit. As for the lumpia shanghai, it tasted like they were from a Seafood City freezer aisle. Perhaps we came on an off day, but nonetheless we are happy that we have tons of better Filipino cuisine options in the Bay Area.

I’m baaaaackkkk! Went to Chicago for pharmacy school, and now I am here visiting my dear father for holidays. I’m crazily craving for Cali food, and this restaurant first came up into my mind! Service is still great and food is still yummy!!! Everything is still the same! The owners greeted me and gave me big portion(more than what I expected)! They are so nice! Their fried chicken is so good!!! Try it if you haven’t! I even got myself some halo halo, and omg… I miss it so much! There is no halo halo in Chicago, which sucks balls! I’m coming back for more… Before I leave for Chicago again :(

The best Filipino Food that Rancho has to offer! The food is so delicious and the customer service is beyond outstanding. Every time I enter I am greeted by the kindest people and a delicious aroma my stomach craves for. I highly recommend anyone who wants to enjoy a traditional Filipino meal, leaving with an absolute smile on their faces and a stomach greatly satisfied.

Everything I’ve had so far has been great! Reasonable prices, and the menu changes daily. They have seafood, pork, and chicken dishes. Quick service. All the food tastes like it was just made too. Sometimes in places like this, the food can taste days old, but that is never the case here! Highly recommend!

I just discovered… I don’t like Filipino food. However, the service was good and the dinning area was clean. I thought that the selection was very limited and everything looked kind of soupy. The rice was… just plain white rice. I ordered some meat, I think pork, that was in big chunks in some broth. The meat tasted like boiled meat. Not bad but I would certainly not order it again. And it didn’t taste like a slow simmer, tender meat. It tasted more like quickly boiled meat with no seasoning deep inside the meat. You do get a choice of pork pieces with or without stomach lining… I choose no lining. I also ordered some other dish with ground beef and peas and maybe some other stuff. I found it bland and boring. I would not order that again. I would normally give this type of food only 2 stars but since I don’t know what Filipino food is supposed to taste like I went ahead and gave them 3 stars. Who knows, maybe this is the best Filipino food out there? I will not be trying this place again.

This review is far overdue… To start, I am very skittish about giving reviews to Filipino eateries, as one person’s 5 star rating could be another’s 1-star. That said, I happily give my stamp of approval to this place. My family has been eating here since they first opened. The owners are a brother and sister duo and they couldn’t be nicer. Now to the review… Ambiance: Hole in the wall type vibe. Very limited seating. Maybe 5 to 6 tables. I’m not sure if they have central A/C, but they do have fans running as well as a huge cooling machine/fan/portable A/C near the door. Basically, your typical Filipino eatery. One more thing… they have the Filipino Channel running all the time. Food: One of, if not, the best Lechon Kawali I’ve ever had! The cook it uniquely in that they fry it in sections, then cut it to order. This is why their pork is not dried out or overly fried like some of the places I’ve gone to. Their other dishes are status quo for Filipino joints: Adobo, Sinagang, ‘Silogs, Menudo, etc. The menu will change from day to day during the week. I knocked them one star on the review because, in my opinion, they don’t serve Menudo/Caldareta/Afritada/Mechado enough! Price: $ 7 bucks for a two item combo. If you order a la cart, the price ranges from $ 5-$ 10(give or take). Overall, I highly recommend this place. This is my go to Pinoy spot when craving the food of my homeland. Good food, good prices, good customer service… what more do you want?! Oh and by the way… the also cater and offer party tray orders. That’s all for now. Until next time… happy Unilocaling!

Great Filipino comfort food at this turo turo joint on the border of Fontana and Rancho Cucamonga. Combo plates are excellent: 2 entrée items and a big serving of rice. Don’t forget to ask for sabow(soup). The items change daily, but you’ll typically find a fish or two, a few chicken dishes, and a few pork dishes. Sometimes they’ll have a beef entrée as well. I love their pancit because it reminds me of my mom’s recipe(not as good as mom’s, of course!) and I tend to order the fried tilapia for lunch. All of the food is fresh and if something isn’t available, they might cook it to order if you ask nicely. They also serve breakfast here on the weekends — I’ve yet to try it, but other Unilocalers seem to enjoy it. I love the down-home atmosphere of the restaurant. The TV is always tuned to The Filipino Channel, there are touristy photos of different destinations of the Philippines, and the owners are laid back and nice. My family has gotten food catered from here several times and we’ve never been disappointed. Note: If you’re travelling north on the 15, exit Baseline and go left(even though you’ll see Manila Wok on your right), take the first left under the freeway(East Ave), and then take a left into the Roller City Plus center.

Great customer service and one of the best Filipino breakfast in town! I love their tapsilog, longsilog, Tocilog, and the rest of the menu. A must try!
