Prices are very fair for the size. You won’t go wrong if you stick to the udon(especially with seafood) or kimbab and seaweed rolls. Kimchi is succulently fresh. Service is reasonably quick.

This is a good place for both to go and sit-in. Their kimbaps taste pretty good and their other dishes, like omelette with rice and donkatsu are also good. They also provide a good variety of kimbaps and rice dishes. As for price, it’s par for the course $ 6 for a roll and about 10 for most dishes. Overall, I recommend this place!

There was no problem seating my group of six people on a Thursday night at 7PM. I wanted to dine-in here because I usually order delivery and was very impressed by their portion size. The banchan just consisted of spicy raddish and miso soup, but for the price of the entrees I didn’t expect much. I ordered the bulgogi over rice(peep the photo). Just like take-out, the portion size was very generous for $ 10 and was served with a side of salad. If you are looking for some inexpensive Korean food to satisfy your cravings in the Flushing area, swing by to Mr. Coco. At the time when I went, there was 10% off if 2 or more people check in on Facebook.

I discovered this place by accident after dropping off my dogs across the street for their grooming. I’ve had their Korean bbq over rice and their gimbap which have been consistently good. It’s a small no frills Korean spot and if you want fast Korean food it’s a great place to get it.

I, ve been ordering from here since I moved closer to Bayside about a year ago. I have to say. One of the best Korean food in flushing. Their portion and price is ridiculously cheap. On top of that, food quality and taste is superb compared to other korean takeout restaurants. Only restaurant I can compare is Kim’s at union street. I personally think Coco is better in all. I’ve ordered almost all from their menu, nothing has displeased me so far. What I like the most is their fried set dinner, which includes fried fish, tonkatsu, and hamburg steak. I tried others today and yeah… freaking awesome! Their new boodae soup is amazing. Just had to login and leave comment how tasty this place is. Simply, Coco is best when it comes to korean food for all. And they deliver, which I like the most lol, just made 4 menus delivery ;p

Food was okay. and service was terrible — all of them are obviously not experienced waiters… won’t come back. they were fooling around with each other and not paying attention to the customers … tsk tsk one waiter was smoking outside the restaurant. GROSS… it felt like the restaurant was run by high schoolers. absolutely no good. Warning– do not go.

The shaved ice here is heavenly! We got regular and mango flavored. I personally like regular because of all the red beans, but they’re both delicious. I thought the big bowl was a little expensive, but the portions are huge.

So far, over the passed 2 years we ordered from this place it wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t special enough to write anything particular about it. But if you’re looking for just a decent place to eat, then this would be it

I came here because my friends recommended it. It’s a hidden gem! It’s located outside of the main Flushing area and off Northern Blvd. There is only meter parking, so if you’re going during the day, it might be hard to find parking. The place also isn’t very big but the way they arranged the tables, it can seat a lot of people. We ordered one set dinner that came with rice cakes, kimbap, omelet fried rice, and pork katsu. On the side, we ordered another order of pork katsu and kimbap. Everything was fresh and tasty. I loved the katsu, it was crunchy and warm and the sauce was so good. Of course, soup and kimchi were served as side dishes. I enjoyed everything! Another plus is the prices. Everything was cheap! For 5 people, the total was around $ 55. We were really full! In the end, we each got a yogurt drink — which I love! They don’t give a warning before they close the kitchen — so make sure to order everything you want before 9:30pm. I’ll definitely be returning! I just wish public transportation was a bit more convenient.

The food is kind of average and overpriced for what it is. I ordered from here three times for delivery. The first time, they made the hike up to my 4th floor apartment and came to my door. The second two times they called and made me come out. Come on guys, I order delivery so that I don’t have to get dressed or move… And I always tip 20% so I know it’s not because I’m a bad tipper. The store is literally two blocks away so if you’re going to make me get dressed and come out, I might as well have gone to the store. Will be taking my delivery orders elsewhere.

Food is pretty good and the price is nice. Their meal sets allow you to get several things at a good price.

Their kimbap is flavorful and their portions for rice dishes are on point with the prices. It’s worth a try if you’re not in a rush and you live nearby, but otherwise, there are better places in the area. I would have given them 4-stars if their hours were accurate and if they had better customer service. One, they say they close at 10 — FALSE! I got there at 9:30 on a Friday night and they were already cleaning up. I was like, «Okay, maybe they’re just preparing for close.» I walk in and ask if I can still order something — NOPE! And as for the second half of my deduction… Every time I’ve been there I always stand at the counter like an idiot for a couple minutes while they work on things around them — preparing phone orders, making coffee, cleaning the counter, etc. I’m almost never greeted right away and never get to order immediately either. I understand when you’re busy you can’t cater to everyone, but at least acknowledge I’m there and say, «Be with you in a minute.» Le sigh. Luckily I live in the ‘hood and just bop on over for lunch when I’m too lazy to go anywhere else.

The stuff I think is important to know: — Municipal Ticketed Parking in front — Enough space between tables inside for strollers and wheelchairs — Dimensions inside are small enough to make sure ALL seating is near the entrance. Therefore, there is hardly any way to avoid very cold and/or windy and/or hot weather… — Not much public transportation around Service, quality of food, pricing: — Prices are very competitive — Food tastes and looks like good comfort food — The lemonade IS good, like many people said The verdict: If I lived nearby or visited the area frequently, I’d come here more frequently; that’s the only reason why I won’t be coming back. Otherwise, if you’re reading this and are near Mr. Coco and considering walking in, I recommend it for a quick but filling bite that is neither incredibly delicious nor incredibly offensive in taste.

I have come here multiple times for the dishes on their lunch special menu. I give it 5 stars because of the amount and quality of food you get for the price you pay. The wait for food is reasonable as well. Will definitely continue coming back when I am in the area again. For those who are driving: ½ block away from bus stops. You can either pay for parking around the area or you can circle around a few blocks and find free residential parking. They have 1 bathroom. Nice place for small families to come and eat together — clean, comfortable, casual environment.

I came here because a friend recommended this place to me. This place doesn’t seem to be too popular but I’ve been there twice and I noticed they were doing a bunch of take out orders. This place is a medium sized restaurant. They give you only the white spicy radish and yellow sour radish as ban chan. Oh and fish cake soup as an appetizer, which was pretty good. Refills on request. Everything we ordered was good! Except the kimbap. I’d rather go to places known for their kimbaps. We got bulgogi on rice which they stir fry with eggs, onions, and jap chae. The pork katsu with omelette rice was full of flavor. They drizzle a homemade(?) ketchup on top of the egg that wraps around fried rice. These will probably be the only 2 dishes I will ever order when I go there. Each dish comes with a side of macaroni and salad. The macaroni is made with mayo so it sucks. And the salad has too much dressing on it. So just eat the main course and forget the side dishes. And to finish off the meal, when you pick up your check they’ll also give you a tiny yogurt drink as a dessert. Yay free drink!

I came here to eat lunch on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant had a clean and cute atmosphere about it. I ordered the dukbuki soondae kimbab combo which was enough for two people. Portions are decent and prices are pretty good. Service was also quick and helpful. We also had the pleasant suprise of soup with the meal and a yogurutu(yogurt, yakult, w.e. its called) drink at the end. I would definitely come back.

Beef kimbab was good! Considering the fast food vibe, it’s actually better than some places I’ve eaten at.

Came to Mr. Coco for lunch while I was getting my dog groomed a few doors down. Walking inside, the waiters greeted me nicely in Korean, and I quickly ordered: 1) Kimchi Kimbap I was 100% craving kimbap that day, and this dish hit the nail right on the head. The kimbap wasn’t spicy, and was what I finished the most of. 2) Bulgogi over Rice The marinated beef(bulgogi) was dry, and entwined with onions and other types of toppings that I’m not a fan of. There were noodles below the beef pieces, which were alright. 3) Lemonade I ordered lemonade thinking that it would be normal lemonade; however, the first sip, I realized it was carbonated. This was a pleasant surprise though since I actually enjoyed the sparkling lemonade taste a lot :) They had lunch specials, but I found the menu hard to read even though there were Korean to English translations. I ended up ordering these dishes because I knew what they were. There is a noticeable language barrier whenever I order at Mr. Coco, but the service is always courteous and accommodating. The food came with a side of soup, cole-slaw type salad, cold macaronis dish, kimchi, and pickled radish bits. I wasn’t able to finish everything myself, so I asked them to pack it up to go. UPDATE: The food still tasted pretty good a few hours later for dinner :) overall, 3 stars. Would definitely stop by again, but only when I am together with a Korean friend or two. Lastly, prices are affordable.

Update. This place is my favorite of all Kimbap places in Flushing. You get a 10% discount when you eat there and check-in on Facebook(2 or more people). Also, almost every dish I’ve had there is delicious. Their kimbap is good, but their ddukbokgi is the best. They use FRESH dduk, but it’s on the spicier side. If you can’t handle things too spicy, I suggest you let them know. Delivery is $ 10.00 minimum and they are quick. Love Mr. Coco!
