Ordered carry out last night. I was not impressed. It felt dirty inside, the sushi wasn’t anything special. I don’t know about this review claiming to be really familiar with Japan. But I lived in Tokyo for 10 years, my husband is Japanese, and Sushi go isn’t the least bit special compared to a lot of really nearby establishments Overpriced… Food was lack-luster in taste. Many other better sushi places that are worth your money. Here seems like most of these reviews are either made by the owners or workers.

My husband and I went to Sushi Go on New Years Eve to celebrate. The whole day we ate some of our favorite foods to end 2015 and Sushi was on the list. I’ve seen the reviews on Unilocal for a while now, and have been wanting to try it so we decided to give it a shot. We got a Philadelphia roll and a Double Crab roll. The presentation was beautiful! I usually only eat the cooked sushi(crab and shrimp), but I tried the Philadelphia roll with the smoked salmon and was amazed at how tasty it was! We enjoyed every bite! The owners are very nice and friendly. One of the owners even grabbed us both a fizzy drink on the house since it was our first time in. :) We will definitely be back to Sushi Go when we have another special occasion, or if we just want some really good Sushi.

I have made several visits to Sushi Go. Great quality, service, and pricing. I have tried several dishes, and have had great experience with all of them. Ron

A new shop in the area! Worth checking it out! They offer a good variety of sushi and their prices are reasonable!

Received wrong order. Very long wait time for both incorrect and corrected order to be ready. Won’t be back. Asked for a refund while waiting and was denied and told to wait for the correct order. Even once the correct order came, mediocre sushi at best.

This place is best described as a sandwich shop-like sushi bar. Limited seating with counter service. That being said, the sushi is solid. We have been here a couple times and have loved everything we’ve ordered. They even made a simple kiddie roll for our kids. We didn’t order it, they just brought it to us. That brings me to what really sets this place apart. The 2 men that own/operate this place are outstanding! Being in the restaurant industry myself, I tend to over analyze things. Their customer service is some of the best I have ever seen. They are inviting and extremely friendly. This will no doubt be our go-to spot when we are in the neighborhood.

This place is amazing. We have been trying to find a decent sushi place close to home and we finally found one. The owners are very welcoming and gave us free dumplings when we came in. My daughter and I ordered the Tuna Too roll, Eel roll, and scallop nigiri. Then the chef gave us the chef special for free. The food was excellent. They even have complimentary tea. The atmosphere is very quant and inviting. I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends. Oh and they also do delivery! Wahoo!

Delivery for sushi?!? Wish I thought of it but it only works if the product is fresh which it is. Highly recommend.

Second time here. It was As good as I remember. I had the Dynamite Roll and my wife had the Crunch roll and we also got a Hot Mama as a bonus. We also got an order of dumplings. The guy who makes the sushi and I think owns the place is awesome. Very friendly and the sushi is top notch. We always get great service and the food is delicious. The prices are very reasonable as well. We will definitely be back.

Ok any place that delivers sushi is going to be A+ on my list. Not to mention the owner, Mr. Park is so friendly and inviting. My husband and I have been visiting this location for over a year now, he gets 2 Spicy Tuna Rolls with avocado rather than cucumber and the Candy Cane, I get the standard Philadelphia Roll, our total comes out less than 30 $ and the quality is still really good. I’ve also had the miso soup which is great and the seaweed salad which I really liked, though I was hesitant at first. There’s also a nice tea selection that I take advantage of. One of the workers said the prices are so reasonable because they don’t run their restaurant like other major sit-down restaurants(waiter, busser, dishwasher, etc), there’s usually only two workers when I go in, and that’s the sushi chef, Mr. Park, and the cashier. So that’s why the prices are so awesome, it’s not because it’s bad quality fish or anything, there’s just less people to pay. Like this place feels like a family run business, and I’m pretty sure it is. I’ve even met Mr. Park’s daughter and wife, and they are chill too. We’ve eaten there on occasion(we usually get take out) and Mr. Park makes us feel at home, brings out our meal on a beautiful wooden platform plate, and he will sometimes surprise us with an extra something. I brought my daughter-in-law inside to pick up once and he gave her this little Korean dessert candy stuff and told her she was a cutie. She also liked the sushi, she gets the California Roll. Would def recommend, sushi is great, fast, very reasonably priced, and staff is super friendly; it’s nice getting to know the owners of cute little hole-in-the-wall places like this one!

Had lunch there today and it was AWESOME! The Crunch Roll was superb and I highly recommend it. The best thing of all is that their prices are so reasonable. Also Shout Out!!! to Park(master Sushi Chef) for being so welcoming. –Liz

Large rolls, yes, but skinny. Princess Roll fell apart when I tried to pick up. Sushi was ok, but not worth a special drive. Get the regular rolls. The special rolls aren’t worth the extra $ 3. Tiny portions of wasabi. Had a coupon from which they tried to convince me was expired — coupons never expire.

Very nice owners who took care of my friend and I and were very attentive to what we needed. The special rolls were delicious and we left satisfied.

OMG, OMG, OMG! This is some of the best sushi/sashimi/nigri I’ve had in a while and the prices are so affordable especially for the quality of food he is putting out. Service was super friendly. You can tell he takes pride in service.

Love this place. Went in to eat a couple times, and got delivery today. Sushi is really good, and the prices are ridiculously reasonable… $ 8 for special rolls, and $ 5 for regular rolls… can’t beat that. and the quality is really good. I’m pretty sensitive to taste and I can tell when things are off… Today I ordered the volcano roll, and a lot of sushi places the scallops have a weird taste to them, like you can tell their frozen, old, or just not that fresh… but the scallops here have a neutral taste like their are supposed to. I love the«Ida» its a baked roll, probably my favorite of the ones I ordered. Glad this place exists, a little sad I will be moving to Denton, so this won’t be close by anymore :/

I was craving sushi in my part of town, FloMo, so I checked this spot out. I should have paid more attention to the empty parking lot :| Usually not a good sign. Though the man who helped me place my order to-go was super friendly, the sushi itself simply wasn’t anything great. Meh.

It was alright. The rolls are tasty. But all the 3 rolls I ordered were very small even the one special roll I ordered was tiny and didn’t look as big as other people’s pictures. For something quick and easy it’s not bad a step up above grocery store sushi and service was friendly and fast. If I had just ordered a bunch of regular rolls I guess I wouldn’t have felt too disappointed. The regular rolls although smaller that average are about 5 dollars each and it’s a full 8 piece roll too. It not like I expected gourmet sushi but for a cheap sushi fix it will suffice. I’ll just stick to ordering the regular rolls next time. Update: I’ve been back twice now and they’ve greatly improved. The special rolls are much better and hold their shape and they taste delicious they’re affordable and tasty and service is always nice and friendly. I always get full off a special roll and a regular roll which is good cause it’s affordable but I never get stamps that way unless I spend atleast $ 20 dollars, that’s probably the only negative I have about this place now wish they changed it to $ 15 dollars to get stamps because the rewards system is a good idea. I highly recommend the lion king roll it’s my favorite here because of the salmon and crunch bits on top along worth the spicy crab filling I always order it. Make it a double order of that.

This place we drove from carrollton because we had a coupon. Were very surprised that it was so «fast food» and very pricey for a «fast food» place. We ordered miso soup(came in Styrofoam bowls), and a few of the specialty rolls. The chef took quite a while and forgot to make one of our rolls. Took it home and saved it til next day(Not a good idea). It had a cucumber roll base and it was horrific looking and tasting the next day. Otherwise sushi was awesome and i have a new favorite tea that they serve there. tea is free! They just built one close to my house, will return.

My husband and I finally stopped in here after driving past it almost everyday and a recommendation from a friend. We were warmly greeted by the staff and given roll recommendations by what we liked. We ate at the location, but most people take to go or delivery(which is awesome!). We got a avocado, philadelphia and california roll, along with a few of their special rolls. They also brought out a chef special roll at no cost. All of the rolls were amazing and high quality. Avocado was fresh, smoked salmon was perfect. Will be going back soon.

What a great place! Decided to try it out after a late night and I was really surprised by the service. I was immediately greeted warmly and the worker behind the counter was eager to offer his help. Prices are reasonable. Store is small but it’s perfect for what they offer. They definitely focus on take out and delivery. While my family and I waited, they offered us these little star shaped chips. As more time passed they made something for us to try — I think it was the spicy tuna hand roll. I was amazed by the sushi chef who, although had a rather thick korean accent, was so friendly and eager to converse with us. I was having an unsociable day, but because of him and his staff, I was enjoying their conversation. Such a friendly group of people. And the food is just as good! The samplers he gave us were amazing, and I don’t even like tuna as sushi that much. I ordered the Lion King and it was on point. Perfect mix of spicy and sweet. I will definitely come back here. Great food and great service.
