If reviews had titles, this would be called«The Case of the Missing Chocolate Chips». I had plans to watch a movie nearby, so I decided to have breakfast at this location as the cinema is not even a mile away. There wasn’t a line to be seated, so I got a table right away. I was seated at a table in the aisle. My waitress came to take my beverage order several minutes later. She also got my breakfast order since I knew what I wanted. I consider myself lucky this morning. My waitress was attentive not only to me but the tables within my peripheral vision. Whenever she passed by any of her tables, she’d stop and ask if anything was needed. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the food. I chose to dine at IHOP for the Banana, Peanut Butter and Chocolate French Toast. As the photo shows, the dish should be renamed Banana, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate-Free French Toast. I conducted a SAR(Search and Rescue) the Navy should be proud of. I looked between the stack of pancakes and underneath it. I looked under the whip cream. I even moved the slices of banana. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find even one chocolate chip. I don’t fault the waitress for the kitchen staff not doing their job correctly. It’s not her fault for not noticing the dish wasn’t prepared correctly. I didn’t notice it until I started eating it. I’m disappointed she didn’t have the manager come speak to me. This wasn’t a typical menu item. This is a menu item which is being advertised on television. For the kitchen staff not knowing how to make the dish correctly should be a concern.

Went in @ 10:30am, sat for 10 minutes no one ever came by to take drink order or even acknowledge us. Got up and left. Second time its happened at this IHOP. I guess business is so good they don’t need to wait on customer. Will NEVER go back.

I went to IHOP today. the waitress was so so. the food was ok. the silverware was dirty. I asked for new silverware and got some more dirty silverware. there was a couple that set in front of me and they didn’t even know that my silverware was dirty they didn’t see me get up to get new silverware and I noticed that they asked for new silverware because their silverware was also dirty also. the waitress explained that there was no rinse in the dishwasher last night. I have never ever gone to a restaurant and noticed that the silverware was dirty I’m telling you it was really dirty. The waitress was nice about going the extra mile to get me the pancakes I wanted. I was wondering where the warm syrup was? they don’t even ask if you want any warm syrup anymore. You would think a pancake place could serve you warm syrup.

It’s an IHOP so I really can’t say too much about it. I went on a Saturday morning and the place was PACKED. Still it was only about a 15 minute wait so it wasn’t that bad. The food was decent nothing great, but it was pretty clean and the staff was very nice.
