Went for dinner on a weeknight with my daughter. The place was busy with a chamber mixer. We were seated right away, service was great and the atmosphere very welcoming. We had the Texas hash browns with pulled pork and they were awesome. My daughter had a salad with chicken which she enjoyed and I had the mushroom risotto. The beer was great and so was the food. A great addition in Flower Mound which is over run with average at best chain restaurants.

Had never been to this restaurant before, but had seen some good reviews. Tables on a Saturday evening were easy to come by. Wait staff was very attentive. We had the Texas Tots for appetizer and a couple of cocktails. Main entrees were the salmon and the fried chicken with mac and cheese waffles. For dessert, we had the chocolate bread pudding, which was amazing. Overall, the food was superb and the service was very good. We’ll definitely be returning for some drink specials and to sample more of their food.

Dido’s Urban grill is a family owned little Castro pub with a warm atmosphere and a friendly staff. Venue The venu is warm and inviting with a European café feel. The food Always good with a selection nice selection of both standard pub fair sprinkled with more eclectic choices. Service The service is excellent and the owners who are often I the restaurant(big bonus) will always stop by your table to make you feel special and appreciated. This place is a must visit for anyone looking for a family run restaurant that delivers on the quality consistently. They care and it shows. Please support this local business!

Found this place on Unilocal with great reviews. Weird that no google reviews but they just opened 6 months ago and hidden away in the corner. Showed up at 9 when they close at 10. Must say that it was awfully bright in the restaurant and the size was a bit small. None of that mattered once you meet the staff — knowledgeable, great recommendations and even though it was end of night they treated us well and were patient. Food took a bit of time to come out but once it did it was absolutely perfect. Spanish chorizo was excellent. Tried the shrimp deviled eggs, again amazing. Main course was chicken fried pork chop — big plate, perfectly cooked and stays warm till the last bite; the mashed potatoes and gravy were amazing. Had a taste of the Chicken mac waffles… impressive flavors. The Mac is inside the waffle so flavor blends perfectly. This place is a must try.

A gem in Flower Mound, as a girl with numerous allergies and food sensitivities, the owners always take the extra care to make sure I’m taken care of. Amazing food at a reasonable price!

Didos is one of the best restaurants in Flower Mound. I’ve had about 10 items from their menu, and every single thing I had was amazing — but their BULGOLGI sliders are the best! Additionally, great and friendly staff. Very good restaurant and I’m glad they are here.

I’ve waited to write this review, my first two visits were great and I was impressed by the food. The last two visits I’ve been greatly disappointed to the standard which had been set. First of all the people here have always been great but the food has slipped… The chicken has become dry, the burgers have lost the same flavor and when asked for well still comes out red(twice), and the waffles were soggy. The flatbreads are good but really kind of lackluster and lame… Probably not worth ordering. I feel like their new weekly drink specials is a desperate attempt to get people, which is fine but I want the same focus on food! Also if you go when it’s slow you’re not going to enjoy your food… Maybe they should have a lunch menu that is sandwiches only. I really had a hard time writing this review because I know this place is run by good people but I feel like food isn’t what it once was or could be. I want this place to succeed and I want people to give this place a try because it had the potential to be great.

Bulgogi sliders were delicious, slightly spicy. Beer battered parmesan garlic fries were the best I’ve had in ages. Cuban was different, but in a good way. Service was FANTASTIC. Bulgogi, Cuban, good wine and country music, against a back drop of Christmas lights: this girl is walking away very happy.

Family owned restaurant – been open since July of 2015. Really great atmosphere and really great food. I ordered the Ancho Pork Bene, which was spectacular to say the least. The best part of it all is the customer service. The owner of the restaurant came and talked with us for a good while, which was very interesting, especially hearing how the restaurant was started. 5/5, thumbs up. I’ll be returning soon.

We went to Dido’s for lunch today and had a great meal! I tried the sweet potato soup with marshmallow brulee and it was perfect for a cold day. The winter chicken salad was very good with their lemon dressing. My husband tried the sausage of the day and it was pretty good, but the garlic parmesan fries were amazing. We will be back for sure!

Good food, cozy atmosphere. Well executed down to earth cuisine, not pretentious like some of the newer restaurants in the area. The white bean soup was delicious. I’m nor usually a bean person but I really enjoyed the soup. The calamari was tender and crispy. I like the fried okra with the squid. The aioli was a nicely done. Not overpowering like some other restaurants. The Spanish chorizo was rustic style with a coarser texture. That’s a good thing because it means no or less fillers. My only complain is that it was a little heavy on the cumin. The pork belly and bean ragout accompaniment was great and again, I’m not a bean person. The D burger was good but I would have preferred a thicker patty and less pulled pork. Don’t get me wrong. The pulled pork was good but I like the beef to be the star of a burger. Still a good burger. An overall good experience. They also have a decent craft beer menu. Their menu beckons me to return to try more stuff. Definitely will RTE.

Stopped in for lunch today and was very pleased! Finally a place that offers something other than Tex Mex and Pizza. Come to find out DIDO’s is family owned, Mom and Dad work the front of the house and their Son is the Chef. We ordered the Grilled Steak Cobb Salad with Worcestershire Vinaigrette and it was outstanding! The have several great menu items and lots of daily specials too. Great beer and wine selection and Happy Hour from 4 – 7. Pam(owner) was telling us they also do a BRUNCH on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 – 3. We will definitely be back — I can’t wait to try the Ultimate Grilled Cheese next

Visited here for a lunch date with my sister in law. She lives in Flo-Mo and had no idea this place was even here. Thanks to Unilocalers we were able to find it! We shared the bacon and chicken grilled cheese sandwich and garlic Parmesan fries. The Parmesan fries smelled amazing. They were perfectly crispy. Not much Parmesan flavor, though I’ve never had much luck with these anywhere as far as infusing the Parmesan flavor onto the fries. The sandwich was really good. It had a lot of cheese which we were not complaining about. Very good. The sandwich is served with a small spring salad with a lemony vinaigrette dressing. I seriously wanted a bottle of the dressing to take home. As far as the environment it’s a perfect quaint little brunch/lunch spot! We would definitely return when I’m back in town!

Three of went for brunch today. We thought the atmosphere was pleasant. We were greeted warmly, server attentive, bartender also checked on us. Food we ordered was great. squash soup was one of the best any of us had ever had. Chicken and waffle sliders were savory and sweet, crunchy and delicate. Grilled cheese with steak was melted deliciousness. The brussel sprouts with bacon, goat cheese and pecans was a dish that we pretended was healthy because it was a veg… so good, the the sprouts are grated and the bacon mixed in with the cheese and nuts on top. My favorite dish. Bloody Mary with their own mix was good, had a kick but didn’t burn your lips. Unlimited mimosas were a hit also. We will return as there are many interesting menu items. I hope this place is successful, it’s nice to find a place in flower mound that isn’t a chain.

We had really high hopes for this place with the reviews it was getting. I have to say the food LOOKS amazing, but… At least the dishes that we got were so bland! The service was great and the staff was very friendly. We were also very surprised by the atmosphere. Usually I disregard people’s comments on here about atmosphere, but this time I wished I had listened. The space was previously a defunct Italian restaurant and it still feels like it. Awkward placement of the TVs and bar. No flow. No background noise other than the sound of diners. Very strange. Definitely no return trip for us…

Loved this place. The food was excellent– we had DJs Famous Burger and the Chicken and Mac Waffles. Pam(the owner) made it a priority to walk around and see how everyone’s food was. This restaurant is perfect for a casual dinner out. We will definitely be back.

Mostly good food. Poor/mediocre environment. My wife and I dropped in at Dido’s this evening. Our server, Ellie(hopefully I got the spelling correct) was very friendly. There were three other tables aside from ours. We ordered a soup and an order of the Texas Tots for appetizers, both of which were very good. I had seen a pulled pork sandwich in a previous Unilocal review and asked our server about it. She said that the chef had taken it off the menu because he didn’t like it. She then said that she would ask the chef if he would make it for me. I told her that would be great, but if he wouldn’t do it, then the Famous Burger would work. My wife ordered the bacon and chicken grilled sandwich. My sandwich was awesome. I can’t imagine why the chef would take this pulled pork sandwich off the menu. Our server said that he didn’t mind doing it this one time, but that he wouldn’t be offering it in the future. My wife didn’t care for her sandwich. Here’s the disappointing bit: There are televisions on each wall, and they were all tuned to football. To make matters more annoying, the sound from one of them was being piped into the room through the ceiling speakers, and it was loud. The atmosphere was as if the restaurant could not decide between wanting to be a bar and wanting to be a restaurant that serves good food. It was almost too loud to have a conversation at a normal volume. I wish I could say we would go back. The food was pretty good for the most part. Our server was — in fact — very personable and professional, but the overall environment just killed the experience for us. The environment just didn’t match the caliber of food they served. 3⁄5

Best food in Flower Mound hands down. Hearing the reviews made me want to try it and I am skeptical of new places but this establishment has it down. Emily, our server, is great and then when she was busy the other servers paid attention to us and refilled our drinks and asked if we needed things. This something that is seldom done in other places. Great job Emily! The menu is not the biggest selection but that pays dividends when it comes to quality. I had the chicken and waffles and it was perfect. The chicken is beer brined and was cooked top perfection. I also had the wedge salad which included some pork bellie strips that put it over the top. My wife had the salmon which I tried and it was excellent. There are a number of interesting menu items that I want to try. A full bar compliments the food. I have been to twelve stones, prime, verf’s and others and this has the best food by far.
