Blue Mist Motel

Avoid at all costs. They attempted to charge my card despite the fact that I paid cash. The manager was rude to the point of hostility. I needed to stay in Florence for business for 2 – 3 days, so I reserved my room for 3 and paid cash upfront. I ended up checking out at 7 am the 2^nd day and the manager refused to refund the 3^rd day.
The rooms are small and not particularly clean. My tv didn’t work and the bed/​bedding was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on. The staff are loud in the mornings.
All in all this is easily the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. If I have to visit Florence again I’ll either be choosing the other hotel in town or staying in a nearby city and commuting each morning. I strongly urge you to not give this place your business.

You are definitely safe here! The owners are very respectful, price is low. Clean rooms for what you pay for. Though it’s the perfect spot if you do not spend a lot of time in your room. Just ask if you need something, nice place.

Owner would not provide confirmation numbers so we cancelled room after 10 phone calls — 4 months in advance of the intended stay date. He called my wife a liar on the phone. I bet anybody who stays here for any reason would enjoy it a lot…

Cable is ok, but on an older tv. Wireless is hopelessly slow. But, rooms are adequate, and the owners are nice. Plus the ac works well. Overall, a decent room for a reasonable price.
