If you don’t want to read a long review just stop now an GO eat at Mezza because its awesome and thats really all you need to know! Now for the rest of you I’ll let you know about my experience. From the moment you walk in your greeted by the owner Charlie. He is very friendly and his attention to detail is excellent. It seems his entire focus is on the customer having an excellent dining experience. And let me say I was NOT dissappointed. As many know who read my reviews I do not hold back and and very hard on staff and let me say the staff at Mezza were absolutely the best ever! The seemed genuinely concerned about you and you rneeds, they were very knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant. Not only our waiter but other staff members would check in at our table to make sure all was well and if any thing was needed, which is almost unheard of elsewhere! I eat out a LOT and these days it really takes something special to excite me and I tell you my lunch was absolutely AMAZING. Everything was Perfect! Its been two hours since lunch and Im still entranced by the experience. For instance the Falafel was the best Ive ever had, usually they tend to be dry and tasteless, well at Mezza they were crips and hard on the outside and DELICIOUS and MOIST on the inside! best Ive had anywhere let alone Indianapolis(Fishers) next was the chicken kabob, WOW! The chicken was very big chances and it was piping hot and MOIST! i could cut it with my fork it was amazing! Also the Lentil soup was incredible and Im definitely not even a soup fan! Some reviews complain its a little pricey but I felt it was well worth it and would have gladly even paid a little more! The portions are extremely generous and they make sure you have lots of fresh made bread from an oven right in the main floor! I also like that your not given a fifteen page menu here its simply a left and right side menu very simple with plenty of choices for everyone. I can’t really say anything else about Mezza except you owe yourself to check it out as it is a very very nice treat!

Great new Mediterranean restaurant in Fishers. Had some drinks, light dinner, Turkish coffee, and hookah. Cass took great care of us and has my vote for Indy’s Hookah Master. The chicken wings were amazing, the fried Kibbe was awesome. Can’t wait to explore more of the menu. Definitely will be back.

Love the food at Mezza! Fishers has needed good Mediterranean food for a while and I’m glad to say it has finally arrived. The meats are very flavorful and a generous portion. Charlie the owner was so kind and went over the top in making sure we left with warm, fresh, and wonderful food! There will be some leftovers for tomorrow but I will definitely be back because the food and service can’t be topped! Excellent job!

One of our favorite new restaurants! We go often. It’s so nice to have great food that isn’t the normal For the area. My husband and I highly recommend but note that the dinner portions are enough to feed two people, with some leftovers!

Tonight I sampled the grape leaves and of course they were delicious! I grew up eating grape leaves at least once a month and I’d say these are the«critic’s choice!» The service is always fantastic and every member of the staff is warm and friendly!

Food was fresh, veggies cooked perfectly(finally someone in this state who doesn’t overlook fresh veggies!), lamb kabobs were perfectly cooked(Med rare), and the staff treated us like family. I will go back again and again! Thanks for opening up in Fishers!

Our office ordered lunch from Mezza last week and the food was absolutely delicious. It was my first go at Mediterranean and I am only sorry I hadn’t tried it sooner! The Grill Feast came with grilled to perfection juicy chicken and tender steak scewers over mediterranean rice and grilled veggies. Soooo yummy. I also tried the salad with house dressing. It came with fresh crisp lettuce with veggies you’d expect like tomato and cucumber. The best part was their house dressing. It is an oil vinegar base with a blend of flavorful herbs and spices that bring just the right amount of flavor kick to the salad. I LOVED the dressing, if they bottled it I would seriously consider buying. If you like good fresh flavorful food with healthy options I strongly recommend Mezza!

Great customer service! Everything freshly made and next door is a hookah lounge. The owner Charlie and his staff are fantastic. Fishers needed a place like this!

I definitely suggest checking out the menu before going. I am not sure I know enough about Mediterranean food to have an opinion on the authenticity of our meal, I’ve had a total of about a dozen Mediterranean meals in my life. So, I’ll comment on the facts of the meal. We ordered chicken shawarma and lamb kabobs. The chicken shawarma dish had a fair amount of food: salad, lots of veggies, and about a breast and thigh, maybe a little more, of shredded chicken meat. The meat felt dry, buy maybe that’s what shawarma is supposed to be like. The veggies were just a tad under done, but I like that better than over done. Salad was good, basic with a ton of onions. My hunny bunny had the lamb kabobs. He says they were cooked well done and lamb shouldn’t be well done. Opinion? Fact? You decide. Total cost: $ 43. In comparison to most of the other restaurants in the area, this was a little pricey. Okay. Very pricey. $ 20 for 8 ~1.5″ cubes of lamb and a heaping pile of rice was a lot. You might say it was«lamb» though. I would say how about the $ 18 chicken and veggies? It was slightly disappointing, too say the least. At least the server was nice and offered suggestions. There was bread and dipping sauce. Even though the bread was«fired» in an «open flame oven» with no real wood to speak of, we enjoyed it. Take it for what it is, a little more money for a different type of cuisine. There’s a bar next door that will serve booze and the full restaurant menu if you’d like your meal accompanied by an adult beverage. I’d say try it out. Just expect to pay a bit more than anywhere else nearby.

Great atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food — an overall great experience. I’m a big meat eater so I highly recommend both the beef and chicken shawarma — the meat is perfectly seasoned and very tender. The hummus is the best I’ve tasted in Indy, and the fresh baked bread comes straight out of the wood burning oven to the table.

Fantastic. I was excited to see a new Mediterranean restaurant coming in here and was anxious to try it. In the past three weeks we have dined here 3 times. The kababs and absolutely fabulous — especially the lamb. It is some of the best I have tried. The sauces with them are outstanding too. The tabbouleh, baba ganoush and hummus are excellent as well though I prefer a bit more flavor in hummus. Still it is the second best in town in my opinion. Finally, do not miss the Lebanese baklava. It is different than Greek as it is rolled and much more suttee in flavor. Charlie, the owner has been there every visit and always greets every party, asks how we are doing and suggests things to try. The amount of food is overwhelming so we have had an extra meal to take home every visit!

I was going to give this place 4 stars, but the customer service really pulled in that fifth star. The owner and servers were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. They kept checking in on us to make sure the food was good and were more than willing to replace anything we didn’t like. I went with my family for lunch around 2pm. We ordered hummus, which was smooth but a little heavy on the tahini. The free bread and dipping oil were absolutely delicious. I ordered a grilled beef kabob lunch entrée with rice and tomato basil soup. The soup was good, nothing out of the ordinary. The presentation of the platter was beautiful. You get A LOT of food, so definitely be prepared to take home leftovers. The kabob was good. A little dry but flavorful. I loved the pickled beets and tomato salad that came with the meat. If you don’t want rice, you can opt for French fries or vegetables to go with your meat. They treated us to some free baklava at the end, which was fresh and crunchy. Overall, a great Mediterranean place to try. Definitely in the top 3 here in Indy.

I had high expectations for this new resturant. Perhaps my expectations were a bit too high. We chose to go around 11AM on Sunday for a «brunch». I had heard from others that the place is packed later on so we were hoping to avoid the crowds. I order a Chicken Shawarma Platter and my guest ordered the Beef Shawarma platter. We also ordered Hummus as an appetizer. Overall I felt it was just ok– probably not enough to pull me back. My food was not served hot-just lukewarm. The fries were not all the way cooked through– there were cold spots. The hummus had an overwhelming ranch flavor and was served cold. I prefer hummus to be made fresh at room temperature. I could have overlooked the food issues but service was below average. Our waitress took our drink order, but never checked in for refills. My guest ordered rice but received fries. We ordered Hummus but had to ask for extra bread to go with it. Perhaps once the place is up and going another review will be in order.
