When walking in, the entrance is beautifully decorated and well lit. I felt relaxed just walking in. I had booked an hour Swedish massage and checked in with the front desk. They gave me a waiver/health form to fill out. Once I did, my masseuse was available almost immediately. I was able to change within the room in private and nestled under the covers(seriously the most luxurious blankets I’ve ever felt). My masseuse, Kathy, was very kind especially since this was my first massage ever. She could tell I was in pain without my saying or without seeing my face and she adjusted her pressure accordingly. I almost fell asleep, it was so relaxing! The atmosphere in the room was soothing, with the temperature just right. Afterwards, they accepted my gift card with ease(despite it being a photocopy). Overall, a luxurious experience. My only gripe is that I wasn’t offered water or a drink or anything when I checked in but since my masseuse was ready so quickly, I guess I can’t complain!

I’ve been going to this place for a few years now to see Alla for electrolysis and she is absolutely amazing. I have been to many other places and nothing compares to her work! She is so professional, attentive and takes her work very seriously. She makes sure all her equipment is clean, which is very important to me because it’s easy to get an infection if the equipment isn’t. Also she will give you the best advice and is the nicest person. I would recommend Alla to everyone, she is the best electrologist in the city!!!

1. Services were over priced and awful. 2. Owner is the most unprofessional, unkind, and rather racist individual I have ever met. 3. If you ever need to be refunded, mention writing a bad review and then follow up with your bank to ensure that these horrible business people actually return your money. I received a partial Brazilian wax and was burned and injured pretty badly by the waxer. Came in the next day to remedy the problem, was told to purchase a cooling mask, and then sent on my way. Called the day after that to ask about a refund due to some serious scarring on the waxed areas and was blown off. After hours of calling, speaking with receptionists, waiting for the owner to return, and ultimately stating that I was coming into the spa to handle this issue, I was finally contacted by the owner, whose response to my complaints and obvious discontentment was to tell me not to come in because she has clients, that I need to send her photos of my burns/scars, that she would not be issuing a refund, and that she was calling the police to meet me at the spa. Not completely sure what she was expecting me to do upon arrival or why she felt it was necessary to have police called… but I digress. Upon arrival, there were no police there, but I was assured they were on their way; the owner was unwilling to meet with me, the receptionist was unwilling to speak to the owner on my behalf, and I ultimately left becasue I realized I left my wallet(with the card used at the location) at my home. At this point I felt it was necessary to bring my mother with me when I went back. As I am driving back to the spa, I received 4 – 5 calls from both the business line at the spa as well as the owner’s personal line alerting me of the police’s arrival and inquiring about my current location. I assured them that I was, in fact, on the way there and that I would be arriving shortly. Their response was«the police cannot wait all day. Where are you? It’s been fifteen minutes.» I finally arrive at the spa and I call a few times to make sure someone is there, no response from neither the business line nor owner’s personal line, so I boarded the elevator and proceeded up to the Spa. Once inside I was ushered into one of the back rooms with the owner and the door then closed. She proceeded to verbally accost me, with remarks like«show me your scars, MY employees ALWAYS render PERFECT service and ALL clients are ALWAYS happy. No one has ever had a problem aside from you» and even after showing her the multiple scars on my face and other waxed areas, she still requested more photographic evidence of my skin before receiving the procedure, as if I would lie about this horrific experience. The entire time this woman is screaming at me and my mother was not«allowed» into the room by any of the attendants(after she heard the yelling, she proceeded to enter the room regardless of what she had been told to ensure my safety). Ultimately, I was told by the owner that since I threatened to write a bad review about the spa, that I would not be receiving a refund and that I could leave… regardless of the pain, obvious scarring, and time spent trying to remedy this issue. She even tried to have me put in writing that if I received a refund, I would not write a bad review. I obviously signed no such document and was extremely firm in my need to be refunded on the spot. I received an email«confirmation» of refund(with no actual confirmation number therein) and followed up with my bank just to be safe. My experience after having my skin desecrated, my time wasted, my money taken, and my person and character disrespected and degraded by the OWNER of the establishment is beyond unforgettable. I would not recommend ANYONE visit this establishment for any purpose whatsoever. For services with such a steep pricetag, I was at least expecting to be treated like a person.

My favorite spa in the city!!! I have tried a number of top notch spas in the city and Le Reve by far beats them all. My favorite aspect is their attention to detail, especially when it comes to facials. In my experience most places will either leave your skin raw and over treated or your pores still clogged. Not here! My facialist took her time and did a thorough cleaning, but my face was GLOWING in the end, not red and irritated.(and I have sensitive skin!!) Also most places will put on a mask, leave you alone for 20 minutes, poke at your face, put another mask on and leave you alone for 20 minutes, and that’s the end of your facial. But again not at Le Reve. Alla stayed present in the room the entire time, and did a comprehensive facial treatment like it SHOULD be. There was cleaning, exfoliating, deep cleaning, toning, facial massage, mask, some more massage, and another mask and serum. I truly felt pampered! I treated myself to a SPADAY and also had a microderm and a massage. Both were excellent and I came out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Other things of note that I absolutely LOVE: 1. Their hours! I don’t know about you, but I work during the day. I love love love the fact that they are open late EVERY night! Also when I call to make an appointment, I don’t have to wait a month to be seen, they are very accommodating. 2.Yummy fruit infused water or wine while you wait :-) 3.The staff are super nice, and never pressure you to buy their products or make your next appointment today. Last but not least, ELECTROLYSIS. I’ve been going here for a few months for treatments, and I am obsessed how fast I saw results and how painless the experience was. I remember digging my nails into the chair from pain in other places. But Alla is phenomenal, she is like the fairy god mother you always wanted to make you beautiful!!! She is super gentle and super nice. Seriously though, if you haven’t been here yet… RUN to Le Reve. They are THAT good!!!

I scheduled a spa day with my girlfriend; massage, mani/pedis and specifically requested(paid for) use of the wet sauna [which we were told we were scheduled to use after massage before nail treatments.] After waiting in the lobby 30 minutes passed our appointment time we had our massages and were informed that the girls before us were«taking too long» and staying«in there for over an hour» and we should wait. We wait, were told they still were taking too long and it’s «very busy» so we should do our nail treatments. The mani/pedi room was over crowded so they set up a make-shift manicure station in the massage room; they kept the lights just as dim as you would a massage. Suffice to say, manis looked like they were done in the dark. The staff, while sweet, were so incredibly frantic. They were rushing around feverishly constantly telling us how busy it was today. This was not relaxing and actually gave me insane anxiety and made me feel guilty for even expecting them to provide me services. After pedicures we were told it’s «probably» not a good idea to get in the sauna with wet nails and toes(duh) and we could dry our nails while we sat in the«relaxation room.» We dried and lounged and then were told they needed the room for another couple. We were never able to use the saunas as we scheduled(and paid an extra fee for!); furthermore, it was never even acknowledged that we never got to use the facilities. Finally, we were each charged $ 15 for removal of gel nail polish. I am not accustomed to paying a removal fee when I’m paying for a manicure; especially when I am being charged $ 90 for a basic, french mani/pedi. At the very least I would have appreciated a heads up about this charge, because I could have [would have] peeled off my old gel mani myself for free in the 60 minutes we sat around waiting. It was especially frustrating to pay for this particular service because this was at the height of the hurried, frantic staff losing it– they were spilling acetone all over the place and aggressively grabbing and chipping away at my nails and fingers. We were overcharged at least $ 10– I thought it was even more than that but found out about the gel removal fee. We also realized after the fact, that a «couples massage» is not in fact just two massages occurring simultaneously in the same room, yet it is a package including champagne and use of the saunas for an extra $ 25. I’ve already addressed that we were not afforded use of the saunas. Regarding the champagne… it would have been a nice touch. But we called and said we were two girlfriends that wanted massages in the same room and one was a prenatal massage. I would think a heads up would be in order that the pregnant woman was being charged for a package that included champagne. In fact, there was an extra $ 10 for prenatal massage, which is fine; however getting the package charge with booze and the upcharge for prenatal? I willingly declined champagne(did not realize it was paid for by us and wasn’t going to drink alone), but again the sauna just was not available for our use — so between the two of us that’s $ 50 in extras we didn’t get, $ 30 in aggressive gel removal, and $ 10 overcharge on a Shellac mani(all service menus quote shellac mani at $ 40, we were charged $ 50 for Shellac). Look, browse the menu and it’s obvious that(especially nail treatments) are outrageously priced — but we expected it. We looked at the service menu prior to scheduling and expected to pay for what we received, according to the quoted price for those services. But, to pay an extra $ 90 for: cost of services magically inflating without advance knowledge, not getting services that we paid for, and surprise charges for an inappropriately executed gel removal are things I’m not willing to pay for. Additionally, I only went to this spa based on , as I had multiple spaweek gift cards to use; they refused to honor the giftcards. I was in contact with Spaweek, who spoke with the owner of the spa and the owner agreed to retroactively honor the giftcards. She was given the gift card numbers and told them I would be refunded the amount of the gift cards to my original form of payment; however, they would need to get in contact with me first. I provided my contact information and have yet to hear from them. They are also ignoring my emails. So at this point, I paid for services that were not made available to me, services that were done poorly, overcharged, & they took the $ 80 worth of gift cards & never refunded me for them. I am owed LEAST $ 90 and they are refusing to respond. I was willing to chock a lot this up to a rough day — However, after seeing how they respond after the fact I see that it is just extremely poor customer service. I will update this review if I am ever reached out to and the egregious errors are rectified.

Absolutely great day spa. The very sweetest people! I was having a rough day and these ladies definitely put a smile on my face. I received a reflexology pedicure and a swedish massage. Price is pretty decent Naggie and Lena thank you! Naggie is an excellent masseuse and Lena has a heart of gold! I would recommend for anyone to come here!
