Farm to City not only connects people to CSA’s — it also manages about 17 farmers markets in Philly and the suburbs — including the Rittenhouse Square Farmers Market. Run on a shoe-string, this much needed organization advocates on behalf of the farmer. They help many Philadelphians with access to fresh produce.

Farm to city is a Philadelphia program that brings fresh crops on a weekly basis to various locations throughout the city. It’s goal is to connect the city with its surrounding region through its farmers and their crops, creating a city rich with healthy and locally grown crops. You can join for a fee, and have fresh farm grown produce delivered once a week to a variety of locations in the city. Most of the vegetables are 100% certified organic, and a large portion of the fruits are as well. Plus the money you spend to join goes directly to local farmers and supports Pennsylvanians! Check them out! They’re amazing!
