You gotta love your neighborhood party store, just like any good metro Detroiter! Farmington Party Store is my local go-​to shop for all kinds of alcoholic needs, especially since its walking distance from my place. The owners and their son are super cool. Other than the super cool owners, this is totally your typical liquor/​party store; stocking beer, wines, basic food, smokes and a small selection of dirty mags (lol). And yep, I’ll keep on coming buy as long as the white wine is cold, the better-​made chips are BBQ and the owners are smiling.

Hey Dude, can you buy me some beer?
OK, time to come back from my teens hanging out out in front of a liquor store and hoping somebody would buy me some beer. How about some Boone’s Farm Apple? Maybe even some MD2020? OK, today nobody hangs around this party store like we used to, but the owner, Sam and his family are always there with a smile and a friendly greeting. The prices are fair, even if just stopping for a bag of ice if your power goes out to save your food. They offer fresh sandwiches, and a good selection of wines.
