WORST bbq experience I’ve ever had! My wife and I ate here for Black Friday and place was completely dead. The few workers there were very unprofessional and did not seem to know their own menu. We ordered the Picnic family meal and the guy almost didn’t want to let us order it because he thought we wanted the«catered» Picnic which feeds 10+. Dumbass. Probably been over 5 years since I had Dickey’s BBQ but I decided to give them a try since they were across the street from Best Buy where we were. Bad idea. So when trying to check out, they kept asking what it was that we ordered, and kept asking us how much it should have cost and what the order was. SO annoying to have to repeat your own order and it was so obvious they didn’t know what their own menu says(they kept looking at the menu themselves to verify what we said). Then at the registrar I stood there for about 5 – 10 min while they tried to sign in their own registrar. Non apologetic and terrible customer service. We did receive a drink each but still not worth the hassle and wait. The food was terrible, dry, non-flavorful. I should have known food was going to be bad since no-one was there and was not fresh. Didn’t even have good flavor on it. For the Picnic family meal comes with a pound of 1-meat, 2 sides, 4 rolls. We got the beef brisket, bbq baked beans, and potato salad. Rolls were not soft and the entire meal was NOT hot OR even relatively warm. Only the bbq sauce that was constantly kept hot in the sauce warmer was hot. We ate there since we didn’t have time to go home and eat because we had to be somewhere afterwards. Almost the entire time eating, the staff was complaining about management and other problems they had which was very awkward and shitty environment to eat it. To make matters worst, the guy started to talk directly to us about these issues WHILEWE’RETRYINGTOEAT. Stay far away from this place. Not worth your money or time. They dont deserve the 1 star min.

Best bbq in Dallas. Even though I came in close to closing, the two young me were very kind to square me away. I wasn’t able to catch their names but it was a younger black male as well as a younger black male. I went in on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Elite professionals. I’d go here any day as the food is superior and the staff are seasoned experts. Top of the line service is what I call it.

This Dickey’s location deserves 5 stars for their outstanding customer service. I had to organize a catered event for 20 people in less than 24 hours. Despite the short notice, their employee Gabriel was so helpful. He helped me pick out menu items and made recommendations for the number of people attending. The day of the event, he followed up with a phone call to let us know everything was on schedule and ready for pickup. Our clients were happy with the quality and taste of the food and there was plenty for everyone. Thank your for not turning us down for a last minute event!

Disappointed — ordered the XL Family Pack. Says 4-sides. The Limited Time Offer says double the sides. the guy at Dickey’s was unaware of that offer so I showed him on my phone. He honored it but I came home with only 3 sides(though doubled as they should be). I think it would have been good if I didn’t have to show him the Limited Time Offer. Also(as a point of customer service) if he could have pointed out that there were only 3-sides with that offer. I would have paid extra.

I’ve got to say I had excellent customer service here. Read a few reviews that didnt but not my experience. I was greated the second I walked in and every one was super friendly. They let me mix and match some stuff to accommodate my kids which was a big plus for me. They even came by and cleared my table for me, a 1st for me at any Dickeys. FYI, this location has the BEST ice cream of all the Dickeys I’ve been to. I’m letting a cone get a little soggy as I’m doing this review. Only bad thing for me was the bathroom. It was below standards for any Dickeys I’ve been to. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t clean either. O and plus the door almost like broke my arm on the way out. I guess the spring on the door is like set at CATIPULT tight and it really jacked my forearm up. I cussed all the way back to my seat. I would come back and hope for the same customer service but a cleaner bathroom minus the killer door.

Employees are incompetent. No management at all. Dirty place to eat. Employees went to bathroom and was out of soap then went straight to go cut meat. Gag me. Do not go here

I can’t believe Dickie’s either had the balls or was dumb enough to open up a 7-iron away from Cattleack Bbq. Maybe their strategy is to get all the people that drive by Cattleack and see the line out the door to give up and just settle for Dickies? Haha. Decided to give this location a shot, as I can’t stand the one on Marsh and Belt Line. Walked in and it was very clean, and very empty. 1 o’clock in the afternoon and they were out of sausage. The food was typical Dickie’s fare. Not the kind of BBQ you brag about to your relatives from the north. This place will be closed in 6 months. Not trying to be harsh, but just not impressed. Saw that someone posted about the okra being really good, and I agree. Also, the green beans were way better than the other Dickie’s in the area. Lastly, the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, still doesn’t make up for the bland, dry bbq.

They have specials for every day of the week. The food is consistent and decent BBQ. It’s no pecan lodge but only pecan lodge holds that prestige. :) I ordered the Saturday special which was a brisket sandwich, with two sides and a drink. I slathered it in BBQ sauce and chief down. Their sweet tea is pretty tasty too! Of course my favorite part was the complimentary tasty ice cream available, yum. I’m never on this side of town so I may never be back but I appreciate the speedy service and friendliness as well.

This location is a joke. It’s always disorganized, messy, and run by incompetent employees. Went there for lunch and they ran my card for $ 74 when I only should have been charged for two daily combos. I will not be visiting this location again. We loved this burger place that was in this location before, but this was a huge let down.

This Dickeys location is great! We come in every weekend and they take great care of us! They always recognize us and they go out of there way to make us feel comfortable! We recently ordered the holiday feast for Thanksgiving and it was great.

Good food, fast service with a smile. The turkey, brisket and sausage were good. Don’t skip adding the BBQ sauce beside the fountain drinks, particularly if you find smoked meats«dry.» I like the sweet with the turkey and original with the brisket. I have eaten at other locations and the quality here is consistent with them.

Not the best barbecue I’ve had, but not the worst either. I got the three meat lunch plate: ribs, pulled pork and brisket, served with BBQ beans and coleslaw. A buttered roll, pickles and onions on the side. At $ 13, I expected a little more, but at the end of the day, it was probably a decent serving size. Two ribs: fairly dry and a little on the overlooked side. Pulled pork: fat, gristle, and a little more fat Sliced brisket: fatty, but flavorful. The highlight on the meal. The beans and coleslaw were fine. I appreciated the side of sliced onion, which every proper BBQ place should offer. All in all, well it wasn’t great but I still ate it all…

Don’t waste your time. Horrible customer service and dry meats. I will not return and would not recommend this location.
