pizza is fantastic; however, it either never arrives or arrives 90 minutes too late. after 3 tries(we live about a mile away), we gave up. they need to get their act together.

How do I give zero stars??? I can’t rate a pizza I don’t have! Usually the pizza is pretty good. But a 90min + delivery time(I don’t know for sure yet since it still hasn’t arrived) when the order confirm said 45 min is a bit insane. On top of it, when I called they were neither apologetic nor helpful beyond saying ‘well, the driver already left’… They didn’t even bother to check with the driver until the second time I called. I complained to Eat24 and they received the same run around… Follow up– pizza just arrived: 97 minutes… No, the pizza is not hot, or even close to it.

ordered during traffic time and still arrive in a timely manner. i’m still deciding if naked pizza is better than zpizza. i can tell you that i wroke up in the middle of the night with crucial stomach pains… ordered the vegan & wings… not sure why but thank god i had some ginger ale, pain lasted 2hrs :/overall, wasn’t impressed with the taste but you judge for yourself. will stick with naked pizza

Incredibly disappointed. This place sucks. Pizza was supposed to take 45 minutes. Instead it took two hours. And they refuse to answer the phone so I could find out where it was. So I had to make my kids something else for dinner. It shows up. I’m so annoyed I don’t check the pizza. Of course, I open it and it’s wrong! But I can’t call them to tell them because they don’t answer the phone. They lost a customer. Never again.

Delicious fresh flavors in the California Salad and Tuscan Pizza with added Italian sausage. Easy online ordering and good delivery. I will definitely order from them again when I visit Falls Church.

Pizza is good and I like the daily lunch deals. Topping and crust variety is nice also. Usually go into eat, haven’t got take out or ordered over the phone. But this place is pretty tiny, there are a few places to sit but very limited. More of a grab and go.

With all the coupon offerings and seeing no real response by the owner, I understand why this business won’t be here long.

Ordered a pizza over the phone and arrived 15 minutes later to pick it up. They hadn’t started making it yet. Instead they were busy prepping to close since it was about 20 minutes before closing. So I got to watch my pizza being made — glad I did! They had the plastic cutting board removed to clean the metal counter underneath it. The guy cleaning the counters put down his dirty cleaning rag and without washing his hands grabbed some dough and started making my pizza. Really!?! Just kneed all that cleaning solution, dirt, and germs from your hands right there into my pizza dough for me. Thanks! Then the cashier, after ringing me up, went into the back(presumably the walkin-fridge) and came out with a handful of toppings for my pizza and put them on that metal counter that wasn’t cleaned yet, with all that warm nasty food juice and food particles that fell behind the crack of the cutting board after a day’s worth of pizza making. Not only did she have bare hands after touching my credit card and the register, she put my toppings down on that nasty counter and contaminated those too!!! Were they intentionally trying to give me food poisoning? After witnessing the numerous unsanitary actions in the process of making my pizza, I asked for an immediate refund and left without any food. I will not risk food contamination under any circumstances. Throwing up for 8 hours isn’t worth you cutting corners to go home 5 minutes earlier. Will never go back!

This pizza was good, but not what I’m looking for in take-out pizza. zpizza is more like the gourmet type of pizza you’d get at a somewhat upscale restaurant. I got the Italian. It was quite good. The toppings and fresh and there were premium ingredients. However, the pizza had prosciutto, and I maybe got two pieces on the whole pizza. Also, the crust was very hard, to the point where my mouth was tired from chewing. There is also not a lot of pizza for the price. Without the Unilocal deal… I’d say this pizza is not worth the price tag. The service was good. I wanted to pick this pizza up after my yoga class(hey, I can eat pizza if I go to yoga, right? They totally balance each other out — at least that’s my logic), and the staff was accommodating in having a fresh out of the oven pizza ready an hour and a half after I called.

Definitely a fan of the pizza here. Sure you pay a premium price but then again you get a premium pizza. Be sure to order at least 30 – 45 minutes ahead of time for take out because it ain’t Domino’s fast. Be sure to use the Unilocal check-in offer.

Vegan pizza! I bought a Unilocal deal and saved 40%. Bought it while standing in the store itself. They have Vegan cheese and a full Vegan option. It was great.

Vegan options! I have to at least give 4 stars to any place that has Vegan options. I still have to say that Papa John’s taste better. It very well might be because PJ is made from fake stuff and is worse for you. Also Zpizza is crazy expensive if you don’t show up with a coupon. Make sure to clip your Unilocal coupon or something from Google places. That then makes the prices ok. Also I just found out that WHoel Foods makes Vegan pizzas(but they dont put on fake cheese like zpizza does).

Does not honour coupons mailed to your house. I was about to leave and then they changed their mind. So much for second chances…

Honestly, I’d give this place 4, maybe even close to 5, stars for their pizza, which is really quite good. It’s the service that earns it only one star. Nearly every time I’ve ordered, it’s taken at least double the amount of time that was promised for my pizza to be delivered. I could understand if I lived far and there was traffic, but I basically live around the corner and rarely tend to order during rush hour. Tonight was the final straw. Over 2 hours after ordering my pizza, I have given into the idea that it is not going to come. Unacceptable! I will never order from here again.

Really good pizza. Gourmet. Unique. Individualized. Yum! So not like traditional pizza delivery companies. Awesome. PS Always check for delivery coupons. Nice!

4 stars for pizza and wings but 2 stars(or less) for service. Every time we order from here there is some type of problem with our order. The staff behind the counter look like young teens and there seems to be a lot of confusion. Papers everywhere, can’t find orders. Last time they rang my husband up for the pizza and wings, but hadn’t made the wings. When he asked about the rest of the order they couldn’t find it. We won’t go back to Falls Church.

The same thing happened to me as Eric H!!! I AMSOFURIOUS!!! I have been ordering delivery from ZPizza for 7 years. SEVENYEARS. And tonight, the«manager» Robert, who sounds like a confused 19-year-old at best, tells me they no longer deliver to me. When I questioned him, he said they must have been exceptions in the past. EXCEPTIONSFORTHEPASTSEVENYEARS?! And I’ve never heard a word about this before? I am literally .4 miles outside their«delivery range.» Robert was unhelpful and could only tell me he was«sorry I felt this way.» I informed him I wouldn’t be a customer of his establishment anymore and he said nothing. I am SO disappointed. This is such a great pizza place but you’ve lost a dedicated customer. Shame on you ZPizza for treating your customers this way. SHAME.

What’s maddening is that zpizza has a good product-nice crust(including a whole wheat option), high quality ingredients, interesting toppings/combos and really good salads. They even have a pretty good gluten free crust, for those on a GF diet. The problem at this location is service. We’ve had problems with botched orders on both delivery(before they decided to stop delivering to our neighborhood) and pick up. Wish the service could be as good as the food.

QUARTERSTARFORTHESE D BAGS So…after ordering from these guys for almost 4months… EVERYWEEKONWEDNESDAYS for my office’s pizza night, they decide they can’t deliver to us b/c we’re «outside of their delivery range» Which is only 4.6 miles by the way… UNREAL…i called & spoke to some kid & offered to tip an extra $ 40 to the driver for them to deliver it… still a no go. Unbelievable to me how people LITERALLY don’t want $$$. Tough shit Z pizza — you just lost a $ 300+ order EVERYWEEK just b/c your driver doesn’t want to drive in traffic… THEREISTRAFFICEVERYWHEREINTHISAREADUMBASS!!!
