La Caseta Fine Mexican Food

I have always loved La Caseta! My favorite dish is the Burrito Verde (smothered in verde sauce and cheese on top… so good). Recently I went for Taco Tuesday for the first time and fed 2 adults for less than the cost of going to Chipotle! We especially loved the Fried Avocado Taco. It sounded like a fun thing to try and were pleasantly surprised to find it was our favorite taco out of the 4 we ordered. Delicious!

I have visited this restaurant twice now. Both meals: MMMMM. Fist off, if you are in the area on Cinco de Mayo (May 5) go! They have a free queso dip which is extremely unique on this day. Almost white in color, with just the right amount of spice. Their salsa is really wonderful. Mix the two: aaaah! I had the two combo entrée the first time with steak tacos, and a beef burrito enchilada style. MMMM. Salad greens for the salad were fresh, and their standard dressing was good. Great service both times. Owner, Delos, is on hand and answers questions at will: no hesitation and one can tell he is coming from the heart in his responses. Since this is local, I plan to return. What a phenomenal taste for your standard Mexican restaurant with the familiar Acapulco paintings and memorabilia from Mexican markets decorating the place with a spot of dust coating them. I’ll return, no doubt.

I was disappointed. The food was okay and the service was good. It wasn’t authentic tasting food. There is much better Mexican food in Fallbrook.

Waiter was nice but the food was not good. The meat and rice tasted old. There are other places in fallbrook that taste much better.

Great local spot. Got the nachos and enjoyed them. Service was a bit slow but I think there was a festival so it was pretty busy. They had live music there, not sure if it’s an everyday thing but it’s always cool to have live music. The food is decent and the prices are fair.

The food was great! The atmosphere was casual dining. Honestly this place might be my new favorite Mexican restaurant.

The happy hour is pretty sweet. Appetizers from $ 5-​$ 6 and drink specials. We had a young man wait on us and I didn’t catch his name but he was friendly, quick, and seemed to be working the bar, every table in the bar, and the dining room, too. He still pulled it off and stayed on top of everything.

Nice find off Main Street and a lot bigger than it looks from the front. Fast service and food was delicious! We had the Chicken Enchaladas (different approach as a triple decker) and the Steak (very moist and flavorful) lettuce wraps (i.e. three small salads). Live music at the BeerGarden next door too.

La Casita is a long time Fallbrook Mexican Cusine preferred Restaurant. Great Food, Great Service, helpful and friendly service with a Smile and always a laugh. I’ve celebrated may fond memories and life’s events at La Casita. Thank You for Your consistancy of overall quality of service and community support through the years!

Can’t complain about the avocado tacos! Perfect for us veggie heads! Yum!!! Quick customer service and cute authentic place!!!

Don’t let the spanish name fool you, this is white bred Mexican food. My El Pastor was previously cooked and arrived luke warm. All the flavors tasted bleh and like every other gringo Mexican-​style restaurant. Prices are also a bit on the high side given the quality. Recommend hitting up any of the other restaurants in the area before this one.

My husband and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and Laura and the crew went above and beyond great customer service. Being a server myself, I am usually very critical about other restaurants and good service. Laura blew me away! The food, the drinks, the service everything was over top top notch! Our friends and family really enjoyed themselves. Thanks! We will definitely be coming back!

Simple, friendly, peaceful, relaxed are the first thoughts that come to mind. I was a party of one waiting for my car to get detailed. The waiters were busy with bugs parties and the manager/​owner was extremely helpful and stepped right in! And the Carne Asada was great! Good flavor and tender. Must try!

The salsa is the main event. Food is pretty good too. Had the chile relleno and taco plates. Both good. Service was excellent. Will go back and try more. Stay tuned…

La Caseta is our very favorite Mexican Restaurant. The service is always GREAT!!! The servers are friendly and attentive. It is family owned and operated. The owner graduated from Fallbrook High School and gives back to the community in many ways. The food is WONDERFUL and so are the prices!!! And we love that they have a senior and a kids’ menu. We have friends who come to town occasionally and it is always the place they want to go.

I have heard many great things about this restaurant so I decided to give it a try. Oh boy… it was really great! The atmosphere was peaceful, the food was delicious and the customer service was spectacular. Definitely coming back here again soon!

Oh my! Been wanting to try these lobster enchiladas for years. Came for Taco Tuesday but couldn’t resist and boy am I glad I tried these! Oh the sauce, and the chunks of lobster! Hubby’s pazole was perfect for this rainy evening too! La Caseta is da bomb!

My boyfriend & I ate here on Wednesday night and a few hours later my boyfriend got terribly sick, he was up all night throwing up. We suspected it was food poisoning. We won’t be eating here anymore. We both really enjoy Mexican food it’s one of our favorite foods but this was a bad experience and won’t be eating here anymore.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Fallbrook! The flautas and the burrito especial were delicious and the chips and salsa are the best!
