Great food and great service. Bar service was pretty good last time my wife and I went. Worth every penny.

My wife and I came here for a nice dinner and our experience was awesome! The food was excellent, our waiter was superb. He was attentive, always had our orders correct, he made sure that we always drinks, and allowed us to take our time and eat and not rush us out of the place. We’ll most definitely come back to this particular establishment!

This place would easily get a 4 out of 5 if only they were consistent and honest. I’ve been here quite a few times since it’s convenient to where I live. The steak is usually good, but the service has always been pretty much garbage. Having to wave a server down and competing with others to wave a server down several times while eating is just an issue that management needs to fix. In addition, several times when I have been here and recieved a steak that is cooked nothing like what I ordered(usually medium), there is no apology, no real fix other than grossly overcooking the steak. The 1 time a manager did step in and do the right thing(Gave me a gift card), that card expired in 3 days. What the hell? 3 days? This place needs a «redo» from the top down.

What can you say about a delicious steak? The steak(filet) was pretty good. However, for a medium rare could have been softer and slight more rare. Part of the flavor comes from the butter. Though, if the meat is good, salt and pepper is enough. The service was pretty decent — a bit overtop and interrupted a few times as our table was engaged in conversation. All in all, food pretty good and would definitely come back to give it another shot.

I’m just surprised that I’ve given this place another chance… Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me — so this is all on me at this point :/I should have known to not take my mom and brother here for their birthday dinners. So first and foremost, I really liked our waiter. He was very friendly, but it was also just his third day and that was painfully obvious as many aspects of the dinner were not as they should be. We had to keep reminding wait staff to bring out things, including olives for a dirty martini, which was just super distracting and I felt like I was trying to manage a meal rather than able to sit back and enjoy it! I mean, come on! For this type of restaurant that is completely unacceptable. This is not the first time either [see past review]. I am not going to go into further detail about the mistakes made during dinner because I would be writing paragraphs and paragraphs more, but I will say that the hosts were also incredibly unprofessional and clumsy — they did not have any idea what they were doing when we arrived and took five minutes to seat us. Not only that, but they did not greet us properly and were *I kid you not* doubled over in laughter, hiding behind the host stand, while people were exiting the restaurant. I have no idea how or why this place is still in business. I suggest that Ruth’s Chris take a look at this location and conduct some serious change management. I do not know what kind of place Ruth’s Chris is that they feel they can hold a reputation of high quality yet constantly drop the ball. The cherry on top of this horrendous experience is that the food I took home with me was not boxed up correctly and splattered all over the cheap bag it came in… A symbol of the whole evening… Messy and uncoordinated. Suffice it to say, I’ve had enough with this place.

I ordered an 8 oz petite filet at medium rare and it came well done… fully. When I pointed it out to the waiter he said«I’m sorry about that» and did nothing. I was really looking forward to a nice steak so that sucked.

This is, by far, my favorite restaurant for special occasions. I had the petit filet, hubby had a cowboy ribeye, and we shared Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes. All of it was amazing! The only bad part about the experience was the fact that the chocolate sin cake is no longer on the menu… oh, and the butter hangover we all had after dinner. Definitely save up your day’s calories for this splurge!

I don’t hate it but I also don’t care for Ruth. Food overall is ok but the ambience and service do not feel upscale. The interior reminds me of a typical diner but with high end furniture. The steak is typically soak in butter. In fact when you leave your clothe is wreak of butter smell. It’s fine if you have a sudden craving for steak and butter but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here for special occasion.

First time at this location. April and David took good care of my wife and I at the bar. Service was prompt and polite. One of the things I love about Texas Roadhouse is that they address you by your name; it really makes you feel welcome. The ribeye was on point, full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. My wife had the chicken which was also really good. We will be back for sure!

My BF always takes me to this place for any celebratory dinner(Anniversary, Valentine’s, Christmas, random date night etc) simply because Ruth’s Chris(specifically the Fairfax location) is classy and always provides great food and service. We have been coming here for the past five years and we have NEVER had a bad experience or service. They have the best filet mignon and crème brûlée. Highly recommend dining here, they will take care of you and will leave your tummies happy hehe

Great happy hour specials. Spicy Lobster is 5 stars all day & only $ 8 vs $ 20 after 7. Prime burger is incredible $ 8(4:30 — 7). Great happy hour.

Amazing food! It is a very fancy place. My husband and I are in love with everything about Ruth’s Chris! The wait staff is great. They are very attentive and fast with moving the plates when everyone is finished. It is a little pricey, but they deliver on experience, service, and great quality food. We had the mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, corn, rib eye 16oz, scallops. Everything was amazing!

We love happy hour at Ruth Chris! We had the ahi appetizer to start! Yummy and fresh. My girlfriend had the tenderloin skewer salad and I had the prime burger with fries. All of these dishes were $ 8.00; a perfect price and so were the glasses of wine!

Outstanding service, outstanding food, and just all around outstanding experiences? What more could you ask for! I’m a big-time Ruth’s Chris fan, having dug into everything from their classic cocktails(the Ruby Red Greyhound is my favorite!) to their, of course, ridonkulously delicious steaks. Their classic filet mignon is probably my favorite, with its melt-in-your-melt tenderness, but their ribeye is also a flavor-explosion, so it’s a tough call. The lobster mac and cheese is definitely worth the splurge, but you can’t go wrong with classic mashed potatoes as your side either. I also recently got to try the sweet potato casserole and it is absolutely drool-worthy. RC does get pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for. And I’m a big fan of the Ruth’s Classics menu, which offers an app, entrée WITH side, and dessert for a set price. They offer a lot of options and the pricing is very fair. If you do ever manage to save room for dessert(I never do!), definitely go for the white chocolate bread pudding. It rocked my world.

Premier location in Fairfax Corner. My girlfriend took me here for my birthday which was a pleasant surprise. I love eating steak and she thought my birthday would go great with a fancy dinner. I’d say the experience is a little too fancy for my taste but that’s what I get for making steaks at home and not eating them at a restaurant. The service was really good and they even put little birthday decorations around the table for my surprise. I ended up getting the Surf and Turf which was a nice size Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail. If you’re a HUGE fan of butter, this is the place to go to. As for me, not really… I really wanted to enjoy it since everyone raves about Ruth’s Chris but as a guy who enjoys flavorful food, I found the steak and lobster to taste buttery bland. I’d say it’s worth checking out but if you’re a steak guy like myself, try somewhere else.

Everyone thinks I’m crazy for NOT getting steak at a steak house, but their chicken is the best thing to ever happen to my mouth. Seriously, try it and I promise you won’t be disappointed unless you’re like the pickiest person on the face of the earth, then nobody can help you. Appetizers: Lobster bisque= excellent Iceberg lettuce wedge = good but the blue cheese is a little much Crab stuffed mushrooms = excellent Dessert: Whiskey bread pudding = very good, but nothing can top The Canyon’s white chocolate bread pudding Thanks for another fabulous birthday meal!

See my review for the Ruth’s Chris Tyson’s Corner, as it’s basically the same: the only time I go to Ruth’s Chris is for the happy hour. Seriously, it’s Ruth’s Chris high-quality, great-tasting food and drinks at reasonable prices — enough said. GREAT happy hour selections — personal favorites include the burger, ahi tuna, and the steak sandwich. I love their pomegranate martini, and they offer a good selection of wines by the glass. Personally, though, comparing the bar areas in the Fairfax & Tysons Ruth’s Chris locations — I prefer Tysons. It’s a little larger and spread out, whereas the Fairfax location is in a smaller, window-less room and everything just feels a bit more crammed in comparison.

I won the amazing 5-course dinner for 2 that including pairings of hand crafted cocktails. I think tickets were $ 90 each. It was so great– who knew a steak place could crank out great food in every other category? I highly recommend any theme dinners put on Ruth’s Chris in Fairfax. In addition to great food, the had a beverage company making specialty cocktails and explaining every drink and ingredient along the way. It took place in a side room so we felt even more special! Below are the gory details. Don’t read when hungry… 1st Course: Maple-Bourbon-Glazed Jumbo Shrimp with warm 5-bean salad accompanied by Seelbach Sparkling Cocktail featuring Sparkling Wine, Bulleit Bourbon and Cointreau. The shrimp were large and succulents. I like any legume and this salad paired well with the shrimp. The cocktail would make a great addition to any brunch. –2nd Course: Seared Ahi Tuna Steak with slaw, crispy rice cake, and fresh cilantro oil accompanied by Moscow Mule featuring Ketel One Vodka, Domain de Canton Ginger Liqueur, Ginger Ale, fresh lime juice and candied ginger. The tuna was delicious. The mule was refreshing and went down easy. I missed its signature copper mug. –3rd Course: Slow-Roasted Pork, Arepa Corn Cake creole sauce, and fresh avocado accompanied by Agave Bee’s Knees featuring Don Julio Anejo Tequila, Smirnoff Wild Honey Vodka, fresh lemon juice, honey syrup and candied honey stick. Pork good but by this time I was pacing myself. Bee’s Knees was the most surprising drink. I liked it a lot. I was enamored with the crystallized honey stick garnish. I want to buy them in bulk. –4th Course: Sizzling Filet Mignon with crispy fried shallots and horseradish crème fraiche accompanied by New Fashioned featuring Bulleit Rye Whiskey, Cherry Heering, Candied Orange and Amarena Black Cherry Accompaniments include: Potato & Tomato Gratin and Ruth’s Creamed Spinach. This filet and the accompaniments are why they are famous. New Fashioned drink good but cherry stole the show. Anyone who didn’t eat the garnish missed out. –5th Course: Chocolate Dipped Cookie Trio with seasonal berries and crème anglaise accompanied by Chilled Vanilla Irish Coffee featuring Dark Roast coffee, Bushmills Irish Whiskey and Baileys Vanilla Cinnamon Irish. This course was the only disappointment. Too heavy after everything before it. I took them home though! Coffee drink outstanding and hot the spot.

Insanely good steaks, top notch service and a nice ambiance is the reason we come here. I absolutely love this place and I have yet to be disappointed. Our server was Cameron and he did a fabulous job of waiting on us. Our food was brought out promptly, it tasted great, and I can’t think of one thing that disappointed us. The steaks are served on 500 degree sizzling plates which keeps the meat nice and hot throughout the meal. The salads are plentiful and delicious too. Sides are served family style, which makes for the opportunity to samples multiple items in one sitting. The prices are high, so brace yourself, but I can’t say that it’s not worth every penny, because it is!!! I was very satisfied with our visit and my wife said it was probably one of the best dinners she has ever had. Obviously we will be back and hopefully soon. *This business is gun carry friendly.
