Clean place, fairly empty. We arrived around 3:30 it took 10 minutes to get our drinks, another 10 to take our order. Waited 40 minutes for our food, steak was over done and vegetables bland. Usually I can expect fast quality service from Logan’s but not on this one, the staff was holding some type meeting totally ignored the arriving customers. My children’s French fries were cold, hard and old. How do you ruin French fries.

Food was great. Service not so much. I ordered a drink and a water 7 minutes later still never received the water, as the drinks came out I had asked about the water and the waiter’s response was that he could not carry the water and the drink at the same time… I get that but what about the 7 minutes of waiting for the drink to come? Fast forward to dinner… I ordered a 6oz sirloin out came a 12 oz ribeye… His response was the kitchen messed up but when I got the receipt I could clearly see that he originally charged me for the ribeye and it was his fault. I used to be a server. I get it mistakes happen. I just would like for them to be owned up to. I have had several bad experiences here and do not plan to return.

We walked in yesterday around 3:00 pm. There was another couple in front us waiting to be seated. After standing there around 5 minutes, the couple in front of us got agitated and sat themselves down at the bar. We waited another 10 – 15 minutes and were never approached to be seated. Several waiters/waitresses passed by, but never acknowledged our presence. We could also see a couple people seated looking around for their waitress. Finally a man whom was wearing dress clothes, perhaps the manager, walked by and said he’d be right with us. He came back and asked how many people in our party and then said«I’ll be back». He disappeared and didn’t come back. A woman who was already seated walked up to him with her payment because her waitress never returned to collect her payment. We ended up leaving due to the fact that we already wasted 20 or so minutes just standing at the door. Can’t imagine what the service would have been like if we had stayed. We left and went to Texas Roadhouse and had a wonderful meal and service.

This place is horrible. The staff is rude and uneducated about the restaurant having a gluten free menu. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was undrinkable. We didn’t even order food we walked out. I doubt we will ever return.

I love this location! I’ve been coming for over a year now and I have always had a great experience! I’ve sat in the normal dining area, bar seating, and at the bar. The service has always been great. The food has always been exceptional. The drinks are always made well and taste great. The staff are always very pleasant and courteous.

First of all, great service. The waiter kept checking on us in a very non-intrusive way. Everything came out in good time. The food was great. The ribs, baked potato, filet, fried pickles, and potato skins were awesome.

When you first walk in it doesn’t give you that warm and inviting feeling. Not sure did organize the menu! To many questionable selections. We left very unhappy. The food has entirely too much salt.

My wife and I went to Logan’s for dinner last weekend. The service was absolutely terrible. It was just before dinner time and the place was nearly empty, so we figured we would get a quick meal. Alas, that was not the case. The drinks and appetizer came at a reasonable time, but then the main course too over 45 minutes. The waitress/bartender basically disappeared. When the food finally came after an inquiry, my burger was over cooked and her chicken was cold. I’m not really complaining about the food, as I know what I am getting with a chain, but the ambivalent service was really too much. Will never be going to a Logan again.

One of the worst experiences we’ve had, the only saving grace for this review is the manager. When we were sat down, it took 10 minutes to get our drink order, to which we were told our waitress was making black bean salsa and would be with us later. We had 3 different waitresses and really weren’t sure who was the salsa maker. Our drinks were brought with my fiances ranch dressing, which took 20 minutes to be accompanied by the rolls. We waited for another 20 minutes, to which we started to look for the manager. One of our waitresses came back to talk to us, and after our request to speak with the manager she disappeared so we had to look for him ourselves in the kitchen(literally). He was extremely kind and apologetic and immediately told us the meal was on him, to which we agreed to stay. Finally the food came, but unfortunately my fiances salad came with a bug instead of a croûton to which we had enough and just left. We appreciate the managers attention and really hope he finds a good team to work with.

I Will Say that this 2nd time I went to Logan’s Road House was So much better than the 1st time. This 2nd time was at Failakes location, 1st time was in Manassas. But Location Fairlakes is so much better. I ordered the Meat Loaf, fries and Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. Meat Loaf and Fries were good + the gravy as well, but really didn’t care for the mash potatoes. The time I went to Manassas Location, I order a meat Burger with Like cheese inside the meat, it was gross. But the 2nd time was great, loved that Meat loaf! Thank you Logan’s Road house. Also could have more selection on the menu, not a lot to choose from. But it was all good. :)

I went to Logan’s last night for dinner, arrived around 6pm, the restaurant was about ½ full. After being seated up around the bar we ordered out drinks and an appetizer, as well as let the server know we had a 25% coupon emailed to us. Drinks and apps came out with no problem. We then ordered our dinner, this is when problems started. From the time we ordered, until the time we got out food, it was around 40 minutes. Someone other than our server delivered our food, but didn’t bring all of it. They were missing one order. They were also missing gravy and butter for the baked potato. Not realizing this right away, we waited about 10 minutes for someone to come check on us before we could point out the missing meal as well as the missing condiments. The food runner that dropped our food off finally stopped to check on us and we let him know about he missing salad and sides. We then waited another 5 – 10 minutes. Then he arrived with the salad followed up by what we could only assume was the manager. The salad came out with the incorrect salad, we then asked for the salad to be taken off the bill and sent that back. I would only assume with the manager standing at our table when we said the that she would step in and ask if there was anything she could do, but no. She sat down the place with butter and gravy on it and walked away. I went ahead and asked the food runner for the bill, seeing that everything else had taken longer than it should have I thought getting the bill would take forever too. If this was the last of the problems, we would have gotten out ahead. When I finished eating, I looked at the bill, the discount wasn’t taken off, no biggie, we let the server know and he said it would be taken care of. He dropped the bill back off, we put the credit card in, he ran it and dropped it off again. When I went to sign the bill, he had given us a different bill back and dropped our credit card off at another table! I walked up to the server, who was then standing with the manager at the front podium and said he had given us the wrong bill and the credit card was missing. He ran to another table to retrieve our bill and credit card. Again, with the manager standing there when a problem was brought up I would only assume the manager would step in and talk to a visible upset customer. After going back to my table the server came and dropped off the correct bill and said«as if this table couldn’t have gotten and worst» and walked away. I am not sure if the server was training, or was just spread too thin with too many tables, but the lack of acceptability by the manager was utter revolting. The manager, in my opinion, needs some training on customer service.

This place is terrible! We got here at 6:15. I didn’t ever receive my salad which was my dinner. After multiple times asking for management, we didn’t get anything taken care of. Still no salad and the other order at my table was lacking all the sides. Complete waste of 2 hrs!!!

Food: They have a good selection of American fare. I had the steak and shrimp and it was cooked perfectly and really good. I also split the Mississippi brownie, which was to die for. Price: What you would expect $ 12−18/ person Service: nice and friendly, but forgot to check on us after we got dessert, but I appreciated that she asked us to check our steaks to make sure they were cooked correctly. Atmosphere: A relaxing, slightly country bar atmosphere. I liked the wood walls and warm lighting. Good for family or solo.

The steaks at Logan’s are good. I think they offer a good value for the price. This location has been around quite a long time and it used to be busier, but I guess there are more options in the Fair Lakes area now. I was at the bar recently and glad they did away with the cabinets hanging from the ceilings. The bar area is much more open and not stuffy. I was pleased with the service.

I believe that a good experience at a restaurant is 60% service, 35%food, and 5% scene. That said, let’s work backwards… 5% Scene: Rating — 0% I want to preface by saying Logan’s Roadhouse fails miserably in the 5% scene. Say what you will, but as a first-time goer to LR, I was not OK with walking on peanut shells… «Couldn’t someone clean up?» I’m also not a fan of the sticky dark-green tablecloth — seriously? 35% Food: Rating — 30% Okay, we were a party of 7(+ a baby) and we had a birthday and farewell party tonight. The food came out at the right time — you know, the usual ordeal of drinks, appetizers, starters(salads), entrée, dessert. You wouldn’t believe how many restaurants can’t even get that right. Food came out hot and at the same time for everyone. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and thought that I would be disappointed — but the chicken was crispy and the condiments tasted fresh. My husband ordered their 20oz steak in medium rare and they cooked it right and it was apparently delicious. Our cocktail drinks were a little weak — but I will let that one slide as I did not have any tonight. Our least favorite sides was the mashed potato and gravy — it just wasn’t «right». Take it for what it’s worth, I guess it’s a personal opinion. 60% Service: Rating — 50% When we first walked in, there were 4 – 5 people just standing at the door. Only one person smiled and greeted us, the other ones were like the cast of a dead-alive movie. Nonetheless, once you engage them, they were more lively and entertained(once again, like zombies). I guess we walked in on the staff that was getting training. Not too much of a problem, but a smile wouldn’t hurt nobody! Our waiter was pretty awesome. It took him a little bit of time to get in the groove of things and get used to our humor… My parents have pretty raw foreign humor. However, we liked him because he tried. There was a language barrier but he did what he could and he did so respectfully. It does the restaurant REALGOOD to find someone who is respectful and diligent. Another plus, is that, since this was my first time at LR, I was NOT ok with the nutshells on the floor, so I asked him to sweep the area and he did. And he didn’t do it begrudgingly, nor did he have an attitude. So BIG plus for the restaurant. Overall: 80% — That’s really good for a chain restaurant! Verdict: While we were less than impressed with the cleanliness, décor and first impression of the restaurant, we had a great experience and would definitely come back and recommend. :-)

Not impressed. Service was slow and it wasn’t busy on a Saturday around 2/3pm. I was with a large party(approximately 20 people), but it was precoordinated so I feel they could’ve been more accommodating. They had one server for our party and he wasn’t very attentive. No refills for water cups, no clearing of dirty plates, and broken promises(«I’ll bring you this…» And never brought them — this happened for multiple things, multiple times). The food. The yeast rolls were nice and hot, but on the dry side… Not the soft and squishy rolls that other reviewers have raved about. The Caesar salad that I got was overdressed. This experience has taught me to order dressing on the side from now on. I got the popcorn shrimp with French fries. The waiter said he would bring me cocktail sauce, but it never came. The fries were the best part of the meal, as they’re basically McDonalds fries. They have free and all you can eat peanuts sitting on the table in these silver buckets, and you can discard the shells as you wish(on the table, on the floor, etc.) To be honest, I think this takes away from the experience because seeing peanut shells on the floor makes the place seem dirty to me. I also got to try the steak and a handful of sides. Everything is barely average. The steak needed more seasoning. The mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, rice pilaf — your standard American fare — were nothing special. I’ve had better tasting sides from Chinese buffets. One good thing is they are flexible with swapping sides. The food here isn’t terrible, but there are better steakhouses without question.

Great food, not as typical as a chain steakhouse, even though it does fall into the chain category. Good variety, typically get a combination of steak and some type of seafood. Their rolls are delicious. Could eat a couple baskets, easy! Meals can get pricey there depending on what is ordered and how many in your group. Its best to have a reservation. Never have had to wait more than 15 minutes, but never have gone at an hour that was in the middle of a meal time — always later. Great servers, well trained and accommodating. Logan’s has some good eating and I will continue going back time and time again.

My second time dining at Logan’s and it was not as enjoyable as the first. Perhaps that new car smell has worn off already and I need to move along. We arrived early on a Saturday evening before 6pm and had no trouble being seated. I guess my biggest complaint was the spotty service. I thought it took way too long to get our initial beers after placing our order, frequently my water glass was empty, we had long waits on more of those yummy yeast rolls and our peanut bucket was empty and never filled. All this and the place was not that busy yet. Things improved though once my KC strip steak arrived. It was well prepared and very tasty. I had no trouble finishing it off. The grilled vegetable skewer was great and I felt good about skipping the fries.

Do people actually eat this stuff on a regular basis? Yikes. Granted I’m not one for chain steakhouses to begin with, but I wasn’t making the decisions for dinner recently and was taken to Logans for a meal. From the moment we walked in the entire restaurant was in confusion and was not prepared for our 2 person party. That’s right. There were two of us. Seriously? You’d think a busload of sumo wreslters were dropped at their doorstep on a Friday night after a local highschool football game. It’s me and my father-in-law on a Wednesday at 6. You can do this. Anyway, yeah, once they finally figured out how to sit us at a table, the food was just depressing and bad. So much of the menu is deep fried this, bacon blasted that, and a number of other examples of what are bad punchlines to American food stereotypes. I tried to go the quasi-healthy route and get a steak sandwich with sweet potato fries, but of course the sweet potato fries are just doused in brown sugar, to completely defeat the purpose. Oh, and my sandwich felt like a rubber dog chew toy. I almost expected it to squeek when I pressed down on it. I literally had to bite down on it and pull on it with both hands to get a piece into my oh so regretful mouth. Yum! Really, really bad stuff. But hey, you can throw peanuts on the ground like a wild animal if you want! Neat! I really don’t want to be a snobby a-hole with chain restaurants like this, but in this case they just give me no other choice. This was the worst food I’ve had in a while, and I’ve been traveling a lot and eating in a lot of airports recently.
