I’m in town on work. I decided I wanted to order a pizza and stay in for the night. This place had decent reviews so I figured why not. I called up and everything went fine, they took my order and let me know they would be out in 45 minutes or so. That was at 9:15, it is now 11:00 and they closed at 10. No food, No phone call and here i sit still waiting(even though its evident its not coming).

Picked up a carry-out order from King’s last Friday night. We got an XL pizza and Caesar salad. Both were great! The crust was good and not too thick. The cheese and topping were tasty. The salad was pretty standard and the Caesar dressing was really good! I will definitely be going back to this place. Also they have pizza by the slice($ 4 – 5 I think) which is nice.

I’m glad I got to try this place out. It appears to be a family run operation that serves very good pizza and fantastic buffalo chicken wings. Everything comes out piping hot. I have to admit I will give Pomodoro in Fairfax a slight edge in the overall pizza experience, but King’s pizza is good with a nice crust and real mozzarella that’s got the right texture and chewiness of a NY pizza. When it comes to pizza, it’s always good to have choices, and King’s is a solid destination for that. Don’t forget to try the wings.

Love this place. Great NY style pizza. Delivery usually between 30 and 40 minutes, but well worth it. We order it at least 2 to 3 a month.

The smell across the parking lot is what drew me in. The amazing food and service is what kept me. Being from New York it is difficult to find true New York store opens up at this place had at all. I highly recommend it

The pizza was okay. The crust was a bit tough and burnt on the edges. Not the worst I’ve had, but also not the best. The customer service was good, though. The woman who took my order and the delivery driver were both very friendly and polite.

Went back and gave this place another shot, this time service was on point and pizza not so much. I just don’t know about this place so I am giving three stars, go there or don’t, who cares anymore…

This review is only on their pizza. I ordered a large Supreme Pizza, which comes with pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, mozzarella cheese & sauce. I placed my order and they arrived within 35 minutes. They are a little on the pricey side but I guess you can get away with that in Fairfax. The pizza itself was good but I do have a few suggestions. The crust is the most crucial part of the pizza. Start off with a great dough and knead it properly and it will yield a superior crust. The crust was ok… I thought it was a little chewy. Also, I do wish they would use a better ham for their pizza, it looks like they use domestic ham. I would suggest Canadian bacon or Coppa maybe. I am not sure what kind of sausage they use, but the best would be hand pulled sweet Italian sausage. I think with these additions it would really change their pizza for the better and bump it up to 4 stars. I am originally from Jersey and you would never find little sausage balls on a pie in my hometown unless it was a Dominoes or Pizza Hut. Overall, I would definitely eat here again, but I really do hope they read these reviews and consider their customers feedback.

We ordered a pizza for delivery and the delivery driver was completely rude asking for a tip and the pizza wasnt even what i ordered! In addition the pizza was hardly cooked and all the cheese fell off pizza and was so greasy and messy it was almost impossible to put back on. Waste of time and money, I would not recommend this place.

Still good. 2 slices of pepperoni and 1 slice of supreme for about $ 11.50. These slices are probably XL size, and 2 would stuff your average person. I’m about ready to pass out after 3. Pepperoni pizza is hard to mess up. Each bite was made up of ¾ cheese and pepperoni, with the rest being crust and sauce. It was cheesy, fatty, salty goodness. The grease dripped down properly, because it’s pepperoni. Don’t let it sit though. The crust will sog up with that all that grease. The supreme on the hand was not as great. All the veggies didnt allow the cheese to brown like it did on the pepperoni. It could have been left in the oven a bit longer, but its tricky because some areas might burn. The good news is that the crust wasn’t soggy from the veggies. It was just like on the pepperoni. I will definitely go again for pizza.

I happened to be in the plaza to try out another dessert place and saw this pizza shop glowing out of the misty fog. It felt like the scene of a movie. I had to go in. Once inside, it truly felt like being in NY on one of those damp fall nights. Cozy. Romantic! I loved the ambiance of the New Yorkie small tight pizza shop feel. The only difference was that you could find and seat and watch TV while eating a great meal. What earned the 5 stars was the IMMEDIATE customer service that I received from the young men scattered in the dining area and the kitchen. They just emerged from everywhere ready to show me any pizza in the house that I could choose from. The owner assured me of this as well. I think that I counted 5 people making their BEST effort to help me in deciding, getting the pizza prepped and heated for ready to eat on the spot. I selected 2 pizza by the slice and loved the just-enough cheese on the crispy crust. Not too much dough on the«bone.» Made it nice to eat, not too greasy, smelled great. I can’t wait to test out the other dishes as well. The sauce was good. I really liked this place. I can see myself bringing a friend or two and hanging out to chat, act stupid, and watch TV. If I lived closer, I would definitely call for delivery, but a night out is good for the pizza soul, and giving a little tip to working young folks is a MUST in my book. Treat them well for hard work and you’ll nurture a great worker for years to come.

Great for delivery, 30 mins on a Saturday night very nice! Ordered at a hotel and they delivered to the pool very cool and hot and tasty. The garlic knots are great I would recommend these guys for a good pie delivered anytime! Solid 4 stars!

Unfortunately the quality of their pizza has suffered some lately, but a bigger problem, and the main reason I knocked two stars off wad because of a recent delivery problem. Apparently, their website does not verify the credit card when you submit your order. Instead, the store manually enterd the information. Apparently, I misentered my credit card information when ordering. King’s tried to call me but my phone’s ringer was turned off, I usually keep it off at work and never remember to turn it on again. When the delivery guy shows up and tells me there was a problem and asks if I want to pay cash or call the store, I decided to pay cash. Amazingly, he could not break a $ 20. This is my problem, how do you send a delivery person out without change to break a $ 20?

We ordered a large half cheese half pepperoni, side of garlic knots, and got the free cannoli. Pizza: tasted really good but it was really greasy, and it left us in and out of the loo the next day for a few hours Garlic knots: tasted really good, but had a lot of parmesan and not a lot of garlic Cannoli: really really good Decent food for the price!

On the advice of a complete stranger from New Jersey who claimed to know his pizza, I decided to give it a try. The pizza is good, but not Jersey good, and definitely not NYC or New Haven good. People: you just haven’t lived yet. Sadness. The pizza rates in the realm of Sbarro or Costco, which is good enough for bourgeois suburbanite crackers whose only concept of driving inside the beltway involves commuting to work. But then again the exurbs were brilliantly(if unintentionally) designed to keep boring people away from higher cultural achievement. Except on weekends of course, or if The Wizards or Capitals make the playoffs. Anyhow, the crust is not thin or crisp enough to be NY style, and the cheese is a little bit much. I would definitely recommend this stuff over the usual chain delivery franchises though, and when its beer-thirty it’s even better. I also had a meat lover’s stromboli which I thought was great. I loved it. Service was friendly and competent as well. The place was a lot smaller than I expected too. I had this impression of a larger place with a big glass case full of slices and other food like at busy NY joints that serve a lot of people, but it was a smaller table service restaurant type place.

These guys have a amazing meat sauce… So willing to travel so hubby can get spaghetti. I have been trying various things… I like their Stromboli and pizzas. They do have slices but so far have only done a whole custom. Like their bead so thumbs up Negative so far was the eggplant sub. This is a do not order… While it looked tasty it was mainly breaking and bread and hardly any eggplant. Plus their fries are the kind that have a coating on them… I don’t understand why anyone needs to add a coating to fries… Now I figured these items are brought in frozen., and I don’t mind that but in this case it’s a no no no… In fact if this was all we had the rating would have been a 1… But we come here for their meat sauce! At least for us it’s a winner! A side plus is they are a couple doors from Sugar Momma’s which is a great place for a soup of ice cream afterwards… A great double header!

Small Treasure. Not a bad pizza place. The Service was decent. Although it’s a small place that seats about 20 – 30 people, it was only one waitress. It does have a lot of traffic in and out with people ordering togo. The pizza took probably 20 minutes if you plan on eating there. It’s s definitely not«New York» style, I don’t think. The crust was firm and had a snap to it, and the pizza was moist with tons of flavor. The cheese definitely strings off! Plus side, if you want pizza by the slice… come here! Overall, not bad.

It was a Saturday night and I was craving pizza as usual but I wanted something that offered slices so I wouldn’t have to purchase a whole pie. I saw this place out of he corner of my eye as I drove by, called them up to ask about slices. They did offer them so I stopped by to get my grub on. I had a slice of meat lovers and a slice of supreme. Both were large with a good amount of toppings and tasted great. Had a good crust as well. My only knock is there should be more cheese but the toppings made up for it. Washed it down with a nice cold fat tire beer, a very satisfying and quick meal. This is a nice spot if you’re looking for a quick bite or want to have a quiet family night out. There’s a few tables and some high tops but the dining room is small so plan accordingly. Overall a solid pizza place. Passes my pizza test!
