I’ve been coming here for a while and I love their bone-in chicken, bread, and the green sauce. However, these guys are becoming cheap and cheaper by the day! I mean who or what Kabob restaurant charges you for a tiny container of green sauce??? None that know of… but you must pay .50 cents, which is not a huge deal but as a matter of principle and to prove my point. One evening, I also attempted to call like 4 – 5 times to place an order so that I may pick it up. Yes, I was calling 20 – 25 minutes before closing but my goodness… no one would pick up the phone. I’m assuming they probably didn’t want to take a last order and go home! Not good for business and regulars such as myself. I’m going to continue to eat my favorite bone-in here… The staff is very snobby and rude… not sure why though? I mean it’s a Kabob joint not some high-end steakhouse. And, there’s nothing Afghan about the menu other than rice and bread. This is really an Indian-Pakistani type food with a tiny blend of Afghanistan. I know authentic Afghan food but hey, most cannot understand this which is why I’m throwing it out there. Lots of folks are now realizing this… I mean just look at the side dishes, it looks nasty! I never take the side-dish that they usually dump in a cup or on top of rice… stay away from it is my advice.

This has always been our favorite kabob place. Chicken is fantastic. Unfortunately their sides could be better and my son prefers extra rice. No problem until yesterday when I was told that extra rice cannot replace a side any more due to a management decision. Seems silly since rice is less expensive to them than a vegetable but they held firm. Luckily there are other kabob options. I’ll miss the chicken but other restaurants are good enough and actually listen to customers.

One of the worst afghani restaurant I have ever been to. One top of that the staff is not very good. It’s hard for them to understand a simple order. The white sauce was really gross. The green sauce was good. Will never go there again

The original owner does not seem to work here… Service is terrible, the cashier is rude and played dumb to customer Meat is so salty, unstable food quality. So sad, used to be my number one choice in kabob for 10 years. Really hope the original owner sisters are still in charge. The people they hired does not care about the business. My visit tonight will be my last(October-4−2015), watch the young indian lady, she is super rude!

My coworkers and I ordered food out last week and I called and placed everyone’s order. I ordered the chicken and beef combo and I must say that my meal was absolutely amazing. The chicken and beef were very well seasoned. I also loved the chick peas and the way that it was prepared. I am a rice lover so the rice with the chick peas were a great pairing. And they give you huge pieces of flatbread. Although they missed one of our orders my food was great and I would definitely return. I wish that they delivered because I could go for some right now.

I LOVETHISPLACE!!! Best Kabob place around. I’ve tried others around the area and none comes even close. I always get the chicken kabob with the chick peas. I can’t praise it enough. My kids love the white sauce with the naan. If they could that’s all they would eat.

My boyfriend and I love this place! We treat ourselves to kabob every now and then from here and it’s always a pleasure. Service is always good and very sweet. The consistency is great because we are happy every time. The food comes in awesome portions and we always super full after we eat here. Both of our meals are usually priced around $ 10 – 12 which is totally worth it for me. The platters come with rice, bread, and salad and we always pick a side order of chick peas. The sauces are also yummy.

To start off the customer service was amazing! The two ladies we encountered were absolutely delightful and patient with us as we decided what we wanted. We had the veggie platter with chick peas and spinach and the boneless chicken kabob. Both veggies and the brown basmati rice were delicious. The kabob was tender and very flavorful. The green sauce was a great addition. The portions were so generous we could’ve shared one plate. Like other kabob places the only down side is the amount of styrofoam used. It was quite a lot of waste and not so great for the environment.

Great food, friendly staff as well. I’m a huge fan of their lamb and chicken kabob combo(not sure what number that is). I got the chickpea side and it was good, I don’t normally like chickpeas but I figured what the hey. A rather large platter for only 12 bucks out the door. Definitely going back.

Simple review here, I ordered to go and got the k14 it was the kubideh and chicken combo. They barely give you any rice kubideh was burnt and so dry almost felt like eating wood, the chicken was good and juicy but lacked flavor. The side salad was the best thing I had here, it’s included with the order but sad I only enjoyed the salad and not my main meal.

Food was pretty good. Décor was ok. No «atmosphere» here. Had boneless chicken kabob which comes with rice, salad, bread and side. We got the spinach but I didn’t care for it. Everything else was good. We also had hummus which was good but didn’t seem homemade. I split all this with a friend and we had more than enough. They offer free hot tea which I loved. Prices were good and the specials were priced very well. I’d return but I’d check out other similar places first.

A friend from the office recommended this place and I took her up on her offer to pick something up for me. I ordered online, which was super easy, but didn’t give me an option to select my side and that resulted in a guessing game for the people picking up the food. I ordered the beef kubideh wrap and it was pretty lame. The kubideh itself was a little dry and the veggies weren’t condusive to the wrap environment. i.e. they were enormous chunks more suitable for a salad as opposed to thinly sliced for a wrap. All in all, it was a very awkward wrap. The accompanying french fries were straight from ore ida, so okay but not great there. Yeah, meh works. I probably won’t be back just because there are many other wonderful places for kabob.

Some of the best Afghan food in Northern Va! I’m Afghan and travel often, so this review should mean a lot. Service is excellent! Their staff is extremely nice and genuine, reflecting true Afghan hospitality. Food is great, ordered the bolani as an appetizer and then got the chicken kabob for my main course, which comes with seasoned rice, salad, and tandoori naan. Everything was wonderful and tastes great, very fresh and flavorful. So if you want delicious food, that’s similar to a Afghan home cooked meal, do try this place. You could point blindly at their menu and I’m sure you will be happy with whatever you end up ordering!
