Jack In the Box

This place is one of my favorite late late night stops for a little bit of Robin. The staff is extremely nice. The food is always wonderful although not so great for you nice to splurge on myself once in awhile. The only gripe I have is that it’s a little dirty in the parking lot area and drive through area but that’s not a huge deal. Getting two tacos for a dollar is about the best value for fast food you can get anywhere and they are fantastic although not so healthy. I’m quite sure I don’t want to know whats in their tacos… but boy they sure are good! !!

I come here when I get a late night craving for a sourdough Jack! The staff is not always too excited to be there but hey they make a great burger and they are very friendly and nice just get them on a good day if you want a good time at Jack-​in-​the-​Box. I wish they would stay open later so in case I get hungry at a later time I can always come then rather than before 10 o’clock but it’s all good!

I ordered a Deli Trio it was the bomb. I went back and ordered another Deli Trio the next day, and guess what? Still the bomb. The people that work at this location are pretty rad too. They are the kind of people that you could totally chill with at a pool or something. The always offer to give me and ice cream cone if I bring the cone instead of being rude and saying they don’t do ice cream cones here like the other places.

I just ordered 2 tacos and decided to give the Teriyaki Chicken bowl with Egg Roll a try after not trying it for some 22 years? This place reminded me why I never ordered it after the first time over 2 decades ago but this time was even worse, rice was dry and hard! You couldn’t even make fried rice with it, spit it it all out back into the bowl. Ok, so onto the breakfast sausage muffin, hash browns and coffee. Everything was nasty, I have eaten at Jack’s in the Bay Area often but is it just this location? Everything is under cooked, hash brown soggy, the muffin was covered in burnt particles and grease. The hashbrown was so greasy and coffee luke warm. (I live 2 minutes away) Coffee was cold by the time I sipped it which was within 5 minutes. I did not finish anything, just took bites of everything and spit it all out then threw it into the trash! I didn’t even want to try the tacos. I was so disgusted I told myself not to ever eat Jack AGAIN! I think this place sealed the deal, I QUIT JACK IN THE BOX!

BEWARE of this Jack n’ the Box location (8100 Greenback Lane) — I ate here 2 days ago (I ate 3 mozzarella sticks & a half of an Oreo Shake) and I got violently ill with food poisoning. I was throwing up for 45 minutes with the most intense stomach aches and cramping, sweating like crazy, trembling, felt so dizzy, and nauseous within 35 minutes of eating the food — I thought I was going to die.
I called the restaurant the next morning to let them know something was wrong with their food and the man who answered (I’m pretty sure he was a manager but he told me he wasn’t) shifted the blame onto myself and told me it must have been something I had eaten earlier in the day and that food poisoning symptoms don’t normally start occurring until hours and hours after consumption. I am 100% certain that this restaurant served me bad, spoiled food — I felt perfectly fine the whole entire day until I ate their food. I’ve never even had food poisoning before — and I know my body well. This food definitely made me sick.
Because of the store employee’s complete disregard for my concerns and ridiculous counter argument, I called the health department and they told me they’re going to be going out to the restaurant to examine. I’ll never eat at Jack n’ the Box again after this experience — their food is just plain dirty and not good for your body at all. Lesson learned (the hard way)…hopefully nobody else gets sick the way I did. Wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.

This place deserves 6 stars. Their employees are the nicest and speed of service is alot better

I like Jack in the Box food, even though I’m not a big fan of junk food. Whenever I go here, the people are always really sweet and helpful. They’re not snarky, and AJ is a great employee, he’s really patient and very efficient.
The munchie box, the curly fries and desserts are super tasty! They keep this place clean, amazing employees and pretty good food! Good job Jack in the Box!

I love this place! The 99 cent tacos are my favorite! My kids love the breakfast foods here! They have changed their hash browns, my kids did complain… lol The staff is always friendly, and the inside is clean.
As far as fast food goes, this place is my favorite.

Very VERY greasy. Place has gone downhill.
It took a whole handful of napkins to get the grease off the sandwiches that my wife and I ordered. The hash brown sticks have been changed to those hash brown patties available at any grocery store. I’m not able to attach the picture that I took of the grease on the napkins, though.
Please change back to the hash brown sticks, and change the oil MUCH more often.
