Nova Trattoria

We had take out. First time ordering. All food was fresh and delicious! Even the rolls were yummy. We have to try the pizza next.

This is my preferred Pizza restaurant. I love their personal pizza. The crust is thin and it’s quite big compared to other personal pizzas. I’ve also had their Chicken Alfredo, it’s a bit pricey ($ 17+), but it’s worth it. It comes with two roles and a soup or salad. It has just enough Alfredo sauce with 3 whole, thinly sliced chicken breast (not strips like most places).
The gentleman (possibly the owner) is friendly and welcoming.

The Chicken Francaise here is excellent, the portion is large and thin sliced pieces of chicken make this dish. The wraps here are also very good, the french fries are cooked perfectly. The chicken noodle soup is lacking, not much chicken and not good quality chicken in the soup. The side bread is a hit or miss but usually a miss unfortunately.

This place is a joke.
I ordered a pork roll sandwich served with an order of fries on Grubhub. I was just returning from a long flight and I wanted something quick and didn’t want any fast food. So I made my order on my phone when I was 20 minutes out. I get there, tired, and the total for my order is $ 7.49. I give the young woman working at the counter what I thought was $ 10.50. I guess I gave her a nickel instead of an extra quarter. She knew exactly what I was trying to do. So instead of correcting me she gives me back 2 dollars, 8 dimes, and a penny. I didn’t even feel like arguing. I just let it go. So then I asked her about my fries and she told me I didn’t get fries with my sandwich. I then told her on grubhub it says served with fries. She didn’t answer me she just walked to the back and some guy came and told me it doesn’t come with fries. I told him it does on grubhub. The guy says «Show Me». Now I’m tired and upset. So I showed him my order where it says it comes with fries. He looks at it and says I have to wait. So while I waiting for the fries that I shouldn’t have to wait for, I noticed the woman who was behind me they messed up her order and she demanded a refund. Minutes later the young woman comes from the back and says to me «here are your fries» and then turned her back to me. no thank yous, apologies, nothing.
Now heres the best part: I get home and before I unpacked I wanted to eat my sandwich. I took the first bite and all I taste is broccoli, I take the second bite; nothing but broccoli. so I opened the sandwich and all I see is 95% broccoli 5% roast pork. I’m not exaggerating. I wish I had taken a picture.
Never again.

This was to be our first order from Nova, since our go-​to pizza restaurant is no more. Arlene called for a large pizza with sausage and mushrooms at about 5:30 PM. She was told that we would receive delivery in about 40 minutes. When the pizza didn’t arrive by 6:30, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I called and was told that it was on the way and that it should arrive in the next few minutes. I called again at 7 pm and they said it will be here any minute. I cancelled the pizza.
This is not customer service, no matter how highly-​rated the pizza is. I have frozen pizza in the convection oven as I finish this review, one hour and forty-​five minutes after we called Nova.

Neighborhood Gem! Good solid Italian food reasonably priced. Great Meatballs! Excellent Bolognese! Nice people. Forget Olive Garden and go here for real food. Mangia! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Plain and simple: This is an overpriced Domino’s. Pizza has cheese that is barely melted with cheap, bitter sauce. Even the garlic bread here tastes like fast food. No idea how this place has this many stars, but it’s not for their pizza!

Trying to figure out why you would chop up the meat and cheese in the antipasto salad. Def not with getting it. And now my stomach hurts.

Great pizza, even some of their unique offerings (lobster for instance) is delicious. Delivery typically takes 40 minutes, which is a little long, but the food is fresh and hot when it arrives.

It was finely chopped so that I put the oil and vinegar in the container, shook it and every bite was flavorful and delicious. Wasn’t expecting it to be so good as a former Ewingite, living in Md. Thanks for a wonderful surprise from a local business.

Just had the most amazing meal at a strip mall restaurant! The pork and figs appetizer is so delicious! The chicken Portobello entrée tasted like it was prepared just for me. Seriously, this was tender chicken in a lovely mushroom sauce. Even the sides were perfect… roasted potatoes and veggies done to perfection. Soft lighting, music, BYOB… you have to try this place!

Ordered pizza for the first time for a small Bd party. Tasted really good, crispy and for a great price. They were very accommodating cutting the pie into smaller pieces. Will try rest again for other items on menu.

Food was pretty good, and staff is very friendly, but there are couple things wrong:
1. If you are gonna charge an extra $ 7 on top of the $ 7 base price Caesar salad, you would expect more than 3 shrimp.
2. Calamari could have used a little more spice
3. Although it was a large delivery, it was a little botched.

I had great customer service with Nova for my delivery this weekend. Sadly, it took a little longer than I expected, 40 mins for a pizzeria that is around the corner was a bit much. Prices are pretty comparable to other pizzas in the place.
They have these great fried raviolis as an appetizer, (about 8 to an order) with the most amazing marinara sauce. The pizza was good, not mind blowing, but I would definitely have it again.
They have some pretty interesting things on their menu that make them stand out from your regular pizza joint… like Lobster in cognac cream sauce or pork tenderloins and figs… yea, you fancy Nova. I am pretty excited about trying these and maybe some of their BBQ items (although I don’t know if I trust Italians with BBQ yet).

The food is very good. I always order the same thing… chicken Marsala w/​potatoes and pork and figs.
The chicken is so juicy and tender and the sauce with the mushrooms is the best I’ve had in the area. The pork and figs appetizer is tasty. I was skeptical at first and when I tried it, I was hooked. The salmon appetizer, lobster in cognac sauce over mashed potatoes appetizer… tasty.
Delivery has always been fast, food delivered nice and hot.
The ONLY reason why I don’t give this place 5 stars is simple… inconsistency in flavor. There were times that I’ve ordered where the food was bland and not enough sauce and Marsala flavor which irks me because there were many times I’ve had it and it was so damn good.

had our 2^nd delivery last night. we’re from south philly. i work in ny. and i will tell you the pizza is flat out excellent. try the brooklyn pie. try the meatballs.

We just had our 2^nd delivery from here and both times we couldn’t stop raving about the food — the sauces were excellent and the veal was so tender. We are looking forward to dining in on this outstanding food.
