I was a bit disappointed by the patties on this visit. It was very dry. I think the the kitchen was thrown off by the huge party right before us(about 10 person).

I’m not a fan of strip mall burger joints. Not even a fan of strip malls, but we were hungry and my friend twisted my arm. I was surprised to find my bacon cheeseburger was good. The bun was slightly toasted and there was 1⁄3 pound of meat. The décor didn’t feel too homogenized either — which is nice. If you’re in a rush and want better than McDonalds this seems to be a good place.

I was a little early going to pick up my boyfriend from work yesterday, and i was seriously craving a malt. I knew there was a shake-n-go close by, next to the Pickle Time Deli, so i thought that I would go in and check them out. It is a nice, clean, albeit small shop. They don’t offer malts, so I ordered the strawberry shake, and while I waited, i browsed their menu. Looks like they make at least 20 variations of burgers, and several fried seafood items. I wasn’t too impressed with the shake– a vanilla ice cream shake with strawberry syrup. I was envisioning delicious seedy chunks of strawberry, and i was disappointed. The viscosity of the shake was somewhat thinner than i prefer. Not only that, but the shake cost me 3.59 cents. It was a little steep for a McDonald’s quality shake. I saw a sign outside advertising a burger, fries and soda combo for 5.99. I may be back to try their burgers, but ill pass on the shakes.
