Carmen’s pan pizza is delicious. Never eaten in, always delivery or picked it up. We often have it delivered when we’re hosting and everyone always loves it. Best pizza in Evanston.

Ate lunch here today how this place is still around is beyond my comprehension. I ordered chicken soup that was terrible ordered Caesar Salad it was a new version with tomatoes and cucumbers. The minestrone soup was like water would never go back to this restaurant.

I hate that Carmen’s has to run out of Las Palmas now, but I am so glad they are still around. Their Chicago Style pizza has been by absolute favorite since I was a kid. Delivery is, and always was, very slow, and yes it is strange to order pizza out of a Mexican restaurant. However, it still tastes absolutely delicious! My suggestion is to order for pick up. They are ready in about 30 minutes and you can just run in and out and enjoy in the comfort of your own home. In addition to the Chicago Style Pizza, I love ordering a side salad with their house dressing. I use the extra dressing to dip my crust. This place is awesome.

So bad called to place a pizza for pick up 20 min before closing and they said there were closed although their website says 10. Won’t be ordering from here anymore.

I had a Cesar’s Salad, Baby Pan Pizza, and Angel Hair Pasta with Meat Sauce. The salad was a B+; Pizza was an A-; and the Pasta, especially the meat sauce, an A+. Very reasonably priced and excellent, attentive service. It does operate as a partner with Las Palmas, so don’t be deterred by the lack of signage.

Went to visit Chicago for the weekend and had to order some deep dish pizza. Coming from New York, I feel like I was obligated to hear what the fuss was about with the deep dish. I regret going to Carmen’s and would advise people to go elsewhere. The pizza at Carmen’s was disgusting… they had a watery sauce, not crispy, and just overall a bad pizza. I do not know if this was a new pizza guy working that day, but it put a disgusting taste in my mouth which I wish I could forget. The next day I went to Lou Malnati’s and was pleased with my experience there and glad I got to experience somewhat decent deep dish pizza. Maybe coming from New York I have higher standards when it comes to pizza, but I would definitely not recommend Carmen’s.

Three hours, no pizza delivered and no one answering phones at Carmen’s. Need I say more? I had to hunt down a number for Chow Down to get a credit card refund. They handle Carmen’s online ordering. I guess I’m lucky I ordered through them, at least they answered the phone! Please DONOT give Carmen’s your business.

We never had problems with Carmen’s until recently. Just was they moved in with Las Palmas. As we order pizza a couple of weeks ago, we were told that it will take a hour. Just like Mario’s experience, the person on the phone was telling us that the driver was on their way, so wait 10 minutes. After 3 times of that, the same person on the phone told us that our pizza WASNOTEVENMADEANDWEHADTOWAIT A HOURFORITTOBEDONE. They refunded our money and went to Blaze pizza.

Over an one hour to get a pizza??? And the guy on the phone(carlos) lacks of customer service skills. No explanation on why pizza was late. Called 3 times and every time his answer was give the driver 10 more minutes, in my opinion that could be the reason why they are sharing their location with las palmas!!!

Was looking for some stuffed goodness since the local Giordano’s closed, so I decided to give Carmen’s a try. I always appreciate a good online ordering system, and theirs is great. Trying to find them was kind of confusing. They seem to be operating out of a mexican restaurant, and there are no signs or anything to point you in the right direction. The pizza wasn’t sliced, which could’ve been a problem if I hadn’t been at home. I didn’t care for the crust as much as other places, it was a bit more dry for my taste. I’ll still give them 4 stars even though I probably won’t be going back.

Just tried Carmen’s again(stuffed double pepperoni pizza), and it was great — like I remember them being back in the 90’s. Was a bit confusing to find because the signs outside say Las Palmas, but after I got the pizza home I was in heaven. After Giordano’s closed I was bummed, but now am happy to have a local source of deep dish wonderfulness.
