We loved McMasters! We got married in March 2013. We found him when we were admiring the photograph displayed at our wedding planner’s office. Matthew was always prompt and beyond courteous. The package includes an engagement photo shoot so he has a sense of your style and who you are — which is so nice because he no longer becomes a stranger taking photos of you on your wedding day. professional — he was willing to step up to arrange my million family members. he told me when a angle wasn’t going to work. he fixed my veil perfectly. I’ve been to other weddings where the photographer doesn’t do anything but snap photos. that’s not McMasters. prompt — After the wedding, we received our proofs within a couple of weeks. My other wedded friends waited months for their proofs and even longer for their album. patient — Best thing was that he was super patient with me in my 100x requests for reedits to our final album. You would assume that once a wedding vendor gets your money and does the wedding, you’ll never hear from them… that’s not Matthew. beautiful — the photos he took of us our so unique and so special. he doesn’t take the same photo shoots even if you are at the same location. your day will be special :)

I have been in contact with Matthew for two weeks starting March 17th. He at first emailed me right away. He told me that he had my date available and that he would love to meet, but could only during the evenings. My fiancé was not able to meet because of her work until April 2nd. My next email took almost a week to get a reply back. I was patient though because I had emailed him right before a weekend. We finally se up our appointment date May 25th. After setting our appointment he emailed me on April 1st at 11:55am and confirmed our meeting for tomorrow night and then two hours later he emailed me again to tell me that he booked someone else. A courtesy email stating that he had someone else interested in the date would have been appropriate, so I could possible move up our meeting to an earlier date. Also I asked him multiple times where we would even be meeting him and he completely ignored me. I am a part time photographer and I would never treat my clients that way. My fiancé thought it would be appropriate to meet with multiple photographers, but I said no that I really liked his work and that my friends had no complaints and we should book him when we met. I’m sorry but this is the worst professionalism that I have ever encountered. If you go to book him good luck. It’s a shame I really liked his work, but now I’m glad this happened because I really wouldn’t have wanted this unprofessionalism to occur during my wedding day.
