Living in the Ellensburg area, there are not a lot of sports shops around town. When my tennis strings broke, I was excited to find a local business that could restring them for me. I paid extra to get the nicest strings they had available. I was really disappointed when a little over a month later, my strings broke(we had been playing tennis about 2 – 3 times per week). I was extremely disappointed when I went to the store and politely explained the situation and was told simply that«tennis strings break». I asked if we could receive any form of a discount to get it restrung there since it obviously did not last any where near as long as it should have. We were told no. I thought this was really poor customer service for a local business. They also lost us as customers — we will find a better deal with better quality service.

I was surprised to find this store in «rodeo town.» They have a great cross section and display of quality recreational merchandise. There is a lot of value in being able to look, touch, and feel. Also value in being able to talk to someone who knows the products. I encourage you to support this store with your dollars. I plan to.

Great, independent sporting goods store. They have a lot of ski equipment and an impressive selection of quality, high-end, serious camping and climbing gear. The staff here was very helpful when we stopped in looking for advice about local hikes.
