OMG!!! The worst experience ever at a Tuesday morning store!!! My wife and I went here few weeks ago for a special sale the had on a Sunday. We Purchased 2 Kitchen Aid Mixers on sale for $ 199.00 each, with tax that’s $ 214.00 and change ea. We paid cash for them and purchased them on separate transactions as one was for my wife’s sister. A little over a week later, we found better deal at Costco as they placed a larger better model on sale, so we decided to purchase the one at Costco and return the one we purchased from Tuesday Morning. We hadn’t even open the box yet, so we took it back to them and they approved the return but stated that since the item was over $ 200.00, we would have to get our refund from the Corporate Office in the form of a check, and it would take 7 – 10 days or less. We were both very disappointed but, there were no other options, so we returned it as planned. It’s been over two weeks and still no check!!! So I called back to the store and spoke to the manager Amanda(who actually was there when I returned the mixer and remembered me). Although she was very apologetic, she said she will can only do so much on her level. I asked for the district managers name & number and I couldn’t believe what she said next! She replied, «we’re not allowed to give out the name or number to our district manager until we contact them first, explain to them the situation and then get their ok to let you speak with them! I could hardly believe what I was just told!!! My wife and I are small business owners who also retail to the public and I have never heard of such a incredulous and eccentric policy ever!!! Your District managers are scared to speak with an unhappy or concerned customer? So they use the gate keeper system to filter out who they want to help or not help? Just amazing!!! But wait, it gets better! So, i get online and find their corporate office customer service number and I call it. A woman named Trisha answers and ask how can I help you? I explained my long story of disappointment with all the details i’m sharing with all of you and after listening a minute or two, she cuts me off in mid conversation and says, «let me get you to the right department that issues the check! Then she abruptly transfers the call before I can say another word and I get someones voicemail by the name of Carmen! Totally unreal & pathetic customer service!!! It didn’t take two weeks to take my cash! It shouldn’t take 3 to refund it!!! I guess you already figured out i’m madder than a red wet rooster! Going Back? Take 3 guesses, and the first two don’t count!

My New Favaorite Store. I bought a teal porcelain elephant at another discount store, and when I got home it slipped out of the bag and out my trunk only to smash on the cement. The other store declined my request to try and exchange it. I found an exact copy of that elephant here, for $ 5 less as well. When I expressed to the cashier that I was replacing it and was bummed the other store wouldnt take the roken elephant back, she assured me if that happend to anything I purchase here that she’ll have my back and do her best to get an exchange for me if not a refund.

The place is very messy, smells weird, and is super pricey! I went in there looking for a wood salad bowl and found 2 of them priced at $ 60! Pier 1 which is 2 doors down from them has much nicer wooden bowls for $ 35. Couldn’t believe the outrageous prices for a so called discount store. Will not be going there again. I am surprised it is still open after all this time.
