Took my family here for dinner last night and it was awesome. Have been to several other Teppanyaki Grill and Buffets in several states, but this one, by far, was THEBEST. Had a dish for just about every taste and everyone left stuffed.

No lie. Best buffet i have ever been too. and trust me ive been to many of them This one is really big. has a bunch of different type of foods. Mexican Chinese Japanese cantonese american italian etc. and their coconut shrimp the best! mexican flan and arroz con leche recommended! El paso is lucky to have this. the price is decent. the only thing is charging 6 $ bucks for kids. now that I dislike becuz my baby girl doesn’t eat more than a handful of noodles and $ 6 is too much! they have a lot of options for drinks too and a teppan grill with steaks and yakisobas. outstanding place! recommended.

No complaints. A huge variety of food, that is always being restocked. A grill area where they can cook your meat or noodles. A huge variety of scoop ice creams(much better than the machines you seem to find in most buffets) and different options besides Chinese food. Was greatly impressed with the flan(dessert) it was so delicious, sort of shocking how delicious it was being that it is from a buffet. Its a must try if you are looking for a good buffet. My husband had a feast when it came to the seafood. Will be returning for sure.

This is possibly the best chinese buffet in EP, and I’ve been to a lot of them. The price is just around what you’d expect for a buffet, but the selection they offer is absolutely jaw dropping. A wide assortment of sushi, and several rows of what you’d expect to find such as noodles, fried rice, chicken, steak, shrimp, and everything you could want. They even have brown rice available! They have a teppan grill area where you could create your own dish or get a steak. They even have Mexican food. My only problem when I come here is eating too much!

Awwww yeee!!! So I’ve been here a bunch of times, so i want to apologize for not writing a review sooner but in between being busy and having other stuff on my play I just never got around to it. Teppanyaki Grill and Buffett, located within walking distance of my favorite dollar movie theater in town and across, well across the freeway i guess? Eh. This is El Paso, and if you have been to a Chinese buffet you have been to most, so why would i continue to come to this one when i have so many choices? Why would i drive so far(I’m a central kid) to indulge in some american style chinese food? CAUSEIT’S GOODTHAT’S WHY! Yelling aside i really like the place, the decorations are nice(maybe cause its the newest but its visually appealing), the service from the servers is good and their food selection is pretty legit. They have your favorites as far as selection goes but what really makes it for me, is their sushi bar. Sometimes i just want to stuff my face with a bunch of Cali style rolls, sometimes i just want an unlimited amount of Inari for me to cover in delicious Eel Sauce and devour until i can no longer move for long periods of time. This is where Teppanyaki gets it right, they have a nice selection of rolls, along with a few cones and some sashimi, I am aware the quality isn’t as amazing as it should be but when you have a sushi craving and you don’t really want to kill your wallet then maybe this could be an option to consider? Go there, its good, the peeps are nice and the food is good. Not to mention they do have some mexican food options which make it for a very interesting plate combination.

This place has serious talent to be as bad as it is, and to be as busy as it is. To have bought so many 4 and 5 star reviews on Google, must of cost them… eh… twenty bucks. The food is well below standards. From the dry, tasteless sushi options. To the american/mexican foods in the back row. I had to spit out 80% of the food I put in my mouth due to bad tastes and bad textures. I have never had egg rolls and spring rolls THIS bad. The Garlic Butter Shrimp and Sesame Chicken were the highlights of the hour we spent in this dump. The pizza was worse than frozen kids cafeteria food options. Pretty much the slow and skinny of this review… I will not come back for any reason. Food is bad. Service was quick to begin with, but never gave a second glance for a refill of our waters. I have seen cleaner bathrooms in pictures a fallout zone. And the price alone for such an experience… Not worth it. ATALL!

Omg!!! I wish I wouldn’t have wasted my money going to Grand China Buffet. This place is clean and they have a wide variety of food to choose from. The husband and I have been searching for a decent Chinese restaurant here in ELP and this is it! We walked in and paid for a meal and we were immediately escorted to our table. We were given the option of either a booth or table which I really loved. We did have to wait for a bit for our waitress to get our drink order, but as soon as she did and returned we were off! First I stopped by the sushi bar… love! The lady working at the bar noticed I was pregnant and pointed out the sushi that I could have which I truly did appreciate. We then made our rounds and I was just overwhelmed by all of the options. Everything I had, I truly did enjoy. I really loved that all of the food was warm! I’m not sure how this place could get any negative reviews. I will definitely visit here again!

Well, I got say I was not impressed. I heard a lot of hype about this place. I walked in and was amazed with the entry. Looks grand. The staff welcomed me and I paid. Waited for the hostess to seat our party. I set my things down at the table and started to wonder though the many, many, many choices of combinations. I ended up at grill putting together my raw ingredients. Felt a little lost at first. But I saw another lady give her food to the gentleman behind the counter. I did the same. Had a full plate and returned to my table. Ate, went again to sample a few more things. Nothing really stood out as amazing. I felt like it was very similar to Grand China Buffet with a better atmosphere. Great staff very nice and clean. I wouldn’t return if I had a choice of something better.

Hands down the best buffet in El Paso. They have everything to please the large family. We are a family of 8! The littles could get nuggets and pizza but the adults could dine on sushi and crab legs. Excellent choices and wonderful clean atmosphere.

Not a huge fan of buffets of any kind and stopped here for dinner(not from TX). It was alright. My fam ate and enjoyed themselves. One thing I can say is that the employees were very nice and the area is squeaky clean. There were also lots off ppl who go there. I’ll stick with home cooked meals though.

PLEASE take pride in maintaining a clean restaurant. I cannot believe how filthy this place was. The carpet squares looked like they hadn’t been shampooed in years. When visiting the rest room my feet were sticking to the floor. Yes, everyone — sticking. to. the. floor. I had to wipe down the table where we were seated myself, and the benches too. I drove all the way from the west side for this and won’t do it again. We ordered sprite to drink and it tasted like the cup wasn’t rinsed clean of soap because it started foaming(not fizzing) in my mouth. I had to spit it out in a napkin. The food was decent, but the filth of the restaurant is more than I can tolerate. If you live far away it is not worth the trek. The servers were very nice though. We left a good tip because of the service from the young man.

I believe I just found my favorite asian restaraunt in EP! I’m sure this is a popular among others too, since it was super busy during the weekend. We were lucky to had come in before it got packed. When you enter you pay for your meal, prices vary on weekdays and weekends and what time of the day. I paid $ 16 on a Sunday. Then you give your ticket to the person at the podium to get seated. When seated you can begin your feast! There are waiters/waitresses going around to ask for what kind of drinks you want. I would’ve given it 5 stars, but our waitress seemed confused cause she came to our table 3x asking for our tickets if we paid for drinks or not. It looked like her and the supervisor were confused on who paid for a drink or not. I understand it gets busy, but organization should be implemented especially when it gets crowded quick. The food has a huge variety. The layout is sushi in the middle. Soups and asian cusines 2nd row middle. Then to the right they have a place where you can request to prepare meat, like steaks. Then further up is your dessert. To the left side, they have mac and cheese, refried beans, fried chicken, etc. For those who are not interested in seafood. Sushi and food is ALWAYS restocked! They’re also clean and we’ll displayed. I noticed that someone had dropped some rice on the floor and quickly a person came to clean and wipe the area and fix the displays. They’re very quick to respond and always smiling. The interior is gorgeous and spacious. Reminds me of asian restaraunts in Cali. I’m glad this exist here cause I seriously miss seafood and it’s all you can eat! A must try.

First time visit and really impressed with cleanliness, variety of food and quality. If you leave hungry it is your own fault. Friendly staff and buffet line is constantly refilled. Best we have found in El Paso.

Came to this place last night for the first time. I came here for the sushi and crab legs only, as I am not a fan of poor quality Chinese buffets. The Chinese food selection was garbage, there were more Mexican food options than Chinese, are you kidding me! The sushi taste was ok but did not have many varieties. The selections were too similar so the chefs lacked creativity. That was a bit disappointing. They had a dispenser of low sodium soy sauce, and after I left I felt my lips dry as sand. There was no way that was low sodium. The crab legs were steamed and kept warm. As anyone will tell you, once you steam shellfish you must place them on ice right away to avoid the meat sticking to the shell. The staff was actually very polite and the place was clean. For 15 bucks a person, I don’t believe I got my money’s worth. There is a better choice in town for all you can eat sushi. Personally, I wouldn’t come back. But if you are Chinese buffet enthusiast. Then by all means.

After reading everyone else’s review, we decided to give this buffet joint a try. When you first come in inside the restaurant, you will be wowed! I have to say that the design is a little fancy. I learned that this establishment was just opened not long ago. The place is very clean, and so is the restrooms. The food was alright, maybe because having tried other buffet places in my lifetime, my standards are higher. The primary reason behind the visit to this restaurant is the sushi. I have to say that Tokyo buffet sushi is probably a little better than this place. What sets the two apart is the price and selection of food. Teppanyaki grill charges only $ 12.99 and the food selection is vast. My favorite is the steamed clams and crawfish. We’ll probably eat here again.

So I finally got to try this new buffet in town. They always have a commercial on my radio station saying«Japanese, Chinese, American and Mexican cuisines», so I was very curious… Lol Now then, please ready my review based on the fact that I’m not a fan of buffet at all. I also don’t know how much they charge for each person as my food was paid by the company I was very impressed to see how big the place was. It was Thursday night and there were so many people, but seems like nobody had to wait to get a table. You’d always see people waiting in the line at Grand China but this place had way more capacity. Food was decent. I also ordered their steak, but it took forever and by the time they brought the steak to me, I was full. It tasted pretty good though. The meat was very very thin but tender and I enjoyed the smoky taste. Again, it was paid by my company and I’m sure they charge extra for it, but I don’t know how much it was. They also had the biggest sushi bar I’ve ever seen at a buffet. They also had sashimi! I’ve never seen a buffet that serves sashimi so I was pretty impressed. Now, I know some people might be confused what sashimi is. I know in America, people call normal sushi ‘sashimi’, but it’s not. Sashimi just means raw fish without rice. So only the top part of what people call ‘sashimi’ here in U.S. is actually sashimi in Japan. But anyways sushi was okay. ‘Okay’ is even too nice but you know it’s a buffet. They certainly had variety of food just like they advertise on radio. I felt it was much larger than any other buffet I’ve ever been to in town. I didn’t get to try but they had many kinds of ice creams too! So my 3 stars is based on the capacity, clean environment, and the variety of food. If you love buffet, you must love this place!

First of all I would like to start by saying the restaurant itself is very beautifully designed. With Japanese inspired designs and an ample space, this buffet immediately rises above others such as Grand China Buffet. Unfortunately it takes more than just a nice atmosphere and pretty architecture to make a good restaurant. The ugly truth is this: the service is lackluster, nay, outright bad. The waiter came to our table only once, and the table soon became overcrowded with dirty plates as well as a dearth of utensils which are not offered where the plates are, rather the server needs to bring them to you, which is problematic if he/she doesn’t waiter the table properly in the first place. In regards to the food, the selection is impressive and cultural, especially the sushi, but some of the dishes do lack flavor and better culinary techniques. What I found especially delicious was the mochi which went by the name of sesame balls. I might give this buffet another chance in the future, but I must say I left a bit disappointed.

I’ve eaten here twice and I have to say it’s a very impressive buffet. It’s laid out like some Vegas buffets but on a smaller scale. The sushi bar is my return investment since they offer over 20 different rolls when it is full stocked. It’s tasty as well. They have a large assortment of Asian dishes, a section for various fried foods, a Mexican section, a make your own dish grill station, and more. Some of the offered foods are hit or miss but the sushi bar really did it for me. Will return.
