Allied Gardens Little League thanks Sycuan Golf for their donation to our league’s fundraising efforts. Let’s support the San Diego area businesses that give back to the local communities — for a fabulous round of golf… think Sycuan.

So this review is for the reservations department of the resort. I haven’t actually stayed here. My mom purchased a concert package for this weekend at Oceanside pier(KSON Countryfest). But she hurt herself while out of town and is unable to go. I called and asked if they would refund the money but they are not able to do so. They did transfer the package to my name and I tried to find someone to go with me to no avail. Everyone was busy. Let me tell you I sent them so many emails with questions and called them a couple times too trying to figure out what I could do. I was able to sell the entire package to someone else luckily. Throughout the experience every person I dealth with either via email or phone was friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get this resolved without my mom being out the money. Thank you! :)

Really great place to golf. I can’t complain about anything. Willow glen is a fun course to play and a little challenging for people who struggle to hit the ball consistently well. But nonetheless it’s a great place to go out and play around

Worst customer service ever. I was told I can do an early check in while my boyfriend played golf and before my spa appointment, so I went to check in and the lady at the counter had no clue what she was doing so she kept asking the other lady what to do and let me mention not in English but in Tagalog. Completely rude and unprofessional, when they finally figured it out she said she physically needed the card we booked the room with to run it, I didn’t have it since my boyfriend was playing golf, I offered to pay with my card and she said she couldn’t it had to be the card that we booked the room with. In all my travels and places we have booked I’ve never been told they physically need our cards to charge, most places just charge as is in their system. It seems they need to update their systems then and teach their employees about customer service and speaking English.

The Women’s School of Golf with Julie & Kim is AMAZING! Whether you are a beginning or have been playing the game for many years, their golf school WILL improve your game! The structure of instructional segments in the morning with course management(on the golf course) was extremely valuable. Julie & Kim are both very knowledgeable AND able to teach! Would have been 5 stars but the hotel rooms are a bit outdated and«musty» smelling.

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by how incredible the golf course is here. I have golfed at many golf courses in San Diego but this is probably one of the nicest. The condition is incredible. Especially for having drought conditions in the area. They must have access to the water from the nearby river or water source because the entire Willow Glen course was in incredible condition! It was so green it looked like artificial grass but it was all natural. They have some spectacular views. They have 3 courses out here. Two par 3 courses and Willow Glen. This is a bit of a hike from North County, San Diego but definitely worth the drive. I’ll start coming out here monthly.

I could only bear the non smoking area, but there was only one roulette table, no craps table, mostly slot machines and all $ 15 minimum black Jack tables. The dealers were cranky, the food sucked and the roulette numbers are selected from playing cards rather than a die. It was weird. Wouldn’t return.

Came here last weekend for a surprise birthday. The hotel experience: The rooms were extremely nice and clean. The staff I did come across checking in was nice. The only thing that was irritating about the hotel experience was that I had called 2x previous to the day to check in. I added another name to my room so they could check in as I was bringing the birthday girl and coming later and did not want to deal with that when I got there. I checked the day before about this and they said he could check in as he was on the account. Came the day of they would not let him check in. So as soon as I got the birthday girl to the party I had to leave and go deal with that. The bartender working the party was extremely unfriendly and rude. The bartender in the Echo’s Lounge when I went in was the same way. I went to ask him a question about the kitchen being open. He walked by me at least 4 times ignoring me. When he finally acknowledged me he said nothing just stared at me like I was bothering him. Asked him the question and his response was not friendly. In regards to Echo’s Lounge and events I would not bother going back by choice. I suggest getting friendlier staff.

Just this past weekend our cycling club(619 Barkada) had our 2nd Annual Christmas Party there and it was amazing! Ms. Brandy Schwab helped coordinated the party. All of our guest were very impressed with the food served and staff were very courteous. Everyone enjoyed our party! Many of us also stayed overnight at the resort. Rooms were awesome! It was clean, bedding were very comfortable and soft. I would say as same level as the Marriott and Hilton which is my favorite hotels to stay. I am not sure if it was the mojo but I slept like a baby! Bathroom is large and very clean… service is also top notch. We called for more water, coffee, and shampoo(Marivic) in the morning… delivered to the room very quick! Thank you.

On November 13, 2015 my wife Emily and I were married at Sycuan Golf Resort. The staff, specifically Ashley, were helpful beyond belief. The preparation and guidance from Ashley was amazing. She went so far as to reccomend useful vendors that assisted with flowers, dj’s, cakes, etc… I am writing to say that Ashley Walter provided our families, friends, and ourselves with the wedding of our dreams and put our minds at ease! She addressed these details as if it were her own event. We are forever indebted to Ashley and Sycuan for the most beautiful and magical evening of our lives thus far… Mr. & Mrs. Realmuto PS. thanks Ash

Not a golf person, nor planning on become one either. Golf is a great sport, but its just not for me per se. I was invited to a beautiful Catholic Communion to my beautiful Niece who is now 9yrs old. It was a beautiful setup from start to end. The communion took place at this golf resort restaurant/Hall/Bar yes I know its a series of combinations to have your next event, its a smart way of doing business. This review is based on the experience I had in all three. The bar, is below average, quick and nothing special about it. Their drink selections are poor, and if you just happen to be there for the«drinks» don’t bother. That being said, the menu and food selections are amazing and deserves the initial 5 star I would rate this place at. I strongly, strongly, oh and again strongly recommend their amazing baked salmon with fries. Its by far the best salmon I had in a long time. Yum. It just melts in your beautiful mouth and your taste buzz all lights up because of the enjoyment your mouth is having. Next, the hall is very small and maybe if am correct it can fit no more than 150 guests. So if your planning on a huge gathering, call and find out more about this part of the services they offer. While we were there, we got access to their outside patio along with its beautiful bright greens. The kids were all playing outside while the adults are getting their fix on. It was a fun time and I do recommend their services for any occasion you might be having.

Happened to finally stop by here and check out the grounds. We parked in the small lot by the banquet halls and restaurant. As we got out the car we were greeted by the biggest spider web in between these two palm trees. Oh my! This city girl was amazed! Well hello October spider. As we walked up to the restaurant there was a sign for a wedding. So we walked around towards the gold course and ran into an employee and asked where to walk and what to see. There was a nice driving range. We spotted some groomsmen and bridesmaids piled onto different golf carts laughing and screaming getting ready for the big event. We got a glimpse of the wedding set up and even saw the couple taking their photos on the grounds. It was very beautiful, green and peaceful. People on golf carts waved and smiled as they went by. The golf shop was empty but we were greeted right away. If you need anything golf-it looks like a really nice shop! Overall, the landscaping, views, and grounds are well kept and clean.

Nice hotel room but there were flies in my room upon check in as well as silver fish bugs running around the floors. The bed was very very comfortable and so were the pillows. The AC was perfect but that’s about it. I wouldn’t stay here again. I only stayed because I was tired and was only sleeping here for 4 hours and working. It’s a damn shame how gross these rooms are.

«Golf Course is Turning Brown and Dying« The Willow Glen golf course is NOT called the Singing Hills Country Club anymore. Years ago the entire golf course was purchased by the Sycuan Indian Reservation. So it is now called the Sycuan Resort. The Willow Glen Course used to be one of my favorite courses in all of San Diego. But the course must be running out of water. The entire course is now brown instead of green. And the down the street the Cotton Wood Golf course, which only charges $ 27 for a round of golf with a golf cart, is now way greener and nicer looking than the Sycuan Courses. Sycuan is still charging up to $ 91.00 for a round of golf on Willow Glen with a golf cart. Come on Sycuan, spend some of that casino money and drill some more wells, find some new water, and get the courses you have back to the level they used to be at.

Played golf at Sycuan yesterday on the Oak Glen course and wow was I disappointed! I played there 2 months ago and it was beautiful, but now it browned out in lots of areas, very dry throughout the course and the grass is looking stressed but the greens were is great shape. Bonita would be a better choice, last week it was in beautiful condition.

Setting up shop for a mothers against drunk drivers event at Sycuan golf course. This place is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Years ago I attended a wedding here and it was also beautiful. Looking forward to many more times coming here and visiting this beautiful place.

Attended a wedding ceremony & reception at Sycuan Golf Resort. I’ve hacked my way through the golf course, too, but not recently. Beautiful venue. The lawn is well manicured and accented with seasonal blooms. Behind the gazebo is a small waterfall cascading down a decorative rock wall. We also attended the reception at the private banquet room next to the golf clubhouse bar. It’s not a giant hall by comparison, but the room size was ample to easily fit 7 or 8 dinner tables, a dance floor, DJ area, wedding cake table, and separate wedding gift table. Lovely refreshments. There was a complimentary cocktail hour(aka open bar) on call liquors, beer, and wine, during the newlywed photograph session. Some snackables included a fancy cheese plate with assorted crackers and bread along with some warmed spinach artichoke dip. Employees were also bringing around trays of bruschetta. The dinner plate was a duo of NY steak cooked medium and chicken breast under a Boursin sauce, with mashed potatoes and a green bean medley. Everything was tasty and the portions were perfect. Satisfying, yet allowing room for a slice of wedding cake… or more cocktails. Did I mention open bar? Stellar service. The friendly and efficient banquet team was on point for the reception. Glasses refilled regularly. Empties cleared out promptly. Dinner plates delivered timely and the food was served to temperature. The waitstaff ninjas moved effortlessly around the room with speed and precision. Zero complaints. I peeked at the clubhouse bar next door. They recently added AleSmith San Diego Pale Ale 394 on tap. Cozy spot to relax with a couple of large flat screens. Looks like a great place to hang out after a round of golf and watch something sporty on TV. The Sycuan Resort is another top notch staycation gem in San Diego to play hard. And if you play a bit too hard, there are some suite resort accommodations to sleep it off.

This is probably the only course in San Diego that will be the hottest course to play at. As everywhere in San Diego was probably low to mid 70s today, Sycuan was probably mid to high 80s just because the course sits in the middle of a valley surrounded by mountains. The course itself isn’t bad(Willow Glen). The club house, restaurant, locker rooms look to be stuck in the 1980s. The parking lot is bare without any trees so your car is sitting in the hot sun the whole day. Decently fast golf carts, decent fairways, dry lake beds and ravines, but super tough greens. I don’t know what happened today but the greens were decently fast, the ball just seemed to break away last second on every putt for my group and I. The staff at Sycuan were cool. Very attentive. The beverage came around a few times! Would I come back? Maybe if there was a good deal. Sycuan golf is like playing golf in the 909⁄951(chino hills, corona, San Bernardino area).
