Starbucks is Starbucks… good reliable drinks. It’s the employees that make this place 5 star worthy. I’ve been here 3x in the last month and Berj has taken care of each time. Super friendly and personable, very professional and on the ball. I’d come to this location, over the 2 others down the street, just because he makes us smile.

Drive through is very convenient for those who are in a bit of a rush. Fast experience in the drive through and got my green tea fix. The mint chocolate green tea Frappuccino was perfect! Highly recommend for mint fans!

Went here recently after getting vitamins at Target. There was a spill between the registers & Starbucks walkway. All these different managers were calling and paging people to clean it up. Like how hard is it for a manager to just clean it up themselves? They got the Starbucks counter girl to clean it and she apologized for the wait and took my order. Then she started to make my drink, without washing her hands. She literally was holding paper towels to the floor, threw them away, went to the register and started my beverage. I asked her if she was going to wash her hands and she apologized and thanked me for reminding her to. As soon as she begins a clean drink two other Target/Starbucks employees come out of the woodwork to assist the line that’s formed. Honestly, I think a good manager would lead by example and simply clean up a mess if they’re not busy and what made it worse was that the manager didn’t even acknowledge his patrons or thank the employee who cleaned the mess, but he was able to chat it up with the Starbucks guy who came back from break. Lame manager. No wonder why the Starbucks workers look so miserable at this place.

I know these are not actual Starbucks employees. But they still should act like they are part of the team. They always seen upset and hate their job. I’d take that job in a heartbeat. Btw. They don’t do refills…

Every time I am at this Target, I never see any employees behind the counter at Starbucks– or there is always one employee and a very long line. Went tonight with my sister to pick up some things at Target, stopped for a peppermint mocha. Needless to say– the one employee working there looked miserable. No hello, No how are you. He didn’t even smile. Totally unprofessional and I would never expect attitude like this from Starbucks. I really like the general, upbeat personalities Starbucks has to offer– but I will be steering clear of this one in the future.

This Starbucks is located inside of Target at the Rancho San Diego Towne Center. Before getting some shopping done, I stopped in for a quick breakfast and coffee. I had their oatmeal with everything( ), a gingerbread biscotti,( ) and grande Pike’s Peak. The oatmeal was good. I thought the water should of came a little hotter because it took a while for my oats to set properly, but after it was ready, I poured the little packet of brown sugar and nuts and dried fruits and I was set.( ) The oatmeal was good. The ginger bread biscotti was good. I expected a more vibrant flavor of ginger, the flavor was there, but it was just a little weak. it was still good for dunking in my coffee. My Pike’s Peak was very good and came pipping hot. The service was okay. Not the most excited Starbucks employees I have run into, but they were fine. Everywhere I turn, I see a Starbucks.
